Assassin’s creed is a big part of my childhood. I remember when me and my best friend would go to his house and play brotherhood, 3, black flag, and several others after school for hours on end. Black flag is still easily my favorite
I remember going hunting with my dad in 2009. I was 15 years old, and the whole time I was in that tree stand, I knew my mother had picked up my AC 2 preorder in it’s beautiful tin case and everything, but it was at home. My dad couldn’t understand why I wanted to go home so badly, so I educated him on assassins creed in the middle of the woods and in turn he wanted to see the game. So we both rushed home to play. That was a great day. ❤
Revelations was disliked but it's the best AC game in terms of story and narrative by a long shot. It's my favorite AC game ever for this reason. It ended Ezio's trilogy perfectly. Ezio is a stupid, proud, vain teenager when we're introduced to him, and when he leaves us he's grown into a highly wise old man. It's rare we get to see a character grow and change and mature over his entire life like that.
Dude, I stayed at my Aunt's house that storm of October 2012 as she was the only one with power for a week (but no internet), so I begged my parents to drive to the only open gamestop in the county to get AC3 and spent the entire week off from school playing it nonstop. Glad to hear i wasnt the to one with that experience 😂
My family played lots of board games and told stories that year lol for some reason I always compare the weather every season to that storm specifically
Hello Matty. I've been up for almost 24 hours because my 7 month old daughter has been suffering seizures, and I just wanted to thank you for great content to continue my watch over in the middle of the night. Love you, brother.
Brotherhood's side missions tick all the boxes that appeal to me about secondary quests in general: they make sense within the story, have unique variations and give truly unique rewards (that parachute...🤩)
AC Brother hood has always been my fav ac game mainly because the mechanics are the best the game ever had and made being an assassin feel more rewarding. Also loved the story overall. The biggest surprise was how much I played the multi-player, lots of nights playing with my friends so so fun

Im literally playing odyssey while listening to this. I personally love it. I like having so much to do and its not as repetitive as it could of been. When it is its still just fun to take out enemies and sneak around.
Ive played every AC game and I think Odyssey might be the worst game in the series in my opinion. The main characters are extremely bland, the story is super predictable, being able to climb literally anything in the game makes it way too easy and makes you play on autopilot, the skill tree is a literal instant headache, the open world is insanely empty and uninspiring like I genuinely think the game falls short in every way. Mirage is a perfect example of how an AC game should be. Smaller map, immensely detailed, great AI, great stealth, brought back the traditional hidden ones story, awe inspiring soundtrack that melts your ears, no RPG witcher 3 clone knock off lol
@@eternalglow6483you've played all AC games and you think Odyssey is worse than Valhalla? As for being able to climb almost everywhere and the empty open world, that started with Origins. Yes, Odyssey can be repetitive, but so is Origins. Origins doesn't even have armor customization, while Odyssey has a huge variety of armors. Odyssey also has better conversation animations and camera angles. I'm not saying Origins is bad. But I just don't understand why Odyssey is hated while Origins is loved. I don't accept the "Odyssey is not an AC game" argument. If it's good, it's good.
One of the best, whenever I think of ac 1 and all the ezio games it just makes me smile man. The whole vibe of the first game was amazing, just walking around Jerusalem and Damascus in the medieval age was mind blowing and extremely immersive and the second one is just as good with one the best charecters in gaming ezio
I'm glad that you gave props to Syndicate. It gets so much shit, and while it does have its flaws, it's a beautiful game. When it came out, i didn't really watch or follow any gaming channels nor did i watch reviews, so i went into it completely unbiased and without any previously formed opinions, influences and information, and i absolutely loved it. The setting, the new additions to the formula, graphics with so many little details placed into the game. Heck, i can still hear the sound of Evie's shoes tapping on the glass as you run across the train station rooftops. One of my favorite moments was also searching for the music boxes by figuring out where the location is, just by viewing a picture that shows tiny bit of landmarks, which ends up with you running all over the city that seemed so lived in and taking in all the sights that it has to offer. Syndicate, Black Flag and AC2 will always be my favorites when it comes to the series.
Quality video man, no one's talking about old AC games these days. Glad you mentioned how the end of revelations was one of the best gaming moments of all time hahaha.. that shit still sits with me
Great memories with this franchise even if the most recent installments have fizzled out for me personally. I remember getting AC1 for my birthday in December of 2009 and liking then getting AC2 for Christmas and it blowing me away. The vibrant setting, the characters, the music, and the gameplay. All perfect. One of my all time favorite games.
Ezio and his story really defined assassins creed for me. I felt like the later entries after black flag lost that feeling that ezio so masterfully enriched the franchise with. But Origins, brought that back for me. Bayak was such a good protagonist and the way they dribble the assassins oath throughout the game with him and his beliefs constantly brought me back to Ezios story. Such a good game series.
My attachment to this series is insane at this point. I'll never forget when I fist saw the game informer reveal of AC1. I also come from an Italian home so my excitement for 2 was through the roof at the time. It was one of my first pre-orders. As the years have gone, I will say the series has lost its ultimate appeal, but I've never really hated one game over another, I've gotten them all and played through at least a few times. Great work on the vid Matty.
Some of the best games of my childhood were because of my dad buying some random game for me that he heard was good. Assassins Creed, Halo, Borderlands, Skyrim. Games I never thought I'd play but once I did I was addicted for life
Matty is truly a legend. Great commentary, great editing and production ! Work ethic and bringing childhood and current memories to arise! Thank you retro 🙏🏽💓👍🏽🐐
My first game was AC 3, i played it and was really obsessed with the convoy mini game where you trade supplies and redcoats will attack your convoy and you gotta go kill them and upgrading my holsters and everything was so fun, but still to this day my favorite game(s) will still be the ezio trilogy cause i got that right after playing ac 3 and this was when black flag was already out but i couldnt get it because it was too expensive. AC revelations will always be one of the greatest AC games. The theme is so nostalgic for me and I loved the story and how it was the final chapter in ezios life and getting to see altair and all that.
I still remember the day AC2 came out , I was maybe 13 browsing the games looking for it and someone’s mom was there too and starting asking me questions about it saying her son was looking for a certain game . I was like oh yeah that AC . I remember thinking I hope whoever she got it for enjoyed it how I did . I might have beating that day or the next day and man that ending of Minerva speaking too Desmond floored me and I was left waiting for more just like AC 1
maaaan, we were so happy and we didnt knew it by the time, Ezio is prime AC history, the best protagonist by far IMO. But all you said, hell ya... all this games AC 3, Black Flag, Unity, Syndicate I feel like if they waited a bit untill they polish them properly they wouldnt had got so much hate. Now look where we´re, Ubisoft doesnt give a damn about the hidden ones anymore. I grew up with this games and I hope we can some day take back that magic of mistery this storys use bring to the table. Awesome video Matty! Hope you talk more about AC in the future if its worth it ❤.
AC Brotherhood was my first introduction to AC, I'm from the UK and we have a shopping chain called Tesco, I remember going there and my dad buying this game. I had never experienced something so great, the world was so full then the story took me back as I was only a teenager so there was so much content for the time then I pretty much started my love for AC then. I also remember getting AC3 after watching videos for it and finally having it was an amazing experience especially with the revamped combat/parkour new story.
Say what you want about the state of assassins creed now, but the original games (1-3) is some of the most ambitious story telling in video games. Corey May was in his bag during those times
Still waiting for a big remake of the first one. That game was so mind blowing back then. And when talking about the RPG drive, I would say, that Greek Odyssey (that's what I call that game) is one of the best, biggest and most beautiful games I've played so far. I did spend multiple 100 hours in that game and still enjoying it.
syndicate has been one of my favs since it came out, and AC has been one of my fav series since the first one. Any syndicate love makes me so happy lol
I played AC2 and Brotherhood back in 2013. Right when I was playing Brotherhood, my gf and I went down to Rome! History buff as I am I had a period when I was studying the history of the Roman Empire. She bought me a tour around the Colosseum, Palatine Hill and the Forum for my birthday, and we spent a lot of days just walking around the city, which I fell in love with. I can say this to everyone that hasn't been there; Yes! Colosseum really is as big as they show it in AC Brotherhood! After being there for a few days, we went up to Florence. My God, what a beautiful city! And I went "see that building? I've climbed it" everywhere we went😂 That's 10 years ago now, and no trip has ever beaten that trip to Italy! I'm looking to going back there one of these days.
Bruhh I love how much you love games I enjoyed growing up bc most people I enjoy these games with isn’t around anymore it’s just good to know we still out here lol
Assassins creed 3 came out a day after hurricane Sandy hit NY. I was working for Best Buy at the time. Sad for the devastation Sandy caused but happy to be off from work so I could play that game. Core gaming memory for me as well.
I know the series gets clowned on a lot these days, but I have a lot of fond memories pre Assassins Creed Origins. I use to always get the new assassins creed for Christmas growing up and would play through each of the games right before Christmas in order to build anticipation and excitement. After playing Syndicate, I gave up on that tradition since I was seriously burnt out at that point, plus there were just too many AC games by then. AC2 was some of the most fun I had playing a new assassin’s creed for the first time. I was very interested in colonial history, so AC3 really drew me in on my first play through. Although looking back, the gameplay was very rough around the edges. AC4 was one where I did not enjoy it the first time, but after my second play through it turned into one of my favorites. I would say Unity was the last Assassins Creed I played where I really felt that new assassins creed game hype. Syndicate was good but I was burnt out from the series by that point.
I started playing AC3 a few days ago as I only played through it once back when it was released, whereas I've played every other classic style AC game at least twice. Coming from recently playing Odyssey and Valhalla before that, I forget just how much parkour has been pushed aside. It's just a minor thing, but in Assassins Creed 3 I've actually found myself stopping, and looking for the best path to take to avoid guards, move as efficiently as possible, and collect things in-between my destination. Rock faces and cliffs are actually obstacles you need to think about, and while I didn't like it back in the day, the use of trees is really cool. 100 hours of Odyssey, 250 on Valhalla and 50 hours on Origins made me completely forget there was a time where you had to think about the parkour system, I'm that used to just running in a straight line to the objective marker and nothing stops me besides the open ocean that parkour became sort of a joke, and that's before getting into how towns are designed without parkour in mind now (Valhalla being the worst offender, where I didn't feel like I was doing anything remotely Assassin like until I reached Paris in the DLC.... 200 hours in). Only maybe halfway through AC3, but it's shot right up in my list, not quite the Ezio trilogy but it retains that feel better than anything after it, besides maybe Unity.
I am *BEYOND surprised* that you enjoyed Assassin's Creed 3. I did *NOT* see that coming. Respect. The Assassin's Creed franchise is, hands down, my most favorite game franchise of all time. I can wax poetic about it for HOURS!! Never once have I ever experience fatigue with this series before. And I've played them more than most. I discovered Assassin's Creed a few months before Assassin's Creed 3 came out. I was in a GameStop when a commercial for Assassin's Creed 3 dropped and I was in awe. "How did I mever hear about this series?!" I thought to myself. I bought the first game, used, at GameStop right then and there. And went hime to play it. I thoroughly enjoyed the first one. But I didn't love it. Yet, once I completed it, the ending made me extremely excited to see what happened next. Assassin's Creed 2, as it turns out, my wife already owned on her PS3. (I played on the Xbox 360.) I hopped on her PS3 and played Assassin's Creed 2 and was *BLOWN AWAY!!!* So much so that when I finished it, I went and got another copy for the Xbox 360 and played it again! Then I got to Assassin's Creed Brotherhood. And, maaaaaaan... look. To me, the quality gap between AC1 and AC2 was the same as the gap between AC2 and AC Brotherhood!! I absolutely *LOVED* that game!! Then I immediately hopped into Assassin's Creed Revelations. And loved that one to pieces. I koved it more than AC Brotherhood, but not by much. Of the Ezio trilogy, Revelations is my favorite entry. And then, what I had been waiting for this entire time, my coup de grâce, Assassin's Creed 3. I fell head-over-heels in love with that game. *Ratonhnhaké:ton INSTANTLY became my favorite Assassin!!* His story was just so thrilling to me. And the COMBAT!! Oh, my god, the co.bat was just *exhilarating!!!* And to top it off, this game had an expansion DLC that was also so gotdamn hood, too!! From then on, I would replay ever Assassin's Creed game every year before the next one dropped; typically starting in the summer. So before Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag came out, I replayed 1, 2, Brotherhood, Revelations, and 3. And before AC Rogue and Unity came out, I played 1-4 first. Before Syndicate dropped, I replayed AC1 through Unity first. And did it again with Assassin's Creed Origins. (Stopped there because it the replays of all of those games became too time consuming, and my backlog started building up animosity against me. 😬) Never got tired of the franchise. *Never* got burned out. I played Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag next. I liked it a lot, but I did not kove it. I didn't like Edward Kenway, and I did not love the pirate story. I just liked it. I saw it as the weakest story of the series thus far. (And still do till this day, actually.) But it was still a fun game. And I did genuinely like it. &But AC4's expansion, Freedom Cry, made AC4:BF completely worth it to me!! I absolutely *LOVED that story!!!* So much so that I had to separate Freedom Cry from Black Flag and make that my second-favorite (third-favorite after AC Rogue came out) entry of the series. Had it been longer, it would have been higher up on that list. Assassin's Creed Rogue was a surprise hit to me. Without being prepared, it became my second-favorite entry. Hands down. Absolutely loved it. Assassin's Creed Unity was... great. I liked it a whole lot, but didn't care for the love story.... the first time I played it. It grew on me in subsequent playthroughs and now I really like it. But what *REALLY MADE THE GAME GREAT TO ME* was the Co-Op gameplay!!! I am a HUGE Co-Op fan, so fombining my favorite style of gameplay to my favorite franchise sent me to heaven! Till this DAY, Assassin's Creed Unity has, for me. The highest fun factor of all of the franchise. Assassin's Creed Syndicate took me for a ride. By this point, I expected a miss by Ubisoft. But, NOPE!! They delivered to me yet again!! God, I loved thos game so damn much! Assassin's Creed Origins stepped in and showed OUT!! It was everything that I wanted minus Co-Op gameplay. 😂 Till this very day, it remains not only my most favorites Assassin's Creed game of all time, but my most favorite game of the 8th Console Generation. (Yep. It even beats out The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, putting that game in wnd place for me.) Assassin's Creed Odyssey was really. Really good. I loved it. Not as much as some other entries, but I DID indeed love the game. Then there was Assassin's Creed Valhalla. The only Assassin's Creed game I put off for a year plus due to the game being about Vikings. A group I have absolutely zero interest in. But, as a fan, eventually I did get around to it. I liked it. But did not love it. And I likely won't be playing that game ever again. Haven't played Assassin's Creed Mirage yet. But as it focuses on Basim, a character I am not interedyed in, that game is going on the backburner for other games that I al looking forward to this month instead. But I will get to it soon. Specifically, after I finish woth Spider-Man 2. Alright. That was a bit much. Seriously doubt you will see this. And even if you do, definiteky doubt you will real ALL of this. But just in case you do, thanks for reading all of this. Game on!
Oh. And in case anyone cared, this is my order of the franchise from favorite to least favorite: *1) Assassin's Creed Origins* 2) Assassin's Creed 3 3) Assassin's Creed: Rogue 4) Assassin's Creed: Freedom Cry 5) Assassin's Creed: Unity 6) Assassin's Creed: Syndicate 7) Assassin's Creed: Odyssey 8) Assassin's Creed: Revelations 9) Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood 10) Assassin's Creed 2 11) Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag 12) Assassin's Creed: Valhalla 13) Assassin's Creed And that's my list from greatest to least greatest to me. 😁
I remember buying an Xbox digital code for unity about 3 months after it released. A guy sold it to me for $5 and it ended up being one of my favorite AC games. All the patches had already dropped so the game ran pretty much flawlessly for me.
I remember when the first AC came out, i was in high school and me and some buddies had a game where we’d sneak up behind one another and “assassinated” one another by poking our hands in each others backs lmao
In Black Flag, Abstergo isn't visiting memories for the sake of movies, they are searching people who have a history with the pretense that it's for a movie, but the templars still have their goals
Oh my, impressive man. Good job on the video. Pretty mamoth task taking on the entire franchise. Ive been playing syndicate lately and it's been a lot of fun. Not really interested in mirage unfortunately but I hope they lean into some of the core elements of older games in the future
Thank you for refreshing my memory with one of the franchise that I used to love. I pretty much agree about AC Syndicate, it's not the best in terms of story and AC lore, but I think it's the most fun. We can ride and steal cart, getting other gang to chase us, etc.. Man I miss those time lol
When I played Syndicate on my ps4 back in 2015, i kid you not, the game crashed right when I was getting into the final room for the end of the game. No idea why it happened but that is a small memory I still recall to this day.
Man the moment they revealed it was going to be during the American revolution. It’s only real downfall was I think how it ended Desmond but still let the ‘story’ proceed and just become crazy and eventually b lined totally. Took awhile to get into it but it was such a nice change from Ezio
A little fun fact here, AC Revelations on PS3 actually included Assassin's Creed 1 on the Disc FOR FREE, like some later Collections and such on PS3 you have a second option with the AC Revelations Disc under "Game" on the XMB which will Install AC1 fully (so about 8GB) and then you can play that game when you have the AC Revelations Disc inserted into the PS3
I still have fond memories of playing the 1st assassins creed as a kid and loved it. My mind was blown at the time and was instantly hooked 😄 Black Flag is probably my favourite though. Odyssey i was really enjoying too until my data got corrupt half way through haha, i have to replay that one some day
I still remember picking up 1 in 08. Like everyone else i was vlown away but it took me a while to love it. I moved from 3 to Origins but went back to the ones i missed in the last 2 years and it's a lot of fun still. I miss Desmond. Will the modern day war ever happen?
Roaming and completing things in AC:Origins as I watch this. Only games i missed was Origins and Rogue. Still need to play rogue but I really do hope when I play mirage and later this year maybe shadows that its still good. History is my favorite genre when I was in high school and to play with history and see who was on the Assassins and Templars side was incredible.
Funny you said that, I asked for moddern warfare 2 that Christmas and got AC2 and was disappointed untill i played it that night, one of my favorite memories with the series.
To your point about the present day stuff in ac 4 black flag being about Abstergo using the animus to make movies, i think it’s explained that it was really just a front for the Templars secret mission to find old Isu locations and artefacts like the observatory in black flag.
This was my favorite game as a kid. I couldn't wait for the next AC to progress through the story. I thought I would be playing this series forever and sharing the AC journey with my future kids. However that didn't happen because Ubisoft got greedy.
Replaying the ezio trilogy right now. I still remember seing the AC2 gameplay demo and thinking this will be the greatest game ever made I hold it as one of the greatest sequels ever made
I remember as a kid my sister getting AC1 in 2007 when i was 10. I played it a ton, died a ton because I'd just spam the attack button rather than the counter and i never made it to the end. AC1 feels extremely unique of a game compared to the rest of them. I cant put my finger on it. But it just feels different. I did eventually beat it years later. Only once though. And i gotta say whatever city had long lines of people going into and out of the city, i loved pushing them all over by riding my horse through them all. 😂. I still love it.
I've played Assassin's Creed 2 and Assassin's Creed Unity again as preparation for Assassin's Creed Mirage. still the best. Assassin's Creed III is the best Story game after 2
Assassin's Creed is one of my favorite series with some of my favorite character arcs. But I can't lie Odyssey is my favorite and going back to the older ones is so hard with their restricted movement and by the numbers combat. Would love to see a greater focus on the assassins in future stories but I'm happy with the direction these games have progressed.
For me Origins is the best one of the new era. Odyssey was nice but the super powers irked me a bit. Valhalla was just too damn big and I totally gave up on it. Now movement wise, Unity is hands down the best
I love Creed 3. I never realized a couple creed games could be played in 3D until recently, I tried Arkham Asylum. I picked up a great pair of 3d glasses on Amazon for $6. Pretty cool.
This is the biggest video we've ever produced on the channel! I hope you enjoy and, if you do, consider sharing it a little. It would mean a lot! ❤
We appreciate your hard work! ❤️
I’d love more of it tbh Matty.

Your videos are great. You definitely put the work in. Assassin's Creed is my favorite series.
This was a fantastic video Matty! Thank you!
Some of the best games of my childhood were because of my dad buying some random game for me that he heard was good. Assassins Creed, Halo, Borderlands, Skyrim. Games I never thought I'd play but once I did I was addicted for life
This is incredible for such a small channel, keep it up!
I wouldn’t exactly say 150k is small just understated
Matty is truly a legend. Great commentary, great editing and production ! Work ethic and bringing childhood and current memories to arise! Thank you retro 🙏🏽💓👍🏽🐐
As a history buff, AC games will always hold a special place in my heart
It’s literally one of the coolest aspects of ac games
love this channel so much ❤️
Matty the work you do on this channel is absolutely nuts! Well done!
Thank you maddy, the soundtrack and game is huge nostalgia
My first game was AC 3, i played it and was really obsessed with the convoy mini game where you trade supplies and redcoats will attack your convoy and you gotta go kill them and upgrading my holsters and everything was so fun, but still to this day my favorite game(s) will still be the ezio trilogy cause i got that right after playing ac 3 and this was when black flag was already out but i couldnt get it because it was too expensive. AC revelations will always be one of the greatest AC games. The theme is so nostalgic for me and I loved the story and how it was the final chapter in ezios life and getting to see altair and all that.
Thank you for uploading this video, I really enjoyed it since I’m a huge fan of the old games.
I fucking love this channel, man ❤
I still remember the day AC2 came out , I was maybe 13 browsing the games looking for it and someone’s mom was there too and starting asking me questions about it saying her son was looking for a certain game .
That story with your mom getting you AC2 warms my heart. Thank you for sharing that Matty ❤️🩹
origins, odessey, and valhalla are goated games
Say what you want about the state of assassins creed now, but the original games (1-3) is some of the most ambitious story telling in video games. Corey May was in his bag during those times
Still waiting for a big remake of the first one. That game was so mind blowing back then.
And when talking about the RPG drive, I would say, that Greek Odyssey (that's what I call that game) is one of the best, biggest and most beautiful games I've played so far. I did spend multiple 100 hours in that game and still enjoying it.
I absolutely LOVED the long form content offering with this video. What a good time. Thanks, matty!
syndicate has been one of my favs since it came out, and AC has been one of my fav series since the first one. Any syndicate love makes me so happy lol
I loved the Frye twins, especially together, their chemistry was funny and charming.
I've climbed it" everywhere we went😂
That's 10 years ago now, and no trip has ever beaten that trip to Italy! I'm looking to going back there one of these days.
Great video Matty. Really enjoyed it.
Bruhh I love how much you love games I enjoyed growing up bc most people I enjoy these games with isn’t around anymore it’s just good to know we still out here lol
thank you for this Mat mat.
The snowstorm story about ac3 brought me back. Rented the game from redbox and played it during the same snowstorm and beat it in one weekend.
Currently have an itch to replay one of the AC games, this video definitely helped me decide which one to play
Brotherhood is my favorite. The multiplayer was awesome bring it back!
Never got tired of the franchise.
(Yep. It even beats out The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, putting that game in wnd place for me.)
Assassin's Creed Odyssey was really.
Game on!
Oh. And in case anyone cared, this is my order of the franchise from favorite to least favorite:
*1) Assassin's Creed Origins*
2) Assassin's Creed 3
3) Assassin's Creed: Rogue
4) Assassin's Creed: Freedom Cry
5) Assassin's Creed: Unity
6) Assassin's Creed: Syndicate
7) Assassin's Creed: Odyssey
8) Assassin's Creed: Revelations
9) Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood
10) Assassin's Creed 2
11) Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag
12) Assassin's Creed: Valhalla
13) Assassin's Creed
And that's my list from greatest to least greatest to me. 😁
I remember buying an Xbox digital code for unity about 3 months after it released. A guy sold it to me for $5 and it ended up being one of my favorite AC games. All the patches had already dropped so the game ran pretty much flawlessly for me.
I loved the multiplayer in both ac and bioshock really miss those days
You remember the good ones,
I'm with you brother. Damn valahala and odyssy btw
Black Flag was so much fun as a kid.
I remember when the first AC came out, i was in high school and me and some buddies had a game where we’d sneak up behind one another and “assassinated” one another by poking our hands in each others backs lmao
Great video!! Thanks for the content and inspiration
Assassin's creed top 5 gaming franchise, IMO
In Black Flag, Abstergo isn't visiting memories for the sake of movies, they are searching people who have a history with the pretense that it's for a movie, but the templars still have their goals
Oh my, impressive man. Good job on the video. Pretty mamoth task taking on the entire franchise. Ive been playing syndicate lately and it's been a lot of fun. Not really interested in mirage unfortunately but I hope they lean into some of the core elements of older games in the future
Jesper Kyd really created something immortal.
Ac 2 story and music is absolute magic
Ac 2 and brotherhood is my childhood!!
Assassins Creed 3 will always be my favorite. The hype behind it was unreal
Yup. I remember waiting for it after the epic ending of revelations. Brand new engine brand new hero etc etc🇮🇳👍
I have such fond memories of how pumped I was to play AC3. It such an exciting time and I was in love with the combat
Man the moment they revealed it was going to be during the American revolution. It’s only real downfall was I think how it ended Desmond but still let the ‘story’ proceed and just become crazy and eventually b lined totally. Took awhile to get into it but it was such a nice change from Ezio
not an AC fan but i love watching someone gush over games ☺️
A little fun fact here, AC Revelations on PS3 actually included Assassin's Creed 1 on the Disc FOR FREE, like some later Collections and such on PS3 you have a second option with the AC Revelations Disc under "Game" on the XMB which will Install AC1 fully (so about 8GB) and then you can play that game when you have the AC Revelations Disc inserted into the PS3
Thank you for the masterful production sir 🤘
I still have fond memories of playing the 1st assassins creed as a kid and loved it. My mind was blown at the time and was instantly hooked 😄 Black Flag is probably my favourite though. Odyssey i was really enjoying too until my data got corrupt half way through haha, i have to replay that one some day
Ac2 is my favorite game of all time. It's absolutely timeless
Assassins Creed 2 will always have a special place being the one I’ve played the most next to Black Flag as well.
Thought I was the only one who loved Bloodlines!
The first assassins creed came at the perfect time for me, it felt so mature at the time 😭
I still remember picking up 1 in 08.
My love for Black Flag and Origns is beyond anything
Funny you said that, I asked for moddern warfare 2 that Christmas and got AC2 and was disappointed untill i played it that night, one of my favorite memories with the series.
Ac Syndicate really deserves appreciation. One of the best stealth
Love this series so much although I haven’t played the last 3. The hype for AC3 was insane for me, it didn’t meet expectations but I love it
Assassins creed Valhalla is my favorite, then odyssey, then Unity my top three.
To your point about the present day stuff in ac 4 black flag being about Abstergo using the animus to make movies, i think it’s explained that it was really just a front for the Templars secret mission to find old Isu locations and artefacts like the observatory in black flag.
I’m really looking forward to your review of mirage
The second half of AC3 after some stuff is unlocked, it is actually really good.
This was my favorite game as a kid. I couldn't wait for the next AC to progress through the story. I thought I would be playing this series forever and sharing the AC journey with my future kids. However that didn't happen because Ubisoft got greedy.
Replaying the ezio trilogy right now. I still remember seing the AC2 gameplay demo and thinking this will be the greatest game ever made I hold it as one of the greatest sequels ever made
I love syndicate
Assassin's Creed III is the best Story game after 2
My first AC game was Revelations, which is still a top 10 game ever in my opinion. Black flag is my 2nd fav AC game and also in my top 10
Great video topic. I also will never not love Ezio’s family theme. 🖤
I love Creed 3. I never realized a couple creed games could be played in 3D until recently, I tried Arkham Asylum. I picked up a great pair of 3d glasses on Amazon for $6. Pretty cool.
