At 3:00 you had game but didn't go for it? Remember with quialiark on the field if you get 6 krawlers on field you can attack directly and the opponent can't activate effects. Summon glial with mind meld, pawns flip glial, summon any other krawler in grave face up, normal receptor. Switch dues and soma to attack and you have game with just them and quialiark. It's easy to be so used to other decks where you're not accomplishing anything unless you are summoning out boss monsters but keep in mind that krawlers win con is just getting 6 krawlers on field.

I'd recommend running Girsu as a good normal summon. Can dump Mind Meld and summon Lib for free to search Pawns, plus he's only at 1 so you don't have to worry too much about what to cut
As a swoso enjoyer, that 7:05 swoso is giving me anneurism Qixiao in defense, baronne in atk, no extensions and baronne on an 1on1 search... Also i dont like going into baronne if qixiao+lv10 is my only play, in my experience the emperor is much better Fun krawler deck tho, might actually make this on my alt acc which has rhonggo bonggo and DM

well, that surviving from opponent plays is also "control" (without stopping them from play, bcs this gonna be "stun" which we dont have interaction in here). i think is more about countering/negating their plays, slowly building advantage until finishing very quickly, usually a turn

Let me clarify, it's due to Soul Crossing's wording. The tributing of your opponent's monsters is immediately after the resolution of the card, not the card effect itself tributing the monsters. If it was the Rikka Xyz tributing the Krawler, that would be completely different, because the effect is to tribute the opponent's monster for no effect. The effect of Soul Crossing is to tribute summon using your opponent's monsters, therefore making the monsters who leave the field, leave the field because they were used as cost and not leaving by effect.

If Soul Crossing had said "tribute three of your opponent's monsters to Normal/Special Summon a Divine-Beast" or something along those lines then the Krawlers would be leaving the field by card effect, but since it takes place after effect resolution, it doesn't do it lol
