The words spoken by James Brown, the music are just as haunting today as when this came out in the 70's, very, very powerful message.
POWERFUL message for a POWERFUL drug . . . . . don't go down that road to nowhere . . . . . it's too powerful, and will grab you quick . . . . .
Indeed it is a very powerful message. I was hooked on heroin all throughout the 80's and 90's and through the grace of God I finally broke free. Not a day goes by that I don't thank Him for deliverance. I dedicate this song to all of those still suffering. You can do it💪🏽
Masterpiece 💯
James Brown today is the King of Soul, and truly Missed!
This song is relevant today

Brother James Brown ✌🏿
I’m surprised this has that amount of likes this is a classic and the message is so relevant in today’s world it may not be in powder form but it’s in the form of a pill. A poet at its finest!
Thanks to former boxer Manny Rosen who wrote the lyrics 5:45

I had such a collection of 45's King Herion, by James Brown Curtis Mayfield 45 Freddie's Dead and Superfy 8 track saw movie also but didnt get to enjoy it because this boy i went with tried to slip a ring on my finger dude just met him. Straight up said dont even do that. Also had many Marvin Gaye 45's. I miss the music of the seventies!
This song was written by UNCLE JAMES to warn any and all people who wish to become a musical artist, that no matter how successful you become, if your mind is not focus on remaining Strong as you make music, do concerts across the nation and the world, you will fall to the Addiction of Drugs and Alcohol, and perhaps one day lose your life to that addiction. This goes for any other normal unknown person in this complicated world. Say No To Drugs/Alcohol by staying in the humanistic realm of life.
