@First Name Last Name Tell me another reviewer who has traveled on such diverse terrains and kept on updating us on a daily basis? This is how Itchy Boots has made us all a witness of Himalayan's potential
That's only for people outside India which is only 5-10% of RE market. For Indians the name RE is enough. They don't need validations from white people to buy their bikes.
RE Himalayan succeeded globally because of its: 1. Value for Money 2. Ruggedness an durability of the machine 3. Fuel economy 4. Easy to ride & relaxed riding bike. 5. The bike can do everything a BIG adventure bike can do, and will do for a fraction of the cost of a big bike.
Somehow Still in its bs6 avatar, electrical issues still persists. Past variants have seen broken chassis too(thats a huge failure) I dont know if its solved now. People in leh ladakh themselves never recommend Himalayan due to the sole reason. Coneset issue is still there. All in all.. i couldn't convince myself to put my hard earned money on a bike that's so unreliable though i wanted it. So the few reason this bike sells so much- 1. Herd mentality towards RE stable 2. Its refined as compared to other inferior RE products which attracted some customers( barring the 650 twins) 3. Itchy boots🤣
Why spreading false information you dumbass. Every motorcycles faces some issues. There are not broken chasis anywhere to be seen. It was a batch problem that some bikes had in 2017 or something
I bought my bike last year. Replaced my engine head two times due to defect, now again going for third time. Bad quality and reliability. Never gonna buy an RE again.
Well my whole has been using REs from the last 20 years and I myself own an interceptor and himalayan I've never had any problem. Maybe it's just your bike because I do know some bikes come out detected from the factory
RE has lots of reliability issues. I sold TBTS in 3 years. My friends have also faced multiple issues with their bikes. No doubt I love to ride RE bikes, but owning them is a pain.
I used my electra 2012 for 8 years, I've ridden it hard , it didn't gave me much trouble, while one bulket in my society keeps breaking down often , he is jealous from me😂
I'm own a Himalayan BS6 the refinements is so good compared to BS4 model you just can feel it as soon as you power up the ignition and the riding comfort is really awesome I have completed 1600kms till now and highway riding was awesome I could do 350 kms in a single strech every thing is awesome about the bike. and don't expect to do cornering with this bike it's not built for that expect that this bike is awesome
Why i prefer RE Himalayan 411cc It rides smoothly upto 100 kmph speeds, which is perfect for Indian Roads. 411cc means it is just provides decent mileage on long tours, adding a 650 will decrease the mileage too much. 650 cc provides comfortable riding at speeds of 125 kmph , but are you actually going to ride at that speeds on Indian roads ? Are you going to take the 650 Interceptor/Continental to himalayas ? Himalayan just hits the sweet spot.
RE made a huge mistake by initially launching the bike with a carburettor but they sort of brushed it under the carpet by launching it with a fuel injected motor, while the carb customers were left complaining.
itchy boots made my mind up to by one they have faults but they dont cost much to fix my 2017 3000 km head stem bearings stuffed $30 fix my self the clutch will go and the stator at sum time but i still brought one they look good
I would bet that the success of "Itchy boots" has had a huge influence on the success of the bike. I would wonder how you could possibly leave her out of your list while Royal Enfield has definitely acknowledged her contribution by providing her latest bike gratis and loaning her another during her time back in Holland. Now there is a company that stands by their product and the people who are showcasing it all over the world for the pure enjoyment of motorcycling.
Nice Video Buddy, I live in a country where fixing a flat tire is a pain and highways have high speed.... Through you, I would like to request RE to please put the sixth gear and tubeless tires in Himalayan and Interceptor .......
I own the sleet one and don't feel like it's a huge success . RE needs to work on its after sales service as reliability is a huge issue. I have faced so many issues in different parts like in cone set or electronic failer on the very first time I took it towards the Himalayas. Trust issues with the bike made me come back without completing the trip.
Royal Enfield should award Noraly (itchy boots) for showing world what Himalayan is capable of. Because of corona Right now she is Nederland and will continue her journey from Argentina to Alaska, she reached Peru when corona forced her to suspend her adventure.
I own 2019.. do it all bike for all types of people..buy one for power forget it... it's a modern version...honda xl250r from the 1980s..well done RE....
He forgot to mention Itchy Boots for international recognition of the himalyan You know that the word Himalayan is synonymous to Itchy boots and worldly continental Adventure🤘
Will give the issues and things I like about them as a UK commuter owner. Have owned one for over a year, ridden for less than a year because of issue 1 Issues 1. Poor build quality. I know they are cheap but when this comes at the cost of build quality, maybe they should have focused on that and charged a little more, I would have preferred that. 1 years road only use, 3 quite dramatic faults, gasket failure, ear shifter came off, and the master slave cylinder has disintegrated, it is still in awaiting parts for this as it happened just as COVID shutdown came in. It does make me scared about owning this bike post warranty, when each failure will become costly. 1a. Linked to poor build quality is having things on the bike that simply don't work ever. Outside temperature gauge is an example. I would honestly rather not have one than have one that tells me it's mid summer weather while there is ice on the ground. If you can't be bothered to make it work, don't bother fitting it. 2. MotoGB warranty service. I was a few hundred miles overdue on a service when the gear shifter came off, their response, tough you pay it. Of course I should expect the bike to start falling to bits after just over 3,000 miles with only the initial service done. Nice to know they were concerned that this happened while I was travelling at 70mph too. I get the impression they were UKs cheapest warranty provider, they certainly should be, they are worse than useless. 3. Dealer network. The opening times of these is generally office hours with no courtesy bikes. Organising a service etc. is a real pain, and because of their 3,000 mile service interval they need this incredibly frequently. Family car with far more electrics etc. 19,000 miles between services. Any money you save on fule dealers will claim on services. 4. Fuel gauge delay. This tends to happen most after a fill up, so as long as you don't develop a leak if a pipe falls of or similar it's not too bad most of the time, it is however annoying. Fill up, seeing the fuel is right to the top, shows just over half full, ride to work from fuel station (over 20 miles for me), leave bike on side stand for full working day, start riding home, part way through ride home it will usually show a full tank. Best I have had was it showing full 10 miles after fill up, worst was following day after 50 miles riding and 24 hours on stand when not being ridden. 5. Cost. When something is made to a price at the expense of quality and service, price becomes an issue rather than a benefit. As an owner you have to be ready to be without a bike at any time, when it is your commute vehicle, not having it becomes costly and you wish it had been more expensive and better made. I will not buy another Enfield because they have put price so far ahead of quality. These quality and service issues are a real shame, because if they'd focused on quality the list below would mean I would never want to buy anything other than another Enfield. 1. Built for real world speeds. I ride along roads with frequent speed checks, I need my licence far more than the ability to travel at over 100mph. 80 is flat out and not comfortable, shakes quite a bit and generally not a good idea, I've only done this a couple of times when riding into a head wind that dropped without me easing off. At 70mph it is comfortable and confident, so if I am happy riding I know I am legal and the only thing I have to worry about when seeing a camera van is the increased stupidity of cage dwellers rushing ot the next jam. 2. It's easy to control at any legal speed. I ride in all weathers, because workplaces don't close because of a bit of wind rain or snow, it copes with all of these comfortably, with the possible exception of strong headwinds which do sap power. I have been going uphill into a headwind maxingo out at 65, being a bit strange I found this funny. When the weather is worse, so is the traffic, so I appreciate the ease of control more in bad weather. Passing stationary traffic in rain and snow is great when you know you can focus on observations more than twitchy control. 3. Comfort. The riding position is great, the seat isn't the softest, but I don't get numb bum, so that's good. Peg and bar positioning is perfect. It can be adjusted but I really wouldn't bother. Sports bikes have gone into having the rider as an accessory perched on top of the bike as an impediment. Most enduros seem to have decided you need a massive engine and to be sat insanely far of the ground to give space for the long travel forks and oversized engine. The Himalyan is made to fit human beings, rather than make us try to fit around the manufacturers ego. The suspension is supple without being soggy. I travel to work on it feeling how smooth the roads are, then go out in the family car feeling how dreadfully maintained they are. The latter is the truth, but it's nicer to be fooled. 4. Take off. The weight is distributed a bit to the back and it's a single potter, so pulling away is quick and confident. Several bikers on bigger capacity bikes have been surprised how well I can get going and off the mark it has kept up with Teslas for a short while. Of course all the people you have beaten from 0 to 10 will catch you up by 40 if they have any power, but it's nice to have that initial go. It's quite amusing seeing new BMW or Audi owners (not drivers) looking stunned as the ancient looking thing is getting ahead of them off the mark. They generally feel the need to rev hard to get past after, I don't care and if I wanted to race properly I wouldn't have bought something so slow. 5. Makes people smile. People like it, which helps a lot. Being on something people don't like tends to mean they treat you as an obstacle,. I am not threatening or over the top so people tend to treat me better and have more consideration. There are exceptions of course, especially when filtering and someone who's genetics didn't give them enough for a happy marriage needs to prove their worth by getting in the way, but these are rare. Before the bike started going wrong, which for a new bike it does a lot, I really loved it. Because of the quality I genuinely regret buying it, which is a shame. For much of my life I was broke, so most of my bikes were old and battered. The worst of these didn't go wrong as much and as badly within a year of riding. In recent years I have done better and have been able to get 2 almost new bikes and this new Himalayan. The first was a Buell M2 Cyclone, as close as I would ever get to a HD, it was hilarious and immense fun. Not nearly as practical as the Himalyan, and more likely to lose my licence on it, but I enjoyed the 4 years I owned it for. Being a HD I expected issues, only 1 thing went wrong, rear cylinder head gasket blew, air cooled in line V twin, means front cylinder heats the air to cook the rear when pushing it. I had been on a track day and hooning around a lot. If a company as useless as HD can make a bike that does this well, Enfield should be able to. Finishing on a laugh. HD getting their target audience very wrong decided a good marketing slogan would be Remember 90% or Harley Davidsons ever made are still on the road. To which the biking fraternity, known for an element of sarcasm responded The other 10% actually got home

Hi there I'm not a huge tourer but I like this bike so much I was going to get a jawa42 n because of covid-19 I did not yet. What would u suggest between jawa42 n Himalayan? I never rode a Himalayan before 😅
Top reasons why RE Himalayan failed 1. Oil leak from engine 2. No tubeless tyre 3. Sound from gearbox and chain 4. Engine getting heated in traffic ( no liquid cooling )
Hi sir I love your bike informations but I like no about of aprilia RS 150 bike when should they will release the bike and when we will get that bike tell us about of that bike
Yes, it is doing quite good right now but I still think it is little bit under powered in highways and in BS6 avatar it is 2.4 lakhs on road, little bit pricey!
Noraly and her UA-cam show Itchy Boots did more to promote Royal Enfield than any one in history. It is shocking to me that Royal Enfield has not sponsored her.
everyone who is commenting that itchy-boot proved the reliability of himalyan then they must also watch those video very carefully. If you can afford service cost of her bike maintenance and about replacing all the put of the bike other than the frame then I believe you can own a bmw 1260gs.
It did? I'm Brazil this bike had so many issues that no one wants to buy any Royal Enfield anymore. Almost all owners have issues with the engine, the headlight support breaking and the speedometer that cannot hold water.
How many Royal Enfield owners here?

The Yamaha Fz25 is no doubt a great bike
But due to the lack of a sixth gear . The most disappointing is that a 249cc bike gets a 2 valve
RE made a huge mistake by initially launching the bike with a carburettor but they sort of brushed it under the carpet by launching it with a fuel injected motor, while the carb customers were left complaining.

Yeah
Will give the issues and things I like about them as a UK commuter owner. Have owned one for over a year, ridden for less than a year because of issue 1
Issues

Adventure motorcycles have spokes wheels , and tubless spoke rims are costly
@@eldhoseev4888 just check some of the best off road bikes Triumph Tiger or BMW has tubeless tyre with spoke wheel
@@ArunVinayakc then thinks about the price variation... Compairing 2 lakhs with 8 or 9 lakhs bikes?!! Wow

It's quite the opposite. A failure.
Make a video about 2020 dominar and why it succeed in Indian market
Very nice
Yes, it is doing quite good right now but I still think it is little bit under powered in highways and in BS6 avatar it is 2.4 lakhs on road, little bit pricey!
Yes I love this bike
I want to buy it soon
Tell something about dominar
can you make a detail review of RS 200
Can you make how Mahindra mojo became so successful..
Himlayan fans❤
Please make video on husqvarna motorcycles😍
Could you make the success story of Suzuki Gixxer series too?
Noraly and her UA-cam show Itchy Boots did more to promote Royal Enfield than any one in history. It is shocking to me that Royal Enfield has not sponsored her.
Please make a video on interceptor and GT as well
What about hero xpulse model to compare dis Himalaya??
Osm video sir
everyone who is commenting that itchy-boot proved the reliability of himalyan then they must also watch those video very carefully. If you can afford service cost of her bike maintenance and about replacing all the put of the bike other than the frame then I believe you can own a bmw 1260gs.
Could you please do a video on Karizma. 2003-2013
It did? I'm Brazil this bike had so many issues that no one wants to buy any Royal Enfield anymore.
Almost all owners have issues with the engine, the headlight support breaking and the speedometer that cannot hold water.
Better than my Activa 😎
My bike❤️❤️
