Kevin Ratcliffe | My Life At Everton
Great player and captain very understated and so quick made things look easy one of our best players not many better then him in his day.👍
I don't know how you've done it but you have had some interviews that mainstream media would be jealous of . Amazing work .
Thanks mate :)
Fantastic interview Baz. Really enjoyable. Your knowledge is second to none. Must have been a great privilege for you to speak to one of our greats. Keep up the great work.
Thanks John. Yeah I loved it mate, the memories come flooding back speaking to these lads. They have all been first class tbf
Can't overstate my love for the 80s team and the memories they gave us. Most successful captain in our history.
Great player and captain. Kevin Ratcliffe will always be fondly remembered by Evertonians.
Top player, captain and example for young people starting out in the game. Top man.
By far the best interview so far! Everton legend!
Loving these interviews 👌🏻 great work lads, stay safe 👍🏻
Thanks Bob, enjoy and stay safe too mate :)
Great interview Baz, What a player and captian for EFC that man was! The best years of football for our generation.
Really enjoyed these fantastic interviews. Thank you for bringing many great memories back.
CLASS Interview, well done! Team of TITANS.⚽
Spot on about reserve team football
Thank you Ratty and thank you for all you did .
One of my favourite Ratty moments was at Upton Park was when Kevin "subdued" Frank McAvenny with a beautiful crunching tackle from behind into the fork of the unfortunate Scotsman. Sheer poetry!
A good lad. I saw Kevin at the OMD gig last autumn. A good taste in music too. In my opinion.
Another great chat Baz.
Top top defender & capt
Top man mentioning the bus driver and the cleaner won the league twice fa cup winner great man
That a great interview again what a player!!
Great interview. All your hard work in the last few years is really paying off. The fact you're getting such respected players and media pundits coming on to be interviewed shows how respected your channel has become. Keep up the great work 👍
Thanks David, really appreciate that :)
A genius player at the Toffees a great number 4 a pure stalwart at the defence great skipper💙💙💙💙nil satis nisi optimum 1878
Another brilliant interview very insightful and inspiring
Another great interview Baz 👍
Thanks Alan :)
Baz. That was a great interview. Really enjoyable.
Another fantastic interview..well done Baz.
Thanks Mate
Gave us great service a proper stalwart but I dreaded it when we played Liverpool because rush was certainly his nemesis, ratters just could not cope with him at all but at least he picked up trophies for us.
Hello Toe, Know what your saying, Rushi was a right handful! nemesis? don't know about that, that rascal rush was a handful for anyone! Great Days.
I cannot believe we had the chance to take him when he was at Chester, whoever knocked him back needs shooting!the beaut was a constant thorn in our side, in those 2 f.a. cup finals he had ratters on toast,4 goals and he should have had 6.
Nice one Baz enjoyed again loved hearing these stories bless you Kev 👍
Thanks Billy
except when he talks nonesense about the 89 cup game against West Brom, How did Kendall force him and Sheedy to play when Kendall was manager of Bilboa@@ToffeeTVEFC
John Barton .... think he was talking about Harvey or it was another time !
well done baz - great interview with a true legend
Thanks Kiefer :)
Kev talking about the atmosphere at the Bayern game I was there it was great and he mentioned the Rooney game as the only one to match. The 2 that always stick in my head as much as any game I ever attended at Goodison were the Andy King goal when we beat them and big Bobs 30th we beat Chelsea 6-0 I was only 10 then but they are both engrained on me as unbelievable atmosphere and amazing games to be at pitch invasion staying in the st. End for 20m after game singing with my Dad great memories I'll never forget.
How did Kendall ask him and Sheedy to play against west brom in 89 when kendall was manager at bilbao
Well done 👍 brilliant 👍
Thanks David
In the round before John Gidman man marked Beatie of Ipswich and done a great job.
why would Gidman man mark Beattie who was a centre half, I think you mean Eric Gates
John Barton sorry but he was a midfielder and there best player destroyed us a few weeks before Ipswich won 4.0 at Goodison, anyway it was Gordon Lee’s decision not mine but it worked.
@@billycorbett5634 Kevin Beattie was a Centre half, it was Eric Gates who destroyed us in the previous game
Sorry for not knowing, but how are you getting these legends on? What is your working background, with linking Everton?
We are an Everton media company mate, they want to talk to us. They have been first class.
Good stuff! Baz, you tryin' to get Reidy on too? That would be fantastic.
Yes mate, he wants to come in the studio as he's not great on technology :) Haha
BAZ watch the Everton stream against Wimbledon today go to the 3_2 scoreline at the end 5 seconds after that PED is on the closeup
Yes Mikey it is ! Haha
Just Boss
He reminds me of literally everybodys uncle lol
Good North Walian 👊
Hi, Oh Yes! Been afew over the Years.
Diolch byth.
STORMY TEMPEST Southall , Ratclife , Gary Speed , Mark Hughes , Barry Horne to name a few from North Wales
@@robinwilliams9640 The best penalty taker we ever had, Captain, Title Winner, came from North Wales, Where about and Who? Regards.⚽
STORMY TEMPEST Roy Vernon played in the 60s?
Agree with kevin, young players are too soft these days. Its reflective of the selfish, soft society we have today.
