Swim a grub on a jighead. Sounds like a joke but trust me it’s killer. A 3-4 inch grub can kill it. I like using the owner ultra head wacky on a grub. It weighs enough to cast and stay in the right position but still has a light weed guard to keep it out of grass and snags. Also the Rapala Rocco is a super cool new wide wobble squarebill by Rapala
I'm going to hopefully get some of the clicking berkley frittsides, think those should be some fish catchers. If you like a rapala dt6 maybe try the bill lewis mr6 very similar but made of plastic with a louder deep rattle.
Interested to see how that Manns crankbait does. Bought the smaller version from Bass Pro and it was straight DOO DOO. I rarely throw baits away but that small wake bait had absolutely no action.
Lol I'm one of those guys. The Berkley package is easy to open. Just bend the corner it'll pop the glue. then just run your finger under it and unfold.
shimano has been making baits for a while now they even make saltwater lures as well and thats what they made first actually. Just not talked about much those macbeths tho are a great squarebill and the Macbeth flatside is even better they have a circuit board lip and when twitched they do a 180 its pretty sick.
the Mc Beth line of cranks is AMAZING shimano and daiwa have an INSANE about of hard, wire, and soft baits over in japan I have been buying and importing them for a long time and there are def some winners and some losers lol
Have you looked at or thought about trying the SuWitch from Megabass? I grabbed one from hookuptackle and it looks pretty great. Definitely can’t wait to try it out.
@@aaanglers some of the jerkbaits are less then the ones you showed today. Also the lucky craft 1.5 only 6.99 compared to other pricing 9.99 or 11.99 ?
@@marthahurtado1320 then how do we do a video seing if the price is worth it? The vision 110 was what I assumed you were referring to. Or the higher end pointer from LC. All their stuff is good, so going with affordable megabass or LC is a good call for anyone
Ozark Trail $4 crank baits are amazing. Also, Maxx Bass (Meijer) square bills are amazing too. I caught my largest large mouth (22inch) on a white and chartreuse Maxx Bass square bill. Best part about these two brands? CHEAP & high quality. I also caught a 13lb bowfin in Max Bass.
I'll agree. Whoever Walmart is buying Ozark trail from is the same place one of the big name brands is. You get a lemon every now and again ( which they will exchange for a new one at any Walmart usually ) ..only issue is the colors. But I suspect by the way my local Wallyworld has upgraded..they now sell googan/Yamamoto ( I know he sold)/ and a lot of new brands... Although, they sell YoZuri, which honestly...for the money!!! Friggin awesome.baits/lures...have smallie.OB at Almost 5 lbs and 22 + inches.on a YoZuri twitch/jerk minnow .. many good bass on their poppers. As well as the crazy cranking craw they have ... wierd but cool.
What else should we be trying?
If you like chatterbaits try the teckel one it stays higher in the water and is really good. Has a totally different blade on it…

Megabass Z1 and Z2 are great for smallies and pair well with a spinning rod. They are light and come with #8 hooks.
Spro lil john
Academy has some really cool jerk bait under the H2O Express brand so far they're pretty darn good and awesome colors
My favorite crankbait color is the SPRO rock crawler in sparkle shad it is such a nice shad color
While Paul is off enjoying his vacation…you should go out and fish these as well!! He paid for them right?? 😊
Good call...never a bad day for a hwadstarty
I like Mann's Baby 1 minus it definitely catches fish.
Im excited for the money badger too! They are small though Thats probably why they work so well

I know you are changing the hooks on the Manns....good looking baits
The BX brat is super versatile. I like the regular 3 ft diver. If you burn it it will wobble super fast and has a similar feeling to a chatterbait
It's a fantastic squarebill, no doubt .
Extremely durable with the plastic coating
Only thing is switch the split ring to an oval . The circle split rings will get stuck between the bill.
@@440-fishermandrock8 true. I like to use a snap on the smaller ones but any bigger ones get oval rings
Excellent selection of baits Jeff and I will agree on the package 🤣🤣

those were some awesome looking baits for sure
The nomad has BKK hooks on it. My go to brand for trebles in Australia

Let’s gooo
Paul needs some color, other than translucent... hopefully he got a tan.
Never gonna happen. Tantalizingly translucent
Throwing those size 5 Money Badgers on a spinning rod?
I might
That fat papa is money. I don't know that many people use them. The ,55 is great also
Would like to see you do more lucky craft, megabass to see if the price is worth it. Or if the smaller less priced items do the same?
It’s not worth it lol. We’ve tried em. Rather get 3 baits for the price of one megabass
@@aaanglers isn't MB a sponsor???? Lol..I'd agree though

The rapalas og. There not that durable. I broke a few last year.
How's he doing? Hopefully he didn't drink the water. To much sea food will clean ya out. Lol
He’s alive!
