Truthfully they had so many experiences in common, I think they understood the demands of superstardom like no one else. Just to say it was beyond just a physical thing. They were connected in a deep way as few people know, because few of us have that kind of talent and that kind of success. Plus when he met A-M he had already promised himself to Priscilla (in matrimony if not fidelity) if her parents consented to her living at Graceland. He could not renege on that promise, he wasn't that kind of guy. And lifelong simply means for the rest of your life, whether it is long or short.@@rhondamcbath6279

It makes me sad and mad that there was no one around him in his later years that could've forced him to get the help he needed. I wasn't there so maybe there were lots of people trying but I can't imagine being close to this man and watching him deteriorate so rapidly. It breaks my heart 😢💔

Elvis was just one of a kind, he is so famous that people tend to take him for granted. IMO he sang more great songs than anyone and he could sound so different and do so many genrers perfectly.

The musical Bye Bye Birdie is a direct reference to Elvis Presley being drafted into the Army and having to go to war while a humongous celebrity. It doesn't follow him into war, it follows his fans back in America that are losing their minds about him having to leave. And his handlers do a promotion where he is going to kiss in public one lucky member of his fan club before he ships off to the army.
His name is Conrad Birdie and the musical is Bye Bye Birdie and I played Conrad Birdie in our high school play. The play went GREAT! In spite of me lol.
