Just recently discovered your channel from researching the Rubicon trail and other trails in NorCal. I’ll have to say your videos are some of my favorite I’ve seen. Noticed you hadn’t posted many vids in the last year. I look forward to any new videos coming. Keep up the great work. FYI I love the yota truck.
Still have them, but I had so many issues with sidewall punctures they just were not reliable anymore. I would take out a tire every trip without any major changes in the way I was driving so I must have a bad batch or something 🤷. Not a single issue so far on the Procomps (knock on wood). However, I do miss how well the treps hooked up in the rocks and I got another set of beadlocks I want to setup with tubes inside so I don't have to worry about them holding air. They might return some day..
@@BBDOGGER Yea my friend with 37" treps has had no issues and they work great. I have heard mixed reviews from others as far as reliability but most everyone will agree they work well once broken in on the rocks.
Nice videos and super cool copilot Dog, I was in one of the five 80s ahead of you Guys, and surprised to find Kevin and Crew's tow Regs parked next to mine when I got down off the Mountain. I knew the were one Day behind us and hoped they had turned around like you Guys did. Glad everyone got out SAFE!!!!!!!!!
Great job on these videos! My son and I were a little ahead of your group. Five 80 series Landcruiser's. We made the choice, at Ershim Lake, to complete the trail. We made it out through Shaver, Saturday night. Great trail! What an amazing experience.
That's awesome! Had the fire hit the 168 up by like China Peak when you guys drove out? I am still bummed we didn't complete the trail this time but I will be back next season for sure. Besides the fire, it was a fantastic weekend up there. Glad you guys made it out!
@@COLINSMITHSLO we were able to get out on 168. They were busy cutting lines, and getting residents out of harm's way, when we passed through Shaver. Gassed up just before the pumps were shut off, around 9 PM. Got home, and started reaching out to the groups to make sure everyone else was accounted for. One of Kevin's friends was with our group, so we were trying to get word whether they were safe. Pretty awesome how well the offroad community pulls together, when these things happen.
Thanks Peter! I found a nice stick and clamped the gopro onto it. It was a nice surprise to find so many fish while reviewing the clips! I believe they are Brook Trout.
Awesome footage I think I have watched most of videos, just fantastic. Suggesting, do a video walk around of your rig and some of your buddies rigs, as im sure im not the only who would like to know the specs. Thanks Jon :)
Once again great video. You're editing and creative filming make it a joy to watch. Obviously glad you guys make it out ok. Probably a little nerve racking to say the least least.
That Brook Trout at around 12:35 was awesome! Great videos. Need to sell Jeep and build a Toyota! 😅
😍😍😍😍😍 loving the Yotas.

Wow ....how things change immediately...
This trip was a bit of a rollercoaster lol. I can't wait to go back and complete the trail!
Awesome rigs and video!👌😎👍
Why do you no longer run the Trepadors? Thx

Y'all need to grab a Zoleo satellite communicator. Or Inreach. Love it. Makes texting easy on the dusy and Backcountry 🤙 great editing.
Glad y'all made it out safe. No wonder Cali is on fire, look at all the downed trees.
Dude all CA forest is a tinder box. You look at it funny and it will ignite.
Yea that forest was overdue for a fire, unfortunately it had to be such an out of control one..

Got out in the nick of time. I almost lost my deer camp up there. Coworkers almost lost homes. Area still closed
I'm glad you made it out. It's so gnarly how fast that fire grew and then lasted for months.
Wow, glad you all got out safely!
Thanks!
Damn, cool shots of those fish!

Killer Footage Bro! Nice Story Telling. Sharing your video with my wheeling buddies here in Michigan.
What kind of dog? Real Cute Pup
Hell yeah! Thanks dude. As best as I can tell Jager is a cattledog/rat terrier mix. She is like 11 but still goes pretty much everywhere with me.
Nice rig y’all got and incredible adventure during the creek fire 🔥, also i think I remember seeing the 3rd Gen for sale awhile back. Keep it coming.

Thanks man, really appreciate the support. I will need to do a walkaround one of these days.

Thanks Mark! It was certainly an abnormal wheeling trip lol
Awesome video man. Glad you all go out safely.
