this was such a CLEAR explanation and illustration. Thank you for not complicating it!
Thank you for the feedback :D
nice one 🤙 already can’t wait for tomorrow’s session 😎
i'm competent in the white water now and looking to catch that first unbroken, but every time I go out the unbroken waves are so far out in deeper waters - trying to mentally get past it without getting spooked 😵💫
You could always try looking for a different beach or smaller conditions where the waves breaking closer to shore?
Such a great video and right where I’m at the advice about angling across the wave at take off was really needed going to try it out tomorrow 🏄♀️
Great to hear, please let me know how you go Megan. Good luck!
Hey Ryan! Love this video ❤️ could you make a video on how to contract, bend, and turn please?
Great suggestion Angie, thank you. Stoked you liked the video.
Yee!
The whitewater is great for working on popup but once you catch an unbroken wave it,s hard to look back..)
You can never go back!

Thank you!
Great Video :)!
Glad you enjoyed it
wow very useful
Thank you very much for the video! When you paddle into an unbroken wave, should you also paddle until the wave "takes" you (push you forward)?
Hi Karlene, yes, once you feel the wave is pushing you along you can stop paddling and transition to popping up 👌
@@TheSurfersJourney thanks so much!
South Port Beach
Or as we call it, “Going from Sarfing to Surfing”. 😂🤪🤙🏽
🏄♂️
👍
I just can’t find a beach where there are at least like 5 seconds of an unbroken wave, they just crash straightaway in maroubra.
Any practice is good practice, gotta take what you can get sometimes
