My goal is to reduce educational disparities by making education FREE.
These videos help you score extra points on medical school exams (USMLE, COMLEX, etc.)
For educational purposes only; NOT medical or other advice.
Some videos contain mild profanity and hyperbole solely used to assist with memorization. Viewer discretion advised.
Opinions are entirely my own.
Correction: Sulfonamides are P450 INHIBITORS however Sulfonamide antibiotics are still contraindicated
I use AminoLEAVEulinic acid (leaves the mitochondria).
Ohhjjj!!!!! That's smart 😉
I like it 😁😁
Interesting.. tnx doc..!!
& Copro=Come back 😁
Fire.
Dude, you saved me from failing the part of heme synthesis, gigantic thanks to you.
You're a terrific teacher, hands down the best one to convert the burden of memorizing biochemistry cycles into a cakewalk.
Thankyou so much for all your efforts Sir🙌
I have so many resource available to me -- this is by far the best video I have seen covering this topic! Really great job here!
I wish I'd seen this this morning right before my practice test with like 5 questions on this topic *cries* seriously it's like you know exactly what I struggle with and make videos on it thank you soooo much
Your video is AWESOME! Thank you so much. You have no idea how excellent this was!
Tysm! U r an amazing teacher. Your mnemonics actually make sense and the way u teach is just amazing!! Please keep making more videos!!
Thanks you for providing such an amazing resource and making it available for medical students without cost!!!
I am going to support your channel, it has been helpful to summarize a lot of Biochemistry which is very confusing.
For lead signs, I think "A Basic Stapler vs a Lead Pipe"... Lead pipes are linear so you get the burton lines and lead lines on bones. Additionaly, Basic Stapler for the basic stippling. Stapler holes in papers once they are removed look kind of granular . Just my memory hook.
Dirty! I love you! Porphyrias always were my problem until this video! Thank you so much!
iconic, yet again. my mans don't miss.
KING!! its the ✨mnemonics✨ for me 💕
Your biochem , pharma ,patho video really really helped me pass step 1 .so grateful.god bless.really beyond. great work doc.
Congrats!! Is the real deal similar to UWORLD or the NBMEs?
I think the Heme Synthesis Mnemo was the best until now :D. Awesome Video as always.
Loved this video on heme synthesis ❤️❤️😘
Thank you so much . This topic is extremely volatile for me and you made it easy.
great as always 😍👏🏻
Also for Lead, I use:
ALA (girl) & Ferro (boy) played with lead 😄
U are extremely good. Thank you so much Sir! U have simplified my life
I'm so grateful. Thank you
YESSSS!!!! 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 test in 5 days
Good luck! Mine is in 10!
Good luck guys 🥺🥺🥺🥺 y’all got it!
Test in the next 8 hours 😭🕯️
3 day!
@@Be1smaht All the best
God bless
I just want to say thank you and u r a great teacher toooo 🎉 congratulations
Thank you! Just in time for my exam!
you saved me from biochemistry. Thanks to you !
God of teaching medicine ❤
thank you so much for your dedication
WHY ON EARTH IS HE SO UNDERRATED?!
Thanks for another great video!
This video is very helpful! Thank you!
Thank you xx
Easily registered... thank u doc!
For the pathway mnewmonic "for" can be where Fe+2 enters the pathway
Bro I’m thankful for you forever
another way to remember which steps occur in the mitochondria: just remember the FIRST and LAST step are the ONLY ones to occur in the mitochondria (if you dont wanna remember his mnemonic and this conceptually makes sense to you)
Amazing video!
Is there an easy way to learn the anatomy of the respiratory tree (like where we find goblet cells, cartilage, club cells, pseudo-stratified epithelium, smooth muscles, cilia etc)?
If you find this, please tell 🥺
Cartilage till bronchi
start of club cells in bronchioles
Cilia last to disappear till respiratory bronchioles start from the travhra
Great Lectures
thanks for the vedio
Your lecture helped me to make my assignment
Very informative and easy to understand video
amazing thanks dr , is there a vid for lymphoma ?
love the way you teach sir🥰
a mnemonic for the Heme synthesis pathway if you prefer an alternative
Great Scholars Always Prioritize Higher Understanding, Creating Profound HEMEpothesis(hypothesis)
Cheers,
Dirty, you and all who make similar videos deserve a special spot in heaven.
You are a good person.
Superb I learn more from you thank you
Absolute banger mnemonic

Thanks Much broo!
And that's why he's GOAT, the GOAT 🐐🐐🐐
Really useful
I should study for my nursing final, but nah, I'm watching this first. The test contains anemia and hematology too.
Omggggggg ur the best !!!!!
Aminolev LEAVES, COP enters.
wow, i can not thank you enough.
bro...
i love you man
Why are you so awesome?🔥🔥
Thankk uuuu❤❤❤❤❤
Can you please make a video on gene mutations!!
I have porphyria, I have a cellular test showing I’m completely deficient in b6, also serine so I’m assuming I could be low in glycine as well. I might have a gene where I can’t covert pyridoxine into Pyridoxal 5 phosphate. I was experiencing severe attacks, hospital couldn’t figure out what was wrong with me. I ordered the active b6 and got immediately better each day. I’m working with a functional dr who found my porphyrians are extremely high. We are still trying to rule out of anything else could be causing this but I’m hoping it’s just b6 deficiency. I can’t drink alcohol either ever. I turn white and need to recover for days after
You are the best .
For Lead , use
ALEAD instead of ALAD (both pronounced as A lead)
If lead inhibited ALA dehydratase , the pathway should stop here right? So, how come it continues to protoporphyrin 9?
For the slide on sideroblastic anemia, the HY point seems to be incorrectly presented. Should it be isoniazid consumption --> B6 def? Instead of isoniazid deficiency?
I meant to type Isoniazid Induced Deficiency > B6 Deficiency. I left out the word "induced" but if you listen to the words I say you still get to the same end point
❤
how does hydroxychloroquine help in PCT?
7:38 That pneumonic should qualify you for a Noble Prize.
Please someone explain to me. I am confused with the pathogenesis of lead poisoning. Is it lead poisoning that inhibits those enzymes or does the deficiency of those enzymes lead to lead poisoning? I believe the former is.
Just in case you need to remember when Iron comes into this process. Same mnemonic, "Get Some Additional..." but change the end "for Heme" to "(Fe)r Heme". Good luck fam.
♥️♥️♥️
Congenital erythropoietic porphyria ?
Where can I download your lectures?
5:10 The first and Last step in Mitochondria
the mnemonics had me cracking
love you Dirty
Wait so erythropoietic protoporphyria, coproporphyria, and variegate porphyria isn't important?
FEAD LEAD , FE ferrocheltase AD ala dehydretase
i love you
How does lead poisoning cause sideroblastic anemia
If only I had watched your video last year, I wouldn't have failed hematology 1
Amino-leave-ulinic acid 🤔

مو دكتور ضيم مع تحياتي لبقية الدكاتره خليعزلون ويفتحون چمبر مخضر 😂
good shit dirty!
