This was a very nice visit. I probably started knitting about the time you were born. We didn't have UA-cam or social media to help learn about yarns, projects, tools, techniques, or other knitters and designers back then. I learned from the girls down the hall at my college dorm when I was an exchange student then I took an adult education class at a vocational school. Watching all these changes has been a delight and challenge now that I am into my 60's. I love the technology and your contribution to my understanding of different processes. Thanks for this long video today. Keep sharing your ideas.
Just rewatching some videos. I hope you are doing well and knitting some lovely things. I have always loved your choice of colours in your projects. Take care.
I definitely agree that there isn't a need to be stressing out over "messing up" your knitting. Growing up, I've always been a perfectionist and high achiever, and I think that mindset is rooted in shame-believing that failing to perform is a reflection of *being* a failure myself. I've been doing a lot of work to separate my sense of self from how I believe others to perceive me, so I really admire and appreciate how thoughtful your response is. Maybe you noticed this while editing and intentionally included it in your video, but I really loved the sequence of your answers starting at 22:41. You mentioned that seamed garments are something that you want to do, and at the same time, there's a lot of fear around messing up. ... And then a few moments later, you're encouraging us to be bold and brave and confront the things that intimidate us! Honestly, I feel like I'm calling out myself in this comment because I can be so hypocritical when I harshly criticize myself for something that if another person had done the same thing, I wouldn't even think to judge them for it. (If that makes sense? I haven't woken up enough yet to be totally coherent so sorry for the run-ons) You seem to be very self-aware about how your anxiety around seaming is something you need to work through because developing that skill would align with your personal goals. Anyways, all this is to say that you are so cool!!! I appreciate the honesty and authenticity you demonstrated in this video, and I'm sending you all the best vibes!
I so appreciate and enjoy you and your channel! I laughed when you said you love winter! I moved from LA to Oregon, and I love winter and gloom! everyone shames me! however, I too am a homebody and this gives me such joy! I hope boys are happy and well! much love from Oregon!
Haha Purl through the pain! I’m a welder, and can relate to aches and pains (or just plain exhaustion) getting in the way of my knitting. Love what I do, though I often can’t wait to get home, curl up by the fire and get a few more rows in before bedtime. I really enjoyed knitting along with you. I struggle to get into podcasts while I knit, as I’m quite visual, but listening to you with the video alongside just seems like hanging out. Plus I find you so charming 😊 Thank you for sharing so much of yourself with all of us!
Keep making these videos! I have been knitting since I was probably 11 or 12. I will turn 70 this year. I am slowly losing the vision in my right eye. Not sure what the future holds for my left eye. I almost sold all my knitting stuff in a garage sale this year. I watched some of your videos, and was so inspired by you. Did not sell my supplies. I’m still knitting, and figuring it all out! Thank you so much !
You are such an affable person Caleb! I thoroughly enjoyed this time with you. I live in Toronto and I totally understand your love of public transit and the comfort of familiar strangers 😊
Just saw your video recommended in my UA-cam feed and was very happy that I watched. Your voice is very calm and pleasant to listen to and I enjoyed your honesty when answering viewers questions. I too am very hesitant to take on knitting requests and have only gifted items to my two very good friends but only when a pattern or yarn sparks my interest. I also gave many items away to charity prepandemic as I have lot of big box store yarn I purchased when I first started knitting and found out that most charities prefer acrylic yarns so it was gratifying. I am obsessed with designer Stephen West's designs and have joined in his MKALS sight unseen and have had a lot of fun sharing our experiences in the Westknits community. That being said I also love Melanie Berg and Martina Behm's designs as well as Justyna Lorkowska.
I finally finished knitting a heel while I watched you. It was my third attempt😂😂 and my usual go to heel. I have no idea why it was giving me trouble. I enjoyed learning more about you. It was your sock knitting video that got me back into knitting, so I am always happy when I see a new video come up.
I'm so happy to hear that my video inspired you to pick your needles back up! And yay for finishing that heel! Sometimes our projects just really want to put up a fight, don't they?! 🤣
Yes to your advice to knit a sweater for a baby first! I did just that, then I made a big-kid garment and now I'm finally working on an adult garments. Kudos to knitters who just go for it and start big but starting small helped me build confidence. I look forward to seeing your future video about using goodnotes for knitting patterns.
I did not know you were an iOS developer. Me too! Perhaps that's why I enjoy watching your content so much. I also appreciate your attention to detail when it comes to editing and putting together these videos.
I just love your videos! I feel like you are like a friend or brother the way you talk to us. You seam so comfortable in front of the camera. I envy that your first thing you knit was a sweater. I have been knitting a couple yrs longer than you and learned on youtube. I started with cowls, hats, shawls and socks I learned from earthtonesgirl she is so sweet and goes slow and explains in detail, so a great person to go to for first time socks. I think I might have to learn a sweater online so scared and feel like I would need to use too much brain power that I feel I can’t handle but I am just insecure lol. I will take your device and knit a sweater for a child. I do have a niece 7 months old so that should motivate me. Thanks so much you are a inspiration!
I am very impressed that you have moved to more advanced patterns. I have been knitting since I retired in 2010. I started garments by doing baby projects. Then, last year, I cast on to knit a sweater for myself. I am a curvy gal so it takes a LOT of yarn and a LOT of stitches. But now that I am 5 sweaters into my garment journey, I am emboldened. Thanks for the frank talk.
Thanks Caleb! I enjoyed learning a bit about you and your knitting. I can’t believe you’ve only been knitting since 2019...and without looking! I’m a beginner and have a very long way to go! Thanks again!
As I am knitting my first cardigan, this new video led me to watch your sweater video. I've been an occasional knitter for about 30 years and your videos are so motivating and informative. I doubt I would have attempted as much otherwise.
Hi Steve, I hope you are doing well. I am doing a research on male knitters. This is for my college project. I found a few people commenting under this video. Do you have time for a chat?
@@stevecorn7289 Thanks Steve, Could you please send me an email so we can continue the conversation there? My email is on my channel's About page. And let me know if you have another idea for another way of chatting. Thanks again.
I have the chia goo shorties as well. And like you I find that using them with this shortie cables is too stressful on my hands. Recently I’ve started casting on the neckline of my sweaters using the shortie tips and the 14” cable. I find that the shorter tip allows me to cast on the smaller circumference of the neck without stretching out the stitches. Then as I make the increases I can switch out the tips and cables as I need more length. I have found that the short tips don’t bother my hands on the longer cable. Love the chatty rambly videos. I like to just watch and knit and its almost like having a friend come knit with me. I’m a travel nurse, Living in hotels so I struggle to find local groups to knit with because of my weird schedule at the hospital and always being new to the area. Thanks for sharing your time and your knitting adventures with us
And yes!!! Winter really isn't that bad!! I'm from South Texas (and not Houston but near the Mexican border lol) and I visited Ukraine in January. I was so afraid that I would hate the cold but I loved wearing sweaters and socks indoors by the radiator and I loved seeing knitwear everywhere! (but i did strongly dislike the snow) I definitely wouldn't mind living in a colder climate for a few years but in the end I do love swampy hot climates. I just won't leave my palm trees.
I love what you were saying about knitting during meetings to keep your focus and can relate 100%! When I was in university I was knitting during every lecture where I basically had to sit and listen and not have an active role. It helped me to stay focused on the lecture and gave me this subtle level of motoric activity I needed to stay calm. Many years later I understood that I mainly did and still do this to cope with some minor ADHD symptoms concerning my sustained attention and arousal. So basically it's stimming. Thank you for the insight! ❤
I don’t usually add comments but I have had repetitive stress due to knitting etc. Do not ignore it. I had to stop knitting for years because of it. I have gotten back to it in the last few years due to finding the correct stretches with the help of chiropractic care. The best stretch I found recently on UA-cam is hand and arm stretches for climbers.
x.x I learned as a child and haven't been able to knit quickly. It takes me an obscene amount of time for any knit project no matter the size. I prefer to crochet most items but knit definitely has it's place for some items.
I am old enough to be your mom (my kids are 40, 37 and 33), but just started knitting in January. I love watching your videos (both my boys are software developers and one has a masters degree in Art and Technology so maybe that's why I relate). You are always so calmly enthusiastic and obviously passionate about your crafts. My mother was a knitter, but I never learned until recently (thank goodness for UA-cam). She made Christmas stockings for everyone in the family with their names on them, but 2 new great-grandbabies have been born since she passed so it has fallen to me to take up the challenge.
I only have a kitchen to dye with which is probably much much smaller than yours. I much say natural dying isn't actually that messy and it actually very fun and not toxic if you just stick with cream of tartar. Some dyes even work very well in cool baths with no chemicals.
I knit my current project as I watched this video. I love all your videos and recently used your alternating cast on for 1X1 ribbing. That was so helpful as I struggled with the tubular cast on. I love your aesthetic and your way of explaining things. Your videos are so nicely edited as well. Hi to Brian and the pups ❤️Thank you!
Love this Q & A session! Got a few rounds on my sweater while listening to you speak, and so great to hear all the things we have in common! I too do not gift knit, it really defeats the purpose of why I knit in the first place. I also find it so hard to rest my hands and wrists when they are aching and have found myself knitting through pain too!
I love making things too and crocheting is definitely for my mental health too. Your story is so inspiring. You lucked out on Brian btw. That's awesome and he also is a gardener. I learned gardening in 2020. Now I want to learn knitting and medicinal plants. When SHTF growing stuff is a good thing to know, especially medicinals. Being able to make fabric is good too of course. I'm a homebody too. I love to sit by a fire and crochet or roll paper beads. I make paper beads too.
Love your podcast! Looked for it as a result of watching Needles at the Ready who mention you a lot. I am impressed... for a relatively new knitter you are incredibly informative. Your podcast has a wonderful esthetic, the videography is great! I love your pattern recommendations as well as the products that you feature. Your presentation is charming, it definitely pulls the viewer in. Well done!
Thanks so much for being my "knitting buddy" on this cold Sunday morning!! Really enjoy all your videos( especially the chatty ones 😉); you always have interesting and valuable information to share. I find it fun to be learning and engaging with people such as yourself , Michael, Johnathon etc. who are the same age as my son. I used to gift knit a lot more but now it only happens when it suits me. My son has been waiting for an "Old Forge" blanket by Stephen West for a while now.!! LOL Take Care Caleb and Happy Knitting .
I hope you do get to Japan soon. Come visit the home of NORO Yarns and see not just the Electric Town but also the more crafts and creative centers, too!
I’m a new knitter and I found you thanks to the algorithm! I wanted to tell you your videos have been super helpful to me as a newbie and I really enjoy your vibe and the way you approach your knitting. I’m very similar in my approach as far as wanting to do something practical and creative during down time that actually gives me an end result! I’m hoping to put my phone down more often and pick up my WIP instead. Anyway, thanks for your videos!
This was fun! I'm working on the 2nd try of a sweater (Campanule on Ravelry)-- the first sweater ended up waaay too big because the yarn *bloomed*. I just happen to be working on the worked-flat part :D I also love sweaters. I'm a process knitter though, so I have sweaters that are interesting and I learned techniques (like shaping) but I don't wear them often. So they just live on the bottom shelf of my closet. Thank you for telling us you're from TX. You're so comfortable dropping the "y'all" but no real "Southern" accent so it was bugging me LOL Anyway, thanks for sharing! I'll watch your videos no matter how long they are; I always learn something new. Have you looked at Norwegian purling? It's amazing!
Very interesting video, Caleb. You may feel old, but I am twice as old, so 35 seems pretty young to me. Lol! I cast on and knit an inch a second Saltwater Newfoundland Grenfell Trigger Mitten for my son’s birthday (which is today, so he on,y gets half a present and a promise 🤭). Happy to knit with you!
Totally opposite. I now live in the California Bay Area and grew up in Wisconsin. I have had enough snow for a lifetime. Granted...I DO hate being super hot here during the summer...but if it's one or the other....I will take heat over snow!
Haha your answer for Summer/Winter reminds me a lot of myself, except that I like Summer even if I often kinda feel forced to go outside. I used to hate Winter, when I had to go to work Monday to Friday, but now I'm doing about 80% work from home and I love Winter for the exact same reasons you're giving.
I totally use crochet and knitting to help me stay focus. Since the lock down, I have been dependent on channels like yours to explore this craft and learn new skills.
Caleb I haven't seen any new videos. Just making sure y'all are okay and we'll. Enjoy what you do . Thru you I have challenged myself and have had a wonderful time. Hope you continue. Thank you
Oh my goodness, you totally need to release the hat pattern!! I couldn’t find ANY patterns on 2.75mm needles w/ fingering weight. I’m winging it 🤣 Also winter is the best! I’m from super hot Queensland, Australia and feel like I would die for year round winters 🤣 GENTLEMAN’S GUIDE IS SO GOOD OMG
i'm exactly the same when it comes to labels. Even as a small kid I always removed them from my clothes because I thought it was the weirdest thing ever to advertise for a company. And I find it's kind of a perverse twist that people sew it to their knitting to give it a more...refined finish (i guess?) when to me it makes it look, well almost cheap. But as you say, to each their own.
I never thought about logos on clothes as advertising for a company, I guess, but that's a great point! Makes me glad I don't really have any clothes with labels/logos 😜
at the end of the day, ads is what it really boils down to, if you ask me. It's saying "hey I can afford these designer clothes" and the very reason why ultra cheap or ultra expensive stuff doesn't have it. If I want a new shirt I can either go to H&M or Hermès.
Hi Caleb. Pretty soon, you'll have enough jumpers and scarves and socks, but still a stash of yarns you want to knit or crochet. Or blankets or throw rugs or knee rugs. Anyway family and friends are a good resource as recipients of items , which will give you justification for more or extra yarn. Dressing gowns. Beanies.
This was great!! I for one would super appreciate a video one day about how you use GoodNotes, as a fellow digital knitter who has patterns synced up between devices...
Well, you are inspiring. Makes me want to try to knit a sweater that has been on my bucket list for a while now. I have several new nieces and nephews coming into the world and would like to try something besides another blanket. I enjoyed the podcast. Hope to see more! Thank you 😊 💓
Damn -- I just found you and I can see that you haven't uploaded in a while. Come back! An unusually great channel without the lame tropes I'm getting so tired of. Handsome work, consistently great taste in your choices -- thank you for your work --
I enjoyed this format. I was happily knitting ( Harvest moon cardi by Heidi Kirrmaier)along with you as you answered questions. I was surprised when you said 30 minutes had gone by. I'm enjoying my project-it has an interesting pocket construction.
It was so nice spending time and knitting along with you. I have learned so much and been so inspired by your videos, you have a lot of great content. I'm just starting on the cowl of the one skein wonders video, I just finished the mittens which were so fun and went so fast. I also am a home body, love winter ( I live in Washington State😁), love to wear knit wear. Thank for being here for us. Take care, see you next time.
Just found your channel and love thus chat! I’m a Chicago girl living in Charlotte for the last 20 years and so miss winters cuz I love the excuse to stay in too😊
Thank you, I enjoyed listening while I undid 4 rows of my sweater. I nearly always knit seamed sweaters. I love stranded knit cardigans the best, especially fair Isle by British designers eg Marie Wallin and Martin Storey is another fave. I learned to knit at school when I was seven but I couldn't do it because I'd been away. I had to stand on a chair as punishment but luckily my big brother taught me the ropes at home. Luckily I was not deterred!
Thank you so much for your answers from your heart. I am new to knitting, have done a lot of unraveling, spent too much money on equipment and yarn but am still excited to learn by watching your videos. To comment on your wish to go to Japan. I spent a month in Japan as an adult in an exchange program subsidized by Tourism Alberta (Canada) and had all of the experiences on your wish list. A memory I’ll treasure always. I chuckle when you said Sushi is a favourite (mine too) however sushi in Japan in no way resembles what we are familiar with so that too is a new experience. I hope you have the opportunity to go and with your film making experience you could do an amazing documentary. Thanks again for all of your content and I’ll be looking forward to seeing you again.
I love working with De Rerum Natura! You should try them if you like a coarse thread. The colors are just on my palette (I'm knitting the Hide and Peak with Ulysse an it is very nice and easy to work with). Thank you for this video Caleb, it was so nice watching you and listening to you while knitting ;) cheers!
I took up knitting when my mother was passing to have something to bond with her over her last year. I have to say I really enjoy it and have a great memory because of it. I would enjoy having others to knit with at some point. It’s great that you and your partner share this hobby. Big hugz
Hi Steve, I hope you are doing well. I am a college student. I do a research on men who knit for my anthropology class. Do you think we can have a chat about your experience with knitting?
@@Yogabear123 Thank you Steven, Could you please send me an email so we can continue the conversation there? My email is on my channel's About page. I can also contact in another way you like. Thanks.
Nice to hear about your wishlist knitting. The Rift sweater would be good for you. It's knitted in the round waist up until the arms then front and back knitted flat an then connected at shoulder. I used the mattress stitch and it was stellar. Thanks Caleb.
Great Q&A video. Nice to learn a little more about you and your preferences in knitting. I love to knit while watching my favorite knitting UA-camrs. Looking forward to your next video.
I got the red Chaigoo interchangeable pouch and I’m making some socks right now with it (two circulars) I did NOT need the whole set either lol, BUT the pouch is soo nice looking and contained I could resist despite the $100 something price tag.
Started using your stash app last month and it's great. Thank you. The "do I gift knit" answer is pretty great. I really want to for close family, and I've taken on projects for people who 'lost' a mitt their late mom made... but I am getting far more interested in centering time to make pieces for my own wardrobe. Case in point, I'm finishing a tank top tee for spring and just watched your long tail tubular bind off to finish the 1x1 twisted rib hems. yay. Q: do you test knit for any designers?
So those tiny shorty needles are being used a hack instead of DPNs. They use the shortest cable and it takes the place of flexi... Flips? So basically a flexible dpn. U do need an extra set of tips tho. I don't know, I'm doing research on needles because I'm gonna buy some and don't want to buy a bunch I'm not going to use. I'm a completionist, I think u called it, as well. Anyways, I saw that hack during this research and thought it was really cool. Omg Thai is my favorite also. I make it myself too and grow my own sprouts. Just had some Thai tonight. Have u had Pineapple curry fried rice? So good.
I've enjoyed all your videos up to now but that one was an especially good idea. It felt as we were actually sitting in a room knitting together. Well for me at least since I could listen to you talking and watch you knitting, no idea how it is for you who has to do the talking without watching or listening to anyone else. Anyway thanks a lot for this video. Good job!!! Looking forward to your next video :)
What does "Blanket is worked with 2 strands of yarn held together throughout" Will I be knitting with two strands of yarn as if it were one? Thanks for your help!
I do gift knit, but don't " commission " knit. I have done commission once or twice but they did the that not the exact colour I wanted or the price was too much etc..so now it's if you want me to knit you something buy me the yarn etc...but I do love knitting for my family and friends...I never feel guilty saying no now....it's my therapist and craft I have always said that my children could tell me that their an axemurderer and I would say that's nice sweetie are you having fun?..I have had people suggest that I make this a "job" and my answer is always no that takes great joy out of it..I knit for me...enjoy your craft and do what what you love..thank you for your channel
@@DrowninginYarn Hats .and right now I'm making my 5 yr old great granddaughter a poncho. She's in a wheelchair and it's easy to get over her head by herself to go to recess. Thank you Caleb for spending some time with us. It is great to come together as a community and celebrate our knitting successes and explore our knitting opportunities. Caleb, you mentioned that you might want to do some UA-cam features on your experience with Goodnotes. I am wondering if you might give serious consideration to this? I am looking for a good note taking app to use with my knitting. I am looking at Goodnotes, Evernote, Apple Notes, and notability. You prefer Goodnotes. I would like to know why you prefer it and what features you particularly like about the app which would help myself and others in their knitting. Thanks for giving this some consideration, Caleb.
Ya know what? You are such a classy fellow! When I first saw you I had a bit of trouble with the center nose ring. (Don't judge - I'm 70.) Then I remembered my Grandma told me I looked like a gypsy when I got my ears pierced . So told myself to get over myself on the nose ring and I'veenjoyedever episode. You are calming to watch. I knit for the reasons you listed and I handle burnout the same way. Sort of a strange meditation method but don't mess with success, right? Please keep up the perfectly delightful episodes. Stay safe! ❤
No judgment! I can totally understand your reservations (my mom feels the same way! haha) and I appreciate that you stated it in a respectful way 💚 Thank you so much for watching along! I appreciate you being here!

Loved this video of yours. Actually all of them. Felt like I was sitting & knitting with a good friend.
As I am knitting my first cardigan, this new video led me to watch your sweater video. I've been an occasional knitter for about 30 years and your videos are so motivating and informative. I doubt I would have attempted as much otherwise.
I enjoyed that. It's so interesting to listen to other knitters and to see our craft from a different viewpoint.
Hi Steve, I hope you are doing well. I am doing a research on male knitters. This is for my college project. I found a few people commenting under this video. Do you have time for a chat?
Sure, let me know what works best.
@@stevecorn7289 Thanks Steve, Could you please send me an email so we can continue the conversation there? My email is on my channel's About page. And let me know if you have another idea for another way of chatting. Thanks again.
Knitting my Chunky Dahlia sweater while listening to you :) Always nice to have a knitting companion online
Thanks for sharing your experience :-)
This was an enjoyable episode! I love knit with me, chatty videos! It is always nice getting to know you better too! Have a great week!
x.x I learned as a child and haven't been able to knit quickly.
We had such a relaxing time feet up watching you’re relaxing video.
You are totally relatable!! I loved this chat.
I just happen to be working on the worked-flat part :D
I also love sweaters. I'm a process knitter though, so I have sweaters that are interesting and I learned techniques (like shaping) but I don't wear them often. So they just live on the bottom shelf of my closet.
Thank you for telling us you're from TX. You're so comfortable dropping the "y'all" but no real "Southern" accent so it was bugging me LOL
Anyway, thanks for sharing! I'll watch your videos no matter how long they are; I always learn something new.
Have you looked at Norwegian purling? It's amazing!
Hey man! You're very very good knitter. Wdf channel. Yours tips save my life! Tks so much. César from Brazil!
Nice to hear your thoughts! I appreciated that you don't do gift knitting as I tend to feel guilty I don't do more. Thanks for an interesting chat!
Thank you
Love the video. I also like the winter for the same reasons, we have long winters in Canada and now I love them!!!
Oh my goodness, you totally need to release the hat pattern!! I couldn’t find ANY patterns on 2.75mm needles w/ fingering weight. I’m winging it 🤣
Also winter is the best! I’m from super hot Queensland, Australia and feel like I would die for year round winters 🤣
GENTLEMAN’S GUIDE IS SO GOOD OMG
I'm currently a senior at UH and I always knit during my classes to help me concentrate. Go knitting coogs 🙌
Absolutely loved this video! You should definitely make more like this. ❤️
Yay! Thank you!
@@DrowninginYarn have you thought about doing a live stream knitting night? I would definitely join in!
i'm exactly the same when it comes to labels.
I hope you’re well and that you’re coming back soon ❤️❤️
Well, you are inspiring. Makes me want to try to knit a sweater that has been on my bucket list for a while now. I have several new nieces and nephews coming into the world and would like to try something besides another blanket. I enjoyed the podcast. Hope to see more! Thank you 😊 💓
Gentleman's Guide was a good one! I do need to try the next one. And I'm with you on seaming garments - I've done it once and pretty much hated it.
Late to the party but this was very fun! I love longer and casual knit and chat videos, including rambles!
I did enjoy this alot! I got a few rows on my so faded sweater done listening to this.
That sounds like an odd punishment! But I’m glad you weren’t deterred 😊
I agree with you about cooking. I love good food but don't want to cook because then I'd have to clean up the kitchen.
Thanks for sharing your experience! You trip sounds amazing! And I appreciate you watching.
This was a great Q & A video! I felt like I was (I actually was) just sitting and knitting with you now it was so relaxing and fun. Thanks so much!
Good video Caleb! I got the ribbing done on the Dustland Hat by Stephen West that I recently cast on. So thanks!
@@alirezadanaei7147 sure I I’m open to it.
Thanks for the suggestion! I’ve seen that sweater before and I really like it 💚
Great Q&A video. Nice to learn a little more about you and your preferences in knitting. I love to knit while watching my favorite knitting UA-camrs. Looking forward to your next video.
Thanks Caleb, enjoyed the video. Your openess with your knitting journey is a joy to watch 😊
Thanks so much! I'm so glad you enjoyed it and I appreciate the compliment 💚
I enjoyed learning your history and life with knitting! Thanks for sharing.
You are so welcome! I really appreciate you spending some time with me today 😊
I want to go to Japan as well, mainly because I was born there and have never been back. I enjoyed your podcast and your sweaters.
Thank you so much for this video - it was really lovely to just knit and chat!
Thank you
I like the long length. I caught up some with my temperature blanket.
I got the red Chaigoo interchangeable pouch and I’m making some socks right now with it (two circulars) I did NOT need the whole set either lol, BUT the pouch is soo nice looking and contained I could resist despite the $100 something price tag.
WE MISS YOU PLEASE COME BACK TO YOU TUBE>>>ALWAYS ENJOYED YOUR PODCAST>>>>
So glad I found your podcast. Really enjoyed my first view and got some great tips eg Good notes and also how you set photo shoots for instagram.
Absolutely loved this video!
I knit now for my mental health issues and not done much in some time but getting more done and I love your vids
Thank you for your honest answers, it’s very helpful to hear how you navigate losing your knitting mojo.
You are so welcome! I'm so glad you found it helpful 💚
I have done commission once or twice but they did the that not the exact colour I wanted or the price was too much etc..so now it's if you want me to knit you something buy me the yarn etc...but I do love knitting for my family and friends...I never feel guilty saying no now....it's my therapist and craft I have always said that my children could tell me that their an axemurderer and I would say that's nice sweetie are you having fun?..I have had people suggest that I make this a "job" and my answer is always no that takes great joy out of it..I knit for me...enjoy your craft and do what what you love..thank you for your channel
please make more videos like this, I really enjoyed it!
That's Good idea .to just say no. I knit for my great grand kids 5 and 7 yrs old they love things I make for them
They're lucky grandkids! What kinds of projects do you make for them?
@@DrowninginYarn Hats .and right now I'm making my 5 yr old great granddaughter a poncho. She's in a wheelchair and it's easy to get over her head by herself to go to recess. She was born with spina bifida.

I'm so happy I found you. I just love your personality, I can relate to many of your answers.
Thank you so much!!
Yeah, knitting is a collaborative activity, not a competitive one. Great video! :)
So true!
Yes, whenever you can please a tutorial on goodnotes. Thanks!
You got it!
I enjoyed this video very much as it was nice to get to know you more. My youngest son recently spent three and a half years living in Japan and loved it. He would definitely recommend you go for a long visit.
