So I’m curious how your razor clams come out home canned I’ve read the instructions, but I’m concerned about the texture. Can you share with us with the texture is like
@@LindasPantry maybe a little chewy but we like it. Most of my recipes I throw it in the food processor with a bit of juice to almost a puree state. I use it for Clam chowder casserole, Clam fritters etc. I don't use canned clams for chowder if having company because it has a beige appearance due to being canned. I use frozen clams. For just us, we don't care. My sweetheart loves to pop open a jar and just eat it. I am not a fancy cook like you. I am not a good cook. I manage. Haha I LOVE baking though. I am excited to try this recipe. Maybe for a potluck at church.
I want to thank you for making this video. We recently moved to the Vancouver area, and I hadn't heard of razor clams. I've been watching videos on how to go digging for them, and can't wait to try it!
Grew up in the PNW still live here, started digging clams when I was 4 yrs old, nothing like razor clams we use to clean them soon as we got home & Mom would fry them for breakfast & also love clam fritters have a great recipe of my Moms.. enjoy!
I’ve never had a clam in my 61 years. I might like to try them this way? Thank you Linda!! I love that you’re so clean and meticulous about it! I truly appreciate you. Again, thank you 🌺 Just a thing. Use your stirring spoon to load up your tasting spoon, then you only need one tasting spoon 😊
This looks delicious! I love a good clam dip! Yum! I absolutely love to go clam digging! Lots of good memories, clam digging on the Olympic Peninsula in Washington State!
THese kinds of dips are always better after a few hours too! I do a crab dip similar but with garlic, curly parsley, and equal parts sour cream and mayo. Has to be Ruffles chips!!😃👍
@@LindasPantry Crab Dip. 1/2 C mayo. 1 C sour cream (plain greek yogurt works too). 1 TBS lemon juice. 1 can 16.5 OZ crab meat.(I use at least 2). 1/2 C FRESH chopped curly parsley. It will taste different if you use Italian flat leaf, but it'll work. Dried parsley does NOT work! 1 small clove garlic, supper fine chopped/minced. Chill for at least an hour. Longer the better! Serve with Ruffles! Super easy! 😃
Not an April fools joke!! I just finished making cowboy candy wontons but added canned mojo pork. My son and husband ate them all. We boiled them for a min then put them in air fryer. Super crispy. So darn good.
I love clam dip but never had fresh🙁 I’m not close to an ocean so it’s only been made with canned clams. Definitely a must try if I ever get razor clams.
You’re so lucky to be able to have those type of clams. I miss clam digging on the East Coast. We didn’t have clams like those. Im jealous because i love clams!
The only way I have eaten clams was chowder and frozen/breaded. Thise things are HUGE!! The dip looks good. Thanks for sharing.
I have jars and jars of razor clams! I am going to try this. Thank you. Missed the last dig. Glad you had fun.

OMG.. this looks delicious 😊
Going have some more digs next week. Really good tides. We use them in chowder
I sure miss living on the VA coast for the fresh sea food.
I will be making this next weekend. I live here in the PNW and going clamming!
I've never had razor clams, and you make it look like, " Boy, what have I been missing!".
Actually I would have to have Nalleys potato chips! Miss those clam digs of my childhood and my momma's clam chowder!
Try a little Horseradish in the dip, it adds a nice little kick to it.
Looks very yummy 😋 I love seafood dips ☺️
We canned our razor clams with a Smokey recipe. I can hardly wait to try your recipe with my Smokey canned razors

Looks delish! Have you tried smoking the razor clams on your Traeger? That would be great to see. 🦪
