Yes, that's what happens when you are trippin' balls cuz lack of hardware to access your DNA mapping for memories. Also notice how less realistic the Valhalla simulation looks like when entering it was Layla vs Eivor, since Layla knows what computer simulations are, so it looks more like high-quality VR stuff than actual real graphics, even when discounting the corruption over the millennia to the hardware/software parts, it looks flatter than IRL 3D is at parts

2 years late, but its not 100% canon. Odin tweaks the memories both so that Eivor can understand them better and also to gain sympathy from him. Odin ultimately wants to take control from Eivor and is using these visions to that end.

We can see tension between the Isu pantheons. The Norse pantheon sought their own way to cheat the Catastrophe, stealing it from the Greek/Roman pantheon.
“Jotun” seems to be a catch-all term for both the other pantheons and the rebel humans and human/Isu hybrids.
The Celtic pantheon is teased with the Morrigan, their Barracks and Excalibur, but we don’t know a lot about them yet.

All the same species, just different races and ethnic groups like us humans have. You are correct though. From the Norse eyes, the Aesir called the Greeks the Jotun or Jotnar. Hence why Enlil/Zeus/Tinia/Jupiter/Indra plays Suttungr instead of Thor. It gets confusing when piecing together a multi layer puzzle full of manipulation, mistranslation, misinformation and disinformation. You should know however, that this is as clear cut of ‘unofficial’ truth we can get. What we are being taught in this game, comes directly from the real Assassins themselves. Ubisoft is being coached by the AKDN which is the front group for the Nizari Ismaili who are the Assassins. Its led by the Aga Khan, who is the descendent of Ali, the son in-law of Muhammad who was an Indo-Aryan of Pars (Persian nobility)- a contradiction to the phenotype the Arab supremacists push. The crescent was formed to originally guard against the cross, hence why the Quran contains knowledge the cross was erasing at the time hidden behind the religions veil. However the Sunni platform Muhammad established was corrupted by the cross after his death, resulting in Muhammad’s family being wiped out and Ali fleeing to the Indian subcontinent where he establish the Shia platform to counter.

Characters we know so far that we’re reincarnated:
Eivor as Odin, but Eivor successfully won against Odin and remained herself.
Sigurd as Tyr, who lost partially but not entirely, with sort of a mixed personality, Sigurd as dominant but Tyr, traits grafted onto him.
Halfdan Ragnarson as Thor, but with the lead poisoning we can assume something went wrong and Thor couldn’t take over.
Vala’s mother as Freya: somehow she got reincarnated sooner that the others, and she trapped herself in the Yggdrasil machine before Freya took over.
Basim as Loki: Complete takeover. Loki overwrote Basim, before or after he met Eivor is not certain. Might have been waiting for Odin to take over Eivor before getting his revenge, but also as an elaborate way to circumvent time and resurrect the rest of his Isu family, Alethia and their children Fenrir, (maybe) Hel and Jormungandur. Ambiguous, willing to use humans for his plan but also seems to side more with them than other Isu. Caution in future.

Eivor was able to access Odin's memories from drinking the seer's potions, however it is in the form of the Norse mythology as the Isu were long forgotten and such stories passed down as a religion. So what Eivor experienced in the dreams is like a Viking version of what really happened in the Isu period with Odin and gang. So...in the end Heimdall and Loki killing one another at Ragnarök was adapted into Loki killing Heimdall and the latter dying with the former's mask (Loki could not have died at Yggdrasil/ the dwell of Mimir as it survived the Tova catastrophe and the fetus with Isu DNA could be preserved).
I thought that it may also be that Heimdall, under his reincarnation in vikingr Rig Reidarasson was destined to kill Loki's reincarnation in Basim, as stated that the latter has killed the former. Reidarasson had the voices of Heimdall to travel to Constaninople and kill "a man in the shadows" (Hidden One), but failed. Perhaps Loki had time to read the noodles at Yggdrasil before the end of the First Catastrophe (unbeknowst to the Aesir and Vannir) and avoided going to Contantinople; hence why Reidarasson killed the wrong man. One has also to consider that their Isu memories may fail or ignore what happened to the others: Basim thought at first that Sigurd was Odin, but was surprised that it was Eivor.

    • @Ozzie_Mandias
      @Ozzie_Mandias 2 роки тому +5

That is because Odin cane back in a human chick. Sigurd came back as a male and therefore was more identifiable. He knew Sigurd was Tyr, but also deduced that given the circumstances... Odin's reincarnation will be drawn to his old buddy Tyr (currently Sigurd). He must've been looking for a guy in Sigurd's clan only to realize that Eivor is Odin.

@@josephstalin2606 Late to this band-wagon but this does seem the most plausible. However, Eivor "silencing" Odinn/Havi wasn't the reason Odin never took over. The wolf was. The bite in the beginning caused the Isu personality to be corrupted. so instead of being taken over by the Isu identity, Eivor was able to maintain control while Odin was left to only being able to be an "advisor." If we consult the Cairn stone dialogue, Eivor started hearing Odin whispering in her mind mere days after the bite. Also in the case of most sages (going off of Aita's sages) when their Isu personality is... "activated" for lack of a better word, they seem to go insane, such as the one during present day AC Black Flag, or Sigurd becoming unhinged. although more than likely, Aita's sages were more prone to insanity because of the state he was in while Juno was trying to save him (as in Aita begging for euthanasia). Going back to Eivor, the bite caused the Isu personality to not completely take root because she'd not grown enough.

The seal of the templars(the tree) could literally be the life tree Yggdrasil, Odin is LITERALLY the god of wisdom (the god of understanding, the father of understanding) we know that the actual root of the templars is in the Order of the Ancients, which was not based in christianity as the templars are after the arrival of King Aelfred of England as their grandmaster. We know Odin was an ISU he aspired for power and wisdom, values which align very well with the templars and he literally sacrificed his eye for wisdom, understanding, and the Abstergo logo is so similar to Valknut. It makes so much sense, the clues are all there Odin is very likely the Father of Understanding.

After the Isu, the Templars dropped the Mother and Voice roles to only preserve the Father role (per Aelfred breaking from the Order of Ancients because it didn't align with his Christian views).

While this occurs, Sutur (Sun) drives his flaming sword (CME) into Eden (Asgard) causing the great catastrophe detailed as the flood in the Book of Enoch. This flood is scientifically dated to be approximately 11,700 years when the Younger Dryas abruptly ended due to a significant rise in temperatures causing glacial ice to melt. Prior to this occurring, the genomic code of all life was uploaded into the life tree, known as Yggdrasil, which Noah transferred to the Ark which to be more precisely is a space ship.

I don't know why they had to make such a mystical look to Eivor's 'Asgard dreams.' To me, I think they should have made it look like the 'Isu' stuff anyway for a couple of reasons. 1) Eivor wouldn't know the difference, I mean, technically (s)he still doesn't know who they are despite practically everyone screaming it in their face, and 2) it would look awesome anyway. The Aleitheia(?) trials in Odyssey's Atlantis pack imo made it look interesting. Arthur C Clarke said: "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic" and I think that would be a cool twist to the Asgard 'myth' theme. I don't understand why otherwise, someone like Eivor's and even Sigurd seem to not remember a thing, but a character like that Assassin fellow who follows you does.

A new idea presented in this game is that the Isu weren’t a monolithic culture. When I first started playing these sequences I must say I was thinking what is this?!? But once I realised it’s the Isu and there’s some well known Isu characters who show up I was very invested and so glad to see Ubisoft bring back a story line. I do have some critique for it though like why does Layla, Shaun or Rebecca not mention anything about it? especially S&R with their past experience with the Isu and the catastrophe! I found that so odd and made it feel like it’s not important as Isu experiences in the past games! Other bits that I couldn’t wrap my head around was I thought Juno, Minerva and Jupiter were in the grand temple in America doing the experiments?

This was a one time reincarnation and this is probably why Odin was so eager to take control of Eivor but then Eivor won. Just like Basim/Loki who manipulated Layla all along so he can escape the grey and fall right on the Staff of Hermes so he can heal his millinium old body. I think only Aita was the only one who was reincarnated indefinitely by Juno, his wife who is also an Isu.

And the only Isu that have the cure would be the Greeco-Roman Isu, AKA. The Jotuns, Angrboda is Alethia, Juno is Hyrrokin, Jupiter is Suttngr, and Minerva is Gunlodr, and Loki is also apart of the Greeco-Roman Isu as is all of his children. Most likely manifestations of Juno and Aita's project Olympos project, thats why Fenrir is seen as a huge wolf. Thats why also why The norse isu and the Greeco-Roman Isu hate each other. The game implies that where Sigurd is reincarnation of Tyr, Basim is Loki, and Eivor is Odin. It would make sense that the story for the game only focuses on Odin's part in Ragnarok, of course they took the liberty of him finding a way to always survive the end.
