There are a lot of restaurants and some more “established bars” but in general the nightlife is very young crowd. Check out some expat areas or retirement areas (saying it respectfully) like dorado, luquillo, etc. I know in condado they have some other areas but it’s pricy there. I’m mid 30s and I feel old sometimes out there lol
Puerto Rico is beautiful. The women are amazing. Try and control your heart. Staring into dark eyes surrounded by jet black hair can drive a man crazy. The Latinas are my weakness. Go to loiza Aldea. It is the more afro side. They'll have free Bomba and plena dances classes. All San Juan has is reggaeton. I'm too old for it. Enjoy!

My great-great grandfather was Chinese and born in San Juan, PR in 1868. There are plenty of Asians living on the island. I'm also a New Yorker. Born and raised.
