What you should know before Skiing at Hoodoo in Bend OR

While Hoodoo ski area is smaller than other ski resorts near Bend, OR it’s the only one that offers night skiing in Central Oregon. It sits at the top of Santiam Pass, just an hour from Bend, Oregon and a little over 2 hours from Portland.
Hoodoo doesn’t have the dry powder of Mt. Bachelor Resort, but it’s lift prices are much more accessible and it has a very quirky, “locals” vibe that will take you from a sunset run from the top to craft beer and nachos in the lodge pub. But once you’re done with that, strap on the sticks and get some night runs in and on weekends, take in the live music.
