    Very very useful information shared in this video.
    I faced a situation where a newly joined boss was intentionally toxic with entire team just because he wanted to replace all of us so that he can get his people in our places.
    In those days we were ignorant, less aware about these things.
    For four months we suffered the different types of mental tortures. Going to office was like going to hell. Two of our guys quitted even without another job in hand.
    After that I turned from a rat to a fierce tiger. I bunked office for two months.. developed an alternate source of income. HR team there was highly incompetent else I would have approached them.
    After two months I got a call from the chairman to meet him for 5 min to understand this issue
    I went to meet him and as I started speaking he extended the meeting time from 5 min to 90 min seeing the seriousness of the situation.
    He told me to join duty the next day in a different unit away from this toxic area and i came to know after few days that he took strong action on this toxic boss and all of us got justice.

    Yes, this happened me twice my life 3 times. Due to this I was about to quit the IT industry even before the beginning. In indian startup this is quite common. If you are delaying the output or failed to deliver. The boss will be destructive.

      I have been facing this issue from one year .. literally it takes out all the confidence level in me and feeling so stressed when dealing with this kind of people ..their comments leaves me in way I am lost of words with how to approach it how to talk to them .though it's a work environment but it affects personally .. due to this I feel like to quit IT job itself . I dont understand why ppl behave like this ..

    One more issue that I faced was as a new joinee my boss would not share relevant information that would make my work easy. Also, even I my boss new the solution to the problems, she would ask me to figure things out myself, which would waste my time and put me under stress. The feedbacks that came would sound more like unnecessary criticisms and blame.

    i quit my previous job due to toxic manager. he used to blame me , will reserve hike for his region people, i was mentally stressed bcoz of him. but very disappointment scenario is that HRs aware about his work culture but cudnt able to take steps , since he is senior in the organization.

    Even i am getting tired of one person who is my senior colleague, she stressess me so much even my sleep and food cycle changed a lot where, she iniatily keep quiet but at the end she'll blame everything on me that I did everything even though I had informed her about that every tym and I am getting stressed and health upset. I tried to confess my reporting manager but still they are like give us a proof, i have waited for 3 months but now its high tym I am about to quit job.

    I feel the same since sidekicks of managers are relaxing and inspite of being te highest performer still I couldn't change so I tracked my manager performance and updated to my boss's boss and now boss is working under me 😅😅😅😅😂😂😂😂 create your domination and never get dominated

    I'm working in a school. My Principal is a person who doesn't really know the Admin work profile at her level. She keeps says we have to finish the work and doesn't say how to or what to. But the management believes in her because she has 30 years of service in the field in another school as Teacher and joined at our school as Principal. She is toxic

    Hi sir, I was fired from a product company within 7 months where my technical lead mentioned low performance. So now I joined a service based mnc with low package. I came across your story on quora. I'm unable to digest now bcoz of package difference. I strived a hard in that company but couldn't able to perform well as I failed to impress my technical lead and manager. Also I don't have any particular passion.     I am working in educational institute ( Non aided polytechnic) since last 20 odd years. Initially I was not that much competent for teaching. But being academically good ( as far polytechnic is concerned) I developed myself & found interest as well as confident in teaching. My hurdles of teaching was that I use to teach deep but delivery was not that soft. Eventually I undergone some training of pedagogy and got some result. But when my institute stuck in less admissions problem because of unhealthy competition by new institutions & unprofessional practices. As a result we have to get admitted low percentage students to maintain revenue & salaries. Then I found more difficult because of students quality as cheap popular new faculties. Now in the end every semester some issues are raised against me fuelled by my colleague ( cheap popular) This is not as I have changed or improvising but due to toxic bosses ( HOD & Principal - who are elder to me) I have to face lot of heat unnecessary. How to come out this situation. I hope you will take this in next videos & give some suggestions/ guidence. Sorry for lengthy conversation/ comment.

    I have met with an accident while going to workplace and I m not able to type, and I m on leave still my bosses are pressurizing a lot to complete the already completed work.. Pointing out silly mistakes.. That work could be done by others too.. Totally unempathetic about my condition.. I m going to resign the day I will be able to go to workplace..!

    My problem is accepting every thing and inability to say wherever necessary. Trying to mitigate that. However, at the end of the day i have to follow my managers instructions. Not sure how to balance these two issues.

    Please make a video on how to deal with a toxic client who is your boss. Since you have experience in IT services, you will definitely relate with this. If the client is toxic, no one will be ready to listen to you unless you escalate to 100s of people in the org and then they will ask exact data points why you are blaming the client and still the best they will do is to release you from project but at the cost of spoiling your progression within the company

    My boss is targeting me without any reason, he always try to put me down infront of my junior colleagues, he is being rude with everyone in the office, i am the only who have always raised the question if he is misbehaving or yelling or getting angry without any reason.

    But what to do in case your reporting boss is part/head of decision making, policy and head of operations or might be director (it happens mostly in startups )where
    HR and mostly other deptt also work under him/her and they use to report him or her?

      The best thing to do in such a situation is to find a new company to work for. Toxic bosses and work culture are exactly why startups have such high attrition and face challenges in retaining staff.
      Employees are humiliated for silly reasons, JDs are never fixed and keep changing every day, and the fancy term they use for it is FLEXIBLE. No proper structures or procedures, if you are reporting to the CEO directly you are expected to take on all his problems.

      Good point.
      Answer is to increase our financial literacy during peace times and implement. I would suggest " from rat race to financial freedom" by Manoj Arora.
      It took me eight years to become financially free and today I work because I want to work.
      Now coming back to your query if the situation you mentioned exists than we may continue till a tolerable limit but than if required our position in life should be strong enought to quit instantly and still sleep peacefully. After that even if we work it should be because we want to and not because we need to.

      Try to find European based company. If you work with US based company like Accenture, deloitte etc, then they will make you to work like corporate slave and will take manager's side always.

    *HIKIkiKOMORI* : After entertaining such Toxic Sr.Managers for 6 months for Japanese Client, I rebelled for professionalism & my ethics matching with WeProb's values, but late HiFi Vulture-Cultured HR taken proofs, hidden under carpet, and thrown with family. While working, I has been feeling soulless with suicidal tendency, I has been facing pychological disorder - Hokikikori, I had no time, I failed to file ITR to new Disastrous failing portal released during Corona Crisis, missed renewals of Insurance, Driving Licenses... I had been facing this for last 3 years, due to WiPlo's Sr.ManAger's Cartel, who initially wanted me to work as ManAger to Harass Juniors & TLs, even if I was Architect. (with Architect Title due to R&D background in high ethics TATA group).
    There are many Toxicity & unprofessionalism, few more example
    1. expecting to serve client 24×7 hr and complain for Moonlight for Employees.
    2. Asking employees to be Mum in Media, and falsely complain for employees.
    3. Hire employee for 'Key' skill, replicate 'Key' in a year, throw with Poor rate.
    4. Asking Manager to compress task estimated for 10 days to 5 days in 1to1, then blaming inefficiency to engineers & Manager in public & asking to work FREE overtime & on weekends w/o Compensation...!!
    5. Asking Manager to disapprove Medical Leaves too.
    6. Recruiter promise relocation, once we shifted, later HR decline with reason of WFH ongoing !
    7. Joining Bonus is for joining Only, right ? But it comes with Year Condition, not to resign within year, but WiPlo HR forcefully resign behalf of you within 1 year ...?!
    8. WiPlo never reimbursed pending Expense during Notice period, also for those fired immediately for False Bad ratings - too never get 3 month notice pay..
    9. DM ask to come office in email, while giving free VadaPau in canteen, ask everyone bombard reasons for WFH ..!
    10. Shouting, scolding, belittling in daily status daily !
    11. Extending meetings of 15 minutes to 3+ hours !!
    Like WeProb, most ITCo System is so badly Vulture-Cultured, that You can't raise agaist Parasites to HR, Grievance too agaist, otherwise you with entire family will get screwed in Working City, and will fired.

    I am facing such problems but I am unable to do anything as the HR manager and my manager are sharing a good bond. All the people from team left thw organisation without serving any notice period because of teh mental health getting deteriorated day by day as well as 3 months of notice period. Also, she never accepts that there was something wrong happened with us. What to do is such cases?? I am surrounded with multiple problems and my mind is freezed what to do??

    There is wipro mysore in backup team there eis person called santhosh s k who is evil and worst person of everyone. He got the position by licking boot of his boss and he is expecting now his reportees to do the same but its more than boot licking you need sleep with him and talk with him during non shift hour so on

    Hello Sir, I got hired in a good product based company, but as I joined my role got changed and I was not enjoying the new role. My performance was also not going good. I decided to quit the firm as I was getting demotivated daily .Luckily I was able to secure a job within some days itself, but still my one failure always haunts me that I'm not a fit for good companies

    One of My colleague has been reworking on my reports and found that there were some error on it which would eventually lead to targets not being achieved.       I think, Your skill n expertise of the skill what needed. keep leaving and joining without distracting from the field might work. If you desperately stick for the job sake salary sake it hurts your mental life [actually present victims are what turns into toxic ones in future. We call them toxic, but do they accept as they are toxic, no. They have their version of justifications ]. people who are fairly good at skill they fight in confidence that somehow they will get back the job even if they have to leave from existing one.

    I faced all this issues in past year with 4 different companies.. None of them provide any solution.. Gave time gave feedback this that.. Nothing happened.. Left 4 companies within a year

    We have one such cartel in the company run by Mr. A.Boyapati as a director in Hyderabad, he is a complete mess being demoted recently, due to the practice of nasty politics with his reportees as well as his counterparts in the US. A person who thinks Hyderabad is only for telgus no other from India should work here. I have met several local here they are really good, he has a spoiled reputation delays and lack of getting deeper into the domain knowledge. Now he is left with a challenge of either learn or keep quiet and handle whatever is in plate. I hope he switch to other company rather spoiling culture here.

    This is very normal work culture for the Corporate MNCs. Some of the Super Sr. Specialist (MNC Celebrities) behaving so rude that if you ask something, about the task more than a once. They will hit you badly.
    Very bossy types and bad behaviour. To much obsessed with their rude attitude.
    How many times to leave the job?? Just because of this toxicity in the work culture. Nobody wants to become a slavery, just for earning the money. There is a compulsion as per the circumstances, that they serve their families, Pay Medical bills and EMIs. Also, the immense pressure of loaded work to be get complete within a due time without any applaud... 😢😢
    Hope if the Corporate MNCs can understand the problem of their employees..

    Mu company is very rude,they will work you for 4 extra hours and will not give overtime, they are not giving training and scolding for every mistake that occurs, what should I do?

    How to deal with a boss who came up by psycophancy 😢 does not even know very basics of our products or even how to write a simple mail. Please enlighten.
    Rule is: Work with a boss who knows more than you or at least equal to you. If not the boss will only do politics and no problem Wil be solved, neither can you grow.

    Yes I worked in AUto mobile Industry SPecially post 2014 i have been seeing toxic bosses only SPecially 2018 onwards saw most useless Marati Bahusaheb types of Bosses totally worth less !!!!THey wreked my career intentionally !!! totally cheap !! should have seen such videos few years ago !!!

    Very generic advise. Please dont listen to him. If your boss is shit just move on. New company new people and new environment. Its not your job to fix shit culture and then become part of it. Boomers did that. You shouldnt
