I am for the mutual relationship between Muslims and monotheistic believers. But did Najjash die as a Christian? Did Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) pray for his absent janazah as a Christian or as a Muslim? There seems to be confusion here.

There is abundant proof that he died as a follower of Jesus, and no proof at all that he ever gave up being a follower of Jesus and became a follower of Muhammad (peace be upon them both).

Even though I might disagree with how things played out in early Islamic history, we are now at the end times and need to work together in preparation of the reappearance of Isa AS and the Imam of our time, Imam Mahdi AS. This lecture shows that there is still room for unity and that the message of Imam Hussein AS and his struggle in Karbala against tyranny and oppression is just as relevant now as it has ever been.

Assalammualaikum Dear Sheikh. I am living in a country that practices secularism. Eventhough the majority of the populations is muslim, eventhough the ruler is muslim and eventhough Islam is stated in the constitution as the main religion. We are formerly a country colonized by the british and they left us with a set of law that is being made supreme law of the country despite Islam being the main religion. The rulers never plan to make Quran and hadith the supreme law. As a secular country, we practices what they called constitutional democracy. And we select our leaders through votes. In time we witnessed many occurance where the constitution is used to deny the islamic principles from being carried out. I believe this is a kind of war.
My question is how do we implement the code of war in the Quran in this situation?. Should we vote in hope that we can elect leaders that will implement the hudud & sharia or should we avoid the system like a plague?
We cannot do it in macro level but only in micro level implementation

If you don't vote, those enemies of Islam that you don't like will come to power and then you will cry about the mistake you made. Having an Islamic party or leader in power gives Muslims a breather. If you get real power one day, you can change the system. But until that day, you should think about the rights of Muslims, because when secular people come to power, the first thing they do is ban Quran education or expel girls wearing headscarves from university.

To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who could possibly intercede with Him without His permission? He ˹fully˺ knows what is ahead of them and what is behind them, but no one can grasp any of His knowledge-except what He wills ˹to reveal˺. The Prophet (ﷺ) said: The flourishing state of Jerusalem will be when Yathrib is in ruins, the ruined state of Yathrib will be when the great war comes, the outbreak of the great war will be at the conquest of Constantinople and the conquest of Constantinople when the Dajjal (Antichrist) comes forth. He (the Prophet) struck his thigh or his shoulder with his hand and said: This is as true as you are here or as you are sitting (meaning Mu'adh ibn Jabal).

As'salam Sheikh, wonder if you have researched The Book of Enoch (Nabi Idris A.S) as part of Eschatology studies. I have read that it is part of the Ortodox Ethiopian Bible which consist of 88 books. Allah knows best. Wa'salam.

We could lend an attentive ear to those who have researched on the Book of Enoch to see if anything can be cross-referenced to one's own research regarding the topic of Nabi Idrīs and to connect all possibly related āyāt surrounding the predivulian era, and then perhaps share and compare notes, especially to Sheikh Imran's students who are dedicated in this field of study. When we learned the history about the Janissaries in school about 30 yrs ago for the SPM equivalent to GCE O level, I also felt that it was not right to take the small children of the Christians or whoever they defeated and turn them into soldiers. Dear sheikh I have an important question. I hope you will give me an answer.
During the time of the prophet there were already certain humanly inventions non of which were declared haram by the Quran. For instance people were using oil lamps to light their houses or were using astrological instruments to locate stars. They were using basic detergents to wash themselves. Allah tacitly indorced them by not refuting them. Also using animals for transportation and many more things. Now the question. How can we now deduce that human progress since then is not acceptable to god. For example using the solar Callander or using paper money and so on which humans have invented since then, are not acceptable. I believe that if paper money had already been invented at that time, it would have been indorsed tacitly too. You do not see even one single human invention of the time that had been refuted by the Quran. Please solve this dilemma. Thank you.

It is clear that this man is a professional slanderer of the worst possible kind. He simply asserts one slander followed by another against various Islamic countries, leaders without producing any evidence or proof. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ warned against the evil scholars of the end times and there is no doubt that a career built on slander can never constitute true knowledge. The Quran makes a clear distinction between execution (death) and crucifixion. Surah 5:33 logically distinguishes between execution and crucifixion. God is telling us with this verse that a crucifixion does not necessarily means dying on a cross i.e., a person can survive a crucifixion. In other words, Jesus was not put on a cross.
The Qur'an does NOT say that crucifixon does not require death! That is FALSE!

There are examples in ancient Rome of victims surviving crucifixion (a friend of the historian Flavius Josephus survived his crucifixion). There are also non-lethal crucifixions practice by some religious sects as a form of devotion. The point is that the concept of execution is always lethal (there's no such thing as a nonlethal execution), while the concept of crucifixion is not necessarily lethal i.e, there's a chance of survival because it takes time to die on a cross and many things can happened during that time that could make it possible for a victim to survive.

The fact of the matter is that God allowed both empires to taste extremely short/fleeting victories (first the Sasanians and then the Byzantines) precisely because in doing so both empires would be left in a state of complete exhaustion and, therefore, susceptible to the imminent emergence and rapid expansion of the Rashidun Caliphate. God did not "helped" the Byzantines out of love for them but in order to establish the upcoming Rashidun Caliphate. Let me remind you of surah 13:41 and surah 21:44 where God explicitly says that the shrinking of the borders is a form of punishment; and that's exactly what happened to the borders of the Byzantine empire shortly after its "victory". The Sasanians and Byzantines actually fought to a draw, and they both depleted their respective resources, so they were left with nothing to defend against the onslaught of the Rashidun Caliphate. In short, the Rashidun Caliphate was the real winner. And the bogus "alliance" you speak of is not in the Quran.
