Actually it's FireBug, who is basically firefly but he was introduced in the 40's so that's why they are going with him, because this show takes place then.

@@xdestron creative producers often have say on story (IE Bruce Timm himself). I have producer friends that bring a lot of ideas to the table. Bringing a talent like Ed in just to give money wouldn’t make much sense, when there are people with far deeper pockets

Perfection. The animation, the violence, and most of all, Batman's voice acting, perfection. He sounds exactly like Kevin Conroy, the legacy lives on.

A darker and more retro Harley Quinn and *Onomatopoeia?!?!?!?!* Only real ones know who that is. This looks amazing, does a great job showing a dark but very retro styled Gotham City. This one will be cherished.

Jeremy Sisto's voice would fit this version of Batman perfectly as he voiced an earlier period version of Batman in Justice Legue: New Frontier. That being said, I'm guessing Hamish was cast just as well for Bruce as he was for Batman

This is sick! I’ve been wanting to see a new batman show for a while, this Batman voice actor sounds so much like Kevin Conroy in my opinion, Rest in peace to him. The animation is also so crisp and clean, I’m hyped for this show!

Story and setting looks good but the art style is missing the sauce. Maybe if the shadows were darker or lights more harsh. No shot stood out as iconic or memorable.

Adam west, Keaton, Robert, bale is amazing, Kevin is amazing. As well as Jason omara. And the Batman, 2004 theme is the best. Favorite batmobile has to be MK-1. (The batman, 2004) Batman is the most realistic hero. He’s amazing all around. R.I.P. Kevin Conroy. And Adam west. And now, to add the list of this Batman. Very well done, even though it hasn’t come yet.
The retro aesthetic and its great atmosphere look dark. And Batman's voice leaned into her. And it gives a way to still ideate with the voice of Kevin Conroy. That will never be forgotten.
Considering how good the new superman show has been has made me kinda want to see if this is the same universe. Cause I would like something like that again.

Feels like it's '92 and I'm rushing home from school to watch a episode of the Batman Animated series on my 24 inch "tubed" television with the wire hanger antenna. (Those were the days) Man what a time to be alive.
The new voice for Batman makes me appreciate Kevin Conroy even more. Hamish Linklater's Batman sounds forced but Kevin's voice felt real. Hamish isn't bad but I hope he can grow into the character & get some more power behind his line delivery.

I do feel the modernized rules for past times is a little weird (like black women cops in 1930's given segregation, though cops were one of the few jobs irish got), but just hope they don't insult the audience. Hope Asian harley quinn doesn't mean no joker, or she is not tied down with poison ivy which derails them both as it's a different genre with that.

Okay, Two-Face is one of my favorite comic book antagonists _of all time._ I just love his story, his parallel to Batman himself, the tragedy of him, I always have, so I’ve gotten used to his appearance over the years, I don’t really react when seeing his burned side anymore. Yet somehow, the brief glimpse we got of the more realistic damage we’re getting here _genuinely_ made me flinch and shocked the hell outta me. Oh this is gonna be good!

I haven't felt this excited for a new Batman series in so long. Seems to be one where they're striking the right balance between dark and extravagent/humor. A little disappointed there's not gonna be a joker, but it seems like they got enough classic big name villains to balance out his absence.

His voice is breathier than Conroy's, but it's a better approximation than I ever thought they could get. Almost as good as the replacement they got for Scott Summers in X-Men 97.
So excited to finally get another Batman cartoon after years. And this one looks way darker too, can’t wait to see villains like Scarecrow and Clayface in this style

Perhaps this is only wishful thinking on my part, but I'm getting the same vibe i got from the first commercial from the original animated series way back when. That was: Man, This Is Gonna Be Good.

Looks good. As much as I like silver age stuff in general, Batman is one of the few that I preferred the golden age version of. This looks like it will cover that era nicely.
