I am an Indian.. but it made me tear up... great work NG...Nazar na Lage mere desh ko
Ye hai hamara pyara bharat❤
That's why Hinduism is not religion but way of life every festival feel joy in hearts and stories which helps to tackle the things in another way
Whoever planned this for him deserves every bit of appreciation, as a brijwasi i can say he didn't missed a single celebration except the local ones and explained beautifully what holi is all about. But he should have tried some more dishes in here. But overall i felt its a great presentation from the team.
Jai Bharat..🙌🏻
Vrindavan is great place bt don't you think gov. And local PPl should take initiative to clean their city, it is pure Heritage and we should make sure that we protect it. Cleaning is very necessary there I think.
@@akanksharajput2874 Nicely said. Also, they should stop tearing t-shirts without permission.
@@akanksharajput2874yes specially yamuna ji ! It's so blessed to be born in Braj ...
I agree. His other videos are just as good. Even as an Indian, it's impossible to be that knowledgeable about the festivals of otherstates and know the correct places to observe them from.
The planner really went above and beyond, I must say.
@@akanksharajput2874 Yes! The Locals & The Temple Authorities should take initiative on this front.
Vermilion skies and indigo seas,
Whispers of amber, in the gentle breeze. Incredible India!
Woww
Goosebumps, this is what India is about. Our culture and traditions unite people like no one can imagine
It brought tears to my eyes. Yes m Indian but I have no idea the scale of this. I live my culture and I love you people. I love my India.
You can feel the entire planet in one nation. INDIA !!! I remember I was not feeling good on the day of HOLI. The moment my mother put rang on my forehead and cheeks, I felt jubiliant and playfool. Went out and played. It is one of the best feeling to be born as an Indian.
Wow this was truly amazing! So vibrant and colorful. Love how Gary immersed himself in the celebrations. We are heading to India in 2 weeks. This has got us so excited for our trip 🎉
Namaste Welcome to India 🎉
@@aJay_bEeg Thank you! We are looking forward to visiting 😊
but holi festival will come in march or april month and you are comming now.
@@MohitMishra-d6l We can't wait until then 😊 We will definitely come back for holi. We have our own video planned for this trip 😀
@@livingthejolife you might get to celebrate Diwali which is the biggest festival in India
22:51 the scene gives me goosebumps. The music, flowers, sea of people waiting for Lord Krishna with utmost devotion.
That's why I say I am a proud hindu, I don't need to convert anyone to my religion. I just want to say whatever religion you follow just come and enjoy the vibrancy, the culture, the warmth, the love of India....radhe radhe
Hinduism or Sanatan if you say did not even spared GOD. Whenever it took an avatar, we enquired and enquired about life and death. Even in battlefield. FIrst and only nation with Guru Pradhan desh. It is an amazing concept even if you look at it with Sociological and Theological perspective.
@@ritzmarcos7733aree kehna kya chahte ho??😑
@@AlokitaVerma 🤣 In short, yeh desh GURU pradhan desh bana tha aur yehaan par agai koi higher being ka avatar hai use humne questions after questions pooche. Be it in battlefield or in general life. It was never like GOD said let there be light and there was light.
@@ritzmarcos7733 thats so damn true!!!
Sanatan always gave space for reasoning n questioning. It's not like the word of God is ultimatum n undisputed. Thats what a progressive religion looks like, unlike Islam thats purely a cult.
Their prophet knew that the cult i'm establishing in the name of religion is pure barbaric n despicable...n ppl definitely gonna ques it in coming ages. So, he just brainwashed its followers to the core by inducing fear in them n went like- "follow my word or else go to hell".
cinematography team deserves oscar🏆they have managed to cover joy and devotion of the moment✌
Damn! Even most of Indians aren't aware of such intricacies. That's the Beauty of Bharat, the same festival at certain locations really turn into a Megafestival! For example, Ganesh Puja in Maharastra, Durga Puja in West Bengal, Chhath in Bihar, Rath Yatra in Odisha etc.
There can't be a better place on this planet than my motherland - Bharat❤
English sub-titles will be helpful. The milk vendor is saying it is Krishna's town so milk and curd hold great value ( Krishna was raised by cow herders). The vendor also said his father, grand father did this special job and he is continuing the tradition.
Gary actually translated him pretty well.
I don’t speak or understand Hindi. The emotion was enough translation for me, plus the Hindi made it feel even more authentic. I am sure the host knew what he was doing.
Jai Shree Krishna !! Hari Bol. The Festival Of Colors Brings Joy And Happiness . A Moment To Play With Colors . Thank You Taking Us Along This Journey Of Mega Festivals. Radhe Radhe !! 🙏
Made me nostalgic. Holi in village then in banaras then in Pune and now in USA. Flavor keep changing and it’s get milder. Hopefully I would go back one day.
India is the only country where the culture is so vibrant and buzzing with life. Also its the only country where feminine is revered and held holy. The west society in medieval ages killed the feminine worship and women with some Divine power were burnt alive by calling them witches and thats why the term Witch Hunt came into existence. So Proud. Jai Hind
7:14 , I literally got emotional to see my Village. Living in west and haven’t seen home in more then 2years. Going in two days Bytheway.
Welcome home!
I must really appreciate the cinematography and the editing is just next level......Hope Gary had a great time spending in India....❤❤❤
What a fantastic covering of most beautiful things of india.....feels like living it with them...entire team deserves oscar.... commendable job gyus...❤❤❤

OMG! Absolutely mesmerising series, but you have barely scratched the surface. There are so many more festivals in India that you can cover. Diwali!! You missed a big one, we need an episode on Diwali. Navratri, Lohri, Ratha Yatra of Puri, Bihu, Pongal, Rakshabandhan, Vaishakhi, Sankranti, Dushehra, and so many more!

Oh god I had never seen this side of holi celebrations before, though im from uttar pradesh, thank you gary for taking me through a tour of this divine journey. Jai shri krishna. Vishnu bhagwan ki jai 🙏🙏🙏. Only thing that u missed is some sweets like Ghujhiya which is a delicacy of uttar pradesh and it made especially in holi in every home.
I have heard a lot about Holi in the land of Srikrishna, but it is difficult to take a long leave for a visit around festivals. Through the eyes of Mr Gary Mehigan,I get to enjoy Holi in Brajbhumi and can view it again and again. Many, many thanks !
Iam a Bangladeshi and I love India. India is place of Joy and festival's. And It’s a place of Hindus also. Jai Sri Krishna 🕉️❤️

Beautiful episode, excellently presented, comprehensive, covers so many legends and traditions, captures the vibes so well, absolutely fun to watch, great job! 👍👍👍
Yeh mera India 🇮🇳
I love my India ❤
22:41
What a coincidence
I was watching your video where the curtain of Krishna's temple was about to be opened. Thinking about Krishna, I placed my hand on my heart and began to remember him. Suddenly, a breeze came through my window, and the curtain started fluttering. At that exact moment, in the video, the curtain also began to flutter. When I looked outside again, there was no significant breeze. I don't know why this happened at that precise moment.
Jai shree Krishna ❤
radhe radhe
Thats the beauty of Bharat...thats the beauty of Sanatan!!! ❤🇮🇳😌
It's awesome Gary, getting into the whole festival mood is such a cool thing. You should get the other 2 involved. I'm sure they would love it too.

Gary, you are such a vibe! ❤
Absolutely enjoyed every bit of it... What a wonderful presentation... As an Indian, I did not know about many rituals covered in this documentary. Kudos to Gary for a great presentation and NG India team for beautifully editing and scripting the documentary.
INDIA Full of Colours ,Joy & Unity ❤❤
I don't know I have tears in my eyes after watching this 😭 Radhe Radhe ❤️🌟
Such rich tradition and culture can only be found in India it’s uniqueness is unmatched anywhere , all this was attacked over centuries by invaders they failed for either they themselves converted or adapted this tradition or the way of life……. I being a Sanatani Hindu am proud of this tradition and no power on earth can disposes our rich tradition, history gives the proof……..jai Sree Krishna 🙏🏻
I was atheist growing up, i didnt understand this emotion, why people devote. Now that i’m learning i can feel this attachment, i just start crying thinking of krishna
I'm from Mathura I have seen you in holi
If are a foreigner then visit India during "Holi S Navaratri S chat Puja" then you will see true colours of India 😊
Unity in diversity, that is the specialty of India ( which includes each and every thing)
