I love your analysis of these videos of everyday recreational players. It makes it so easy for us to understand. I hope in the future you get some clips of doubles players as the older guys like me watching are not playing singles. Thanks!
These new analysis video reviews are excellent Jeff. Like you say on this particular one yes, shots by Uri could be better (deeper in particular) but he stays in the point and most importantly, doesn't miss the backhand. How many times do we hear ' make your opponent make one more shot than you'. Well, here is proof of that. Applies to ANY level of tennis. Thanks Kevan
Jeff, you were in a good mood when analyzing this point. Uri's opponent was in control of the point all the way but the end, yet you found some positives out of this. Gotta give it to you. My view of Uri's play on this point is a more critical. I didn't think any of his shots put any pressure on his opponent and his opponent had nothing but ideal balls to hit. His opponent did miss the easy volley but even pros miss easy volleys. You said Uri needs to improve on his return of serve. I think if he doesn't get a better return he better be prepared to do a whole lot of running.
Jeff- Great video as always. Also, your fundamentals course is simply terrific! Question regarding footwork & especially backhands. I notice although there are tons of drills showing footwork along the baseline, the reality is most movement is more diagonal in nature (at least for me)! Specifically, I have a lot of trouble on deep wide backhands (I have a 2 hander) and transferring my weight FORWARD because I am running backward on the angle. Any thoughts are appreciated. Again, great stuff!

vubot1 yes!
What level was that? I think either 3.0 or 3.5?
