if and when u get the Fail-not bow ur life will be complete, it now has a new arrow animation which is pretty cool. i just got one on day 26 of my playthrough. hordes ramp up fast hope u r prepared for the invisible guys day 14 and i think zombie bears come by day 7. build ur base sooner than later id say hordes can get really crazy faster than u want this looks scary when u play lol. have fun all the same. remember it is not like alpha 21 it is harder to get notes and supply drops have not been kind to me like they were in the older alphas. V1.2 ramps up fast so u need to build fast too.
@ it is a legendary bow that looks primitive, but it has perfect aim and as long as the cursor is on the target, it won’t miss hence the name, fail not. It’s like Erik’s hammer and ports shotty (I no he was a 7D2D content creator think I messed up name)
Not going to lie. Saw the supercut and went ooo more darkness falls! Then went oops that’s not the next episode. I’m smart I swear. 😂 I’m loving the joke mod series. Daph is hilarious.
Hah of course you are, it was a bit out of the blue. It just felt relevant and a number of folks may not have seen the series yet. And yes, we're going to be back at joke mod as soon as we get over this flu that just invaded our house
I’m watching the sniper of darkness in bits and pieces. Like this one so far. Keep up the good work and never forget the loot destroying mech that got me watching your awesome videos.
Nice, getting that home built up. Its funny, but I so rarely see this done in darkness falls. Like 90% of all home bases are either built by taking over a tall mid sized poi and living on the second floor, or digging to bedrock and living deep underground where roamers wont find you as you create the mines of moria with a football field sized clearing full of crafting tables and storage. Im a fan of both. Turning a large house into a fortress with turrets and such all around it, or excavating in your free time to continue enlarging your home base to prep for end game times where you will need to create thousands of rounds of several types of ammo at once and are dropping 100k or more of various metals into entire racks of fusion forges. :p
I'm big into building my own, just feels more personal. Also, you have complete control of the shape, and fewer hidden gotchas that could lead zombies through unexpected places in a POI.
@@Genosis Very true. When I played I almost always ended up building my own bases anyways. I liked doing home/horde combo bases especially because the way I played is, if they broke through on horde night I was done anyways. So might as well keep everything handy, as well having the only way into my base be by going through the full horde base setup means random hordes or roamers werent an issue. :p
You should check out trying some barbed wire fence. They don't go into area destroy mode when they take damage from it. I don't hardly ever see anyone using it -- don't really know how you'd use it effectively. Probably not a whole lot better than spikes except for those will put them into area destroy mode.
@@Genosis You used to be able to put a bunch up on your roof and the vultures would get stuck in them - couldn't do any damage to them. Go up after the horde was done to kill them. That didn't last long before they fixed it. lol
I remember watching someone one time who dug out a deep pit all the way down to bedrock then filled it up all the way with wood spikes - would get them to fall down into that. I didn't watch the series to see how long that lasted though.
@@Genosis Yeah exactly what I was thinking. I even left a comment about it. I seen another guy make a deep pit filled with blade traps. But he made it so you could repair them off to the side with an access to them. That worked pretty good!
I haven't played a v1 version of DF but you the stone hammer used to be better at upgrading to cobble. Also, you can disassemble the arrows and repurpose the heads and shafts for bolts. You can also do that with ammo, you'll get tips and gumpowder, just replace the casings. The fastest way to do that is to select the ammo then hover your cursor over the "press a to disassemble" and press a and click. When you get the timing down you go faster then just clicking or pressing A
I have been repurposing some bolts along the way! I noticed sometimes you get feathers back and others you don't, or maybe I just didnt notice when they didnt.
Oh I remember the helicopter incident, I was crying bro. I’m doing the same thing on Cold War, I was playing on Xbox and had almost everything unlocked now I’m on PlayStation and have nothing lol
There is a series of workbench books (up to 3 I think), or you can put a point into workbenches to unlock it. Since I am impatient and I need things for day 7, I may just rush it :P
The reason the cable guys make you wait all day is because they subcontract most of that work to other companies that don't give a crap what time they promised you.
I think there is a place for both; running as many archery only series that I have, the bow is fast and responsive, and the crossbow is great for single/slower powerful shots. I often carried both with a scoped crossbow and loaded with explosive shots so I can switch easily.
I would if I could! As it is, I'm rushing some nights to get things done if we had a setback (usually kid related lol). Adding 3 more hours of recording may be an issue.
I've always thought the crossbow was OP. I like the bow better, even if it's not as powerful. I'm doing the stealthy assassin as well in my playthrough. Though I find using the bow is a little more tedious than just sniping them. My next step is to use .44 gun. Giving me a chance to use weapons I rarely ever use. Darkness falls is by far my most favorite mod for this game.
(Every time you ignored the Sledge...)
Robotic Sledge:うめき声
lol well, poundy is getting sound action on horde night thats for sure

Fail not? Never heard of it, should be interesting to find

I wonder if fishing would ever be added to the game. If it is, Darkness Falls might let you become a Master Baiter.
😂😂😂
Just a man and his pole
Started watching the Sniper of Darkness mega movie. Loving it so far.
Glad you like it! It was a well received series at the time
kickass as always

@ it was but you are right. It’s good timing.
Oh no! I’m sorry to hear that. The flu has been rough this year
You're not alone in that assumption......and affirmation. lol.
Love the murder montage and music! 😊
Thanks! It's always a good time

I will never forget that mech, nope lol. Glad it's not here.

I think I will use quite a bit of it in place of electric wire for the first horde or two

That sounds like a maintenance nightmare!

Hope you get better soon 💪💪💪 yeah it's so risky , but so cool to build your own little house from the start🤩
I like taking pride in building early, you get more attached to a playthrough
That random horde was fun. I was almost worried for the storage.
It will be much better with my usual storage system, I was in pain

Going well so far
#noobgenosis for forgetting that the bow has stone arrows by default. The level 20 bow is gonna do more damage than your level 1 wooden bow
The trader quest to move to the next trader, would that be under do you have any other jobs section when talking to Rekt?
Not quite sure, it was far away so ruled out checking it out for now
I think unlocked teh workbench from a point in tool crafting?

Do the roar!
It's so nice not to have to load up the furnace before making things.
It really is, I would be down for having that in a separate mod pack
The reason the cable guys make you wait all day is because they subcontract most of that work to other companies that don't give a crap what time they promised you.
Sounds about right!
use the crossbow its way better then the bow i would just make bolts now and not arrows or take apart the arrows you got now and make them into bolts
I think there is a place for both; running as many archery only series that I have, the bow is fast and responsive, and the crossbow is great for single/slower powerful shots.

@ yea true but when you get the auto loader mod for the crossbow it’s over haha crossbow all the way
I like to use the bow with cheap arrows to open closets and then the crossbow to kill whatever is in said closet. Works well!
Man I think you should go back to doing two days one episode. That's what I missed about that last series
I would if I could! As it is, I'm rushing some nights to get things done if we had a setback (usually kid related lol). Adding 3 more hours of recording may be an issue.

I like running both bows, keeping one as a long range/utility, and another for basic combat. And yeah DF is a great mod
