In all honesty, just do those interviews in japanese and put subtitles in. It's hard to listen to a guy who is searching for words.

Regarding the last question, I would love to see them work some magic on the Honda E. Short-ish wheelbase, rear-wheel-drive, really low centre of gravity, plenty of torque... should be plenty of potential!

Thats actually not the truth. FK8 has VTEC mechanism. It just works for a different purpose. It helps spool up the turbo quicker in low rpm range. It is located at the exhaust side only.

We hope that in the future there will still be petrol engine rwd cars with manual gearbox for enthusiasts. Customers who want this kind of cars are still many from all over the world even if they are part of a niche. It is certainly not this niche of enthusiast that ruins the planet.
I can’t stop looking to that FD2 though 👀 the best Type R ever 🔥 🇯🇵
What should I get: CL7 Euro R / Integra DC5? DC2/EK9(?) and FD2 are even more ridiculously priced
@@golf1diesel the EK9 is overrated. That B16b lacks a lot of torque. The CL7 got a very nice engine, and it’s a good option if you need a bigger car. It’s not a Type R though. The DC2 is probably the most pure Type R, but I wouldn’t buy it, I prefer the K20A. The DC5 is very good, but the FD2 is on another level, the car is virtually perfect. Worth every penny.

@@respirotyper929 yes man but it's 20000 pounds. I have a modded FN2 now,I know the fd2 is better although a little similar.I am more attracted to analog stuff.I think the cl7(which has double wishbones and I like it's wolf in sheep clothing looks) has cable operated throttle if i'm not mistaken.I'd get a dc2 if they weren't so expensive.Dc5 puts me off cause of the front suspension(although I LOVE the shape more than the fd2 sedan) and prices are going up a lot too
@@golf1diesel I also got a FN2, plus it’s a Championship Edition. I love it, it’s a dream come true🤩. But still, the FD2 it’s my favorite Type R, I love the specs and it’s the only car I would consider buying at this point if I had the money. I don’t think it’s worth to change the FN2 for the others cars that you mentioned. The FN2 got a lot o potential to explore, it the right mods it’s really good.
Good brakes, LSD, exhaust, intake, FD2 oil pump and a remap and you got yourself one of the best NA Type R’s, very beautiful and practical also imo.
@@golf1diesel anyways, FD2 all day(if it’s not the FN2). Just my opinion and preference.
I would like to hear different questions asked about Spoon besides the usual things - in what seems like every interview or coverage on YT. Something like their experience involved in shows like Hotversion, or how about if they would consider bringing some parts back like the Spoon Cluster or their cams for the B series? Or like what happened to their famous 10,000 rpm ek9?
I think they sold that Ek9?
Probably why they bought and build another one maybe?...

the end of the gasoline cars is coming sooner or latter, just enjoy until then. Not saying electric is bad, but righ now is "weird" for me to drive a car without sound or manual. But those things can get fixed like many makers alredy done it.
Agreed.I want to enjoy a manual high reving N/A engine over artificial high powered turbo dual clutches until they all get forbidden.

Can you do a video on the ep3? Why is it the most disliked civic, or a general video on it?
Check out Motoiq's video about the EP3's suspension, that's one of the car's major flaws and likely one of the reasons for the distaste towards it.

electric vehicles in 10 years thats insane. no way everybody can or will transition into electric. how about the gasoline cars thats still in the streets? what will happen to them if gasoline isnt provided anymore?
Wel they aren’t going to ban gas cars. Just new gas cars. But You are correct the problem with electric for everyone is that electric only works if you own a home. People that are renting can’t charge their vehicles. I believe that hybrid technology is still on the table
