It boggles my mind. I come from a place where the minimum salary is like 5 USD a day. With a salary of about 3,000 a year, people simply cannot imagine having access to such an amount of money if their kid happened to have such a condition. I hope these two parents can understand that they are actually very lucky people, in the big picture, as well as poor people with healthy children...

Bots is definitely the occam's razor answer, however perhaps some people don't entirely understand that internet style "likes" and "dislikes" aren't literally like or dislike for the topic at hand, and feel (understandably, albeit incorrectly) awkward "liking" such tragic news.
Come to think of it, this is a tech channel, people that internet illiterate aren't likely to even be here. Still, it's a thought i found intriguing enough to share.

You have to try. There are a lot of things the modern medical system don't want you try. BTW try CBD oil i say.
@@72strand there are very few things that can help with a congenital illness and there is no cure short of gene editing, which is impossible with current technology. the best any doctor can do (legit or not) is treat the symptoms.
@jpteknoman Medicine works the way that it can help even what the problem is. There are a lot of genes. And forces in the body works in different directions. So you can go around some problems with medicine. But it is not a cure you are right on that.
I would never put all my trust into medical professionals. Sometimes alternative therapies can and do work.
It's important to question and research everything because even experts get things wrong. Remember, the 3rd leading cause of death in the states behind cancer and heart disease is medical errors. And that's derived from errors that we know about.
Think about that a second. You put your faith in professionals to save your life, but the same professionals have better chance of taking it than all other causes except cancer and heart disease. And than they have the nerve to tell you to avoid everyone else but them. Hmm!

I hate that healthcare is so expensive here but not gonna lie, as long as you are paying the bills you get an almost VIP treatment, with a squad of specialized doctors assigned to you, specially for something as niche as this. Its not the same in countries where its free, theres a lot of waiting.

I’m sorry to hear about your struggles. My 7 year old has had sever epilepsy for about 5 years now so I know the struggle. We have tried everything from the keto diet, to kepra, and various other meds. What ended up helping the most was a combination of Onfi and VNS therapy. It’s been about 2 months since he has had any seizures I know you said you are planning on going to Gainesville, FL, but if you find yourself near Baltimore, MD I cannot recommend Johns Hopkins enough. They have an entire team dedicated to pediatric epilepsy and have been a godsend for my son.

This breaks my heart. As a father of a 3 year old who has seizures, I can imagine the helplessness you feel. I have not a had a single good night sleep since my daughter had her first seizure. I truly hope your son gets the best treatment available and you can comfortably see him grow into an awesome young man. I loved your show back in the day, God speed.
OMG ive been putting off watching this video because i didnt want to see this channel go ive been watching for a while now and so many videos has helped me choose or save up for my next upgrage... i was not expecting this as ive not seen the other video i have a 3yr old daughter who thankfully is fit and healthy but the thought of something wrong or her getting hurt is there everyday. i cant imagine what your going through it must be so overwhelming to go through that everyday i dont burst into tears much but soon as you cut to your son it broke me. i really hope you can get the help for your son he is so cute and i cant possibly think how he feels either. i wish you 3 all the best and i hope you have an amazing christmas

Being a father myself of a son that was born at 24 weeks and only 539g, he had a lot of major problems and I know its a very hard road, and from the sounds of it you are going through quite a bit worse than what we went through, but I do know a little bit of the stress you are going through. You and your wife are far stronger than you think, but if you stick together and have each others backs it will make the journey a little bit easier. The absolute hardest job you will ever have is being a father or mother and it is also the most rewarding. Mine an my families hearts go out to you any your family, as someone mentioned below, keep your focus on your family. UA-cam will be here when you are ready to continue. We hope and pray from the bottom of our hearts for you and your family that you get back to the US safe and sound and that the doctors in Florida can do something to help your boy.

Yeah this was the first video that I've heard of them I recommend them trying to CBD for their kids it's not going to get there kid High but I heard. A UFC fighter uses it for his kid who had seizures and it definitely helped the quality of his kid's life it's very heartbreaking. When kids have illnesses that are this bad

I’m am so sorry I can’t finish this video. My heart goes out to you son and you guys as a family. My nephew has a similar disorder and it is hard to watch. He recently got something like a pacemaker to stop the seizures but it is still a work in progress. You alll will definitely be in my prayers

I really hope you guys see this. Please look into Cincinnati Children's Hospital. My youngest sister had a very rare neurological disorder that no one could figure out...until my parents found Dr. Franz at CCH. Her condition is now 100% under control. Please look into them!

OMG, I wish you all the best. My brother in law almost died from his seizures, just last week. He had 1.5 minutes seizures and then a 1 minute break to the next seizure. I also have huge medical bills. The new medication is incredibly expensive every month.
