The cooler sits on a cut down pallet rack above the gas tank and its held down with a combination of hose clamps through the cooler handle holes and then a ratchet strap through the hose clamps and down to pallet rack. Ghetto but works well lol.
7:29 Toyota factory option for the Tacoma... That seatbelt is pretty famous for me... Always have to tell my passengers to pull the seat belt back into it's place or toss the loose end back inside haha
Great video as always, love Cougar Buttes, Hammer Down is fun, if you have not already done so, do the extra credit line up the rocks to the left just after the large drop off V notch, just another little fun spot! Not sure what day you ran this but might be the same day I was on Wrecking Ball, the wind was ridiculous!
I actually tried that line last time I was out at CB and after like 15 attempts I bailed. I was super close but my tires would just not stay out of the notch at the top. When I get my Treps put back together I will def give it another go.
@@COLINSMITHSLO It is a challenging line, I kept slipping off at the same spot and finally had to use the winch! Hope you make it next time, half the fun is having to work at it, if it was easy we would be board right!
Happy xmas! Thanks for checking out the video! I don't think the material sourced for sliders is as important as getting something that fits your vehicle well. I think most sliders are round tube because it's just easier to make, but rigs with boatsides or super flush mounted sliders might use square stock or plate. FWIW I use normal trail gear sliders that have been moved in towards the cab and tied into my exo cage.
GOOD DAY IN MY BOOK !! What leafs are in rigs if you don’t mind me asking and tire sizes I’m on 38s 2nd gen 4 link rear leaf front but I’m on struggle street with my front way to stiff !! Thanks
I have Trail Gear 5" packs in the front of mine and I think Wyatt is using a Toyota RUF pack. Maybe your leaf pack just needs to settle a bit? They take time to break in.
What happened you stopped posting anything for 9 months are you ok I want to build at toy like this can you give me any input I have a 94 but thinking of a older truck build ????
what mount did you use for your cooler?

Square tubing or round tubing for sliders which is better? Greetings from Texas/Merry Christmas, great content even due to adverse conditions!!!
