I really like how you show the chord in a floating diagram above with the x's and fret numbers. That helps so much.
Your style of teaching is excellent.
To many beginners, learning the guitar is frustrating, but with the proper instructions- like yours, it makes playing the guitar fun and enjoyable.
Also, this particular song by Link Wray is perfect for learning fundamental chords, and the descending pentatonic scale.

Thanks. I looked at some videos of Link playing Rumble and noticed he is using a Tele. Now, Eric, I went ahead and bought a copy of BIAB based on one of your recent videos. But now you've raised the ante. I've been thinking of getting a Telecaster but want an American Fender, so I need to save up. You are making it tough for me - keep up the good works.

Live versions show Link Wray using a Gibson SG, but he probably did use a Telecaster to record the song

The B7 chord needs an added F# on the first string with the 4th finger. You can hear it clearly in the original recording. That open E on the first string sounds terrible.

@@EricBlackmonGuitar No, you don't mute it in your video. You skip over the 6th string open E as you should, but you strum the 1st string open E right at 2:03 and that's a note that doesn't belong in a B7. All you need to do is fret the 1st string at the 2nd fret with your 4th finger and the chord will sound just like the original Link Wray recording. It's an easy chord to play, and in fact that's the way most chord charts show a B7.
Must be careful not to strum the high E string (F# note), when playing the D chord, or it will not sound right.
