      I think Green Beret won that title SF before the rest of the US commandos of various branches so they get to ride it out as official group to carry that. It's an understandable mistake people royally to this day mess it up.

      I've heard special operations folks admit that ,"they aren't really that good, it's that everyone else (enemy) really sucks"! I think all things military are pretty darn cool. I'm gonna have to pick the Navy Seals over all the other tough guys out there for the sole fact of WATER. Those men can swim and I mean really swim! The other dudes as skilled as they may be would drown. It's a fact!

    Great combat drills. I was surprised that Chad was moving his selector switch on and off after each shot. I did not hear Edgar doing this. This takes precious seconds off the overall time. In close combat, I don't think I would be doing this as I want to engage as soon as I acquire the target. I did notice that Edgar was transitioning to left shoulder as he was approaching the left side fo the diamond and it seemed Chad was transitioning after he arrived, again, precious half-seconds. I agree with Edgar's philosophy, incapacitating the target over accuracy is better.

    Well, I gotta say ol Redbeard looked every bit of 6’13” in American inches. And that subtracts at least 15 min of time, I reckon. So that puts ole Chad up at least 10 min ahead if my freedom calculator is working correctly. Nuff said?

    I have pretty bad PTSD from the Army and I usually can't watch anything that has to do with the military, especially special operations. With your guy's channel I feel pretty comfortable watching. Thank you.

    Love you Chadd but you were late to present your weapon and late to move to the next target(need to move right after you send it). I think you were sandbagging because you're such a stand up guy. Cheers for the content and great work both of you

      I suspect that beneath Chadd's breezy persona, he's too much of a pro to forego inspecting his work, even for the sake of a friendly "contest."

    Chad seems like a super cool and humble guy but I was a bit surprised with how slow he was flipping the safety on and off and then transitioning from shoulder to shoulder. He was waiting until he got to the target to transition shoulders while Edgar was doing in while running. He obviously was a SEAL so his experience and training far outweighs anything I’ve ever done but I’m surprised it took him that long to run that drill especially with the rifle and he didn’t have his Eotech sighted in properly.

    • @SmokeEater509
      @SmokeEater509 Рік тому

      He had his Eotech sighted to 25 yds. He was just using the wrong hold on his reticle.

    Was shocked to see Edgar’s face on a UA-cam video. It’s really cool to see him in your video! Have been to a few of his shoot arounds in the past. Love his classes!

    Edgars run & gun was OK but paled in comparison to his flawless technique, amazing accuracy, & ability to stay calm when breathing like James Gandolfini 😜❤️

    Thanks for the video. Credit to the camera man/woman. Well done keeping up with moving shooters and letting us see their behavior. It wouldn't have been nearly as instructive if we couldn't see what they were doing.

    Edgar had the smooth right to left hand switch down pat with the carbine. Very cool. Sorry no frills looked more comfortable thus better looking. Liked seeing how he handled clearing the jams-didn't miss a beat.

    Definitely noticed Ed keeps his rifle down on the move and the seal keeps it pointed up. Not sure if that makes much sense but I'd definitely like to know if at all possible what difference it does make. Good job guys! Very inspirational. Oh and the difference in rounds being fired down range I also noticed but definitely a nice drill and great form on both of yall.

      Only thing i can think of on that would be the seals training more for being on small watercraft and wanting to avoid a ND puncturing a hole in the hull of the craft. I have no clue if that is accurate it is just the only reason that makes sense to me😂

    • @ryand4533

      SEALs train like that because the old days they mostly stayed on ships. It’s ship CQB tactic so you don’t put a round in the boat. Most Army do low ready but in most cases high ready is better and safer. Low ready is easier but a little more dangerous.

    I was surprised to see my army brother have so many misfires with his pistol, absolutely unacceptable in combat situation. Is it bad magazine, ammo or God forbid pistol? I am partial to Sig P226 seal version and P229 Legion for carry, with any half way decent ammunition they are amazingly trouble free.
