It had been raining since morning, but if you hadn’t looked at the weather report you wouldn’t have known to be prepared and carry an umbrella with you. Luckily, he had, and even though all week had been sunny, the rain fell down unforgivingly on the people running down the streets. He, on the other hand, enjoyed his stroll, looking around and appreciating the scents of the nearby shops which were heightened by the weather.
He noticed the rain was starting to die down, and he contracted his umbrella shaking it a little bit to get rid of the excess water. And just as he looked up, he noticed a girl who was stretching and sighing in contentment as she looked up at the sky, just outside of a coffee shop. Time seemed to stop, and he couldn’t help but stare at the beautiful girl. In that moment, he understood the meaning of love at first sight.
A splash of water from a bicycle passing by broke the spell, and distracted him enough for the girl to enter the coffee shop once again. He tried to talk to her, but decided to enter the shop and approach her some other way. He then realized that she worked there, and he was soon captivated by her, too focused on her movements, on the way she laughed with her coworkers, on the way she smiled while serving her costumers… He didn’t notice when another waitress asked him what he wanted to drink, and embarrassed he quickly answered “coffee”. When he looked back at her, he watched himself with her, together as they played in a kitchen. They were cooking together, playing around while doing so and tasting the food afterwards, laughing at each other for their clumsiness. He realized this were scenes from the future, as he had the ability to foretell snippets of it, and he looked down, trying to stop the incoming flow of images. But they just kept flowing and flowing into his eyes. He saw himself lying comfortably on a couch while she rested her head in his lap, and he couldn’t help but smile lovingly at her, stroking her hair. He stared at her once more, sighing in contentment due to the happy moments he saw, but a feeling he couldn’t quite place kept growing inside him. He saw as he proposed to her, in a very simple but intimate manner, and giving her a ring matching his.
He looked down at the ring in his hand and caressed it, but something was not right. He kept feeling dread, he didn’t want to keep seeing the scenes, because with every passing moment he foresaw, the bad feeling he had kept growing and growing. She came and delivered his coffee, smiling as she told him to call her if he needed anything else. And then he saw it. He saw the moment of their fight, the moment everything he wanted slipped by him when she said goodbye, and the moment she returned the ring, asking him to forgive her. He did an inhuman attempt to keep his emotions in check, tears threatening to fall as he took his ring off. 60 seconds was the total amount of time he could see into the future. And 60 seconds was all it took for him to get a glimpse into the most beautiful and hurting relationship he would ever have. But that was enough for him. Knowing well how things would end, he preferred to save himself the hurt, keeping in his memory the images of what it could have been. He left the ring in the table he sat at, and he walked to the door, prepared to leave and to leave behind the girl.
In that moment, she noticed he had gotten up and was leaving, but he left behind his ring. She chased him and tapped him in the shoulder to give it back, extending her arm to hand it over to him, and when he turned around and they looked into each other’s eyes… she saw it as well. She saw the moment of how they would have first met, when she was waiting for the rain to die down because she didn’t take an umbrella, and he came and offered to walk her home. She saw both the happy and the sad moments as well, and she looked confused at him, not sure of what she had just seen. A tear finally streamed down his face as he looked down at the ring in her hand, and she closed her hand around it, telling her to keep it.
“I would have loved you very much, but knowing our story is enough”
He tried to smile but failed, and he turned around and left. She stood there watching him leave, not knowing what to make of his words. But she couldn’t help but feel sad as she looked at the ring, and as she thought of the images she saw, a tear fell down her face, along with the sound of the door closing behind him.
He then stared heartbroken to the sky, which was once again pouring down. He opened his umbrella and left, alone.
60 seconds was enough to know our story. 60 seconds were enough to let you go.

As a fan of Infinite, I feel the need to express my gratitude to Sunggyu, he's probably one of the few kpop stars that I hold respect for, to be able to be a leader who can smile without showing his fans how much stress he goes through, Sunggyu has helped me indirectly. In my times of grief, his soothing voice really helps me feel better. I feel as though Sunggyu is the only star in which I genuinely like his voice. (Not just his looks) Kim Sunggyu, I just want to thank-you, because your hard work really makes me happy and I'm sure there are many other fans who feel the same way.

I don't cry much when I see other videos but when I saw this video and L was crying, I really cried.. he's not my bias but when I saw him cry, I really cried a lot. I think that this video represents a story about two person who are inlove so much. One day, the guy met the girl in that cafe. He left the ring like the girl did. He was really hurt so he was smiling a bit. I am really hurt when I saw L crying. Somehow it means that they broke up but the guy still kept the ring so that day was different. He gave it to the girl, it means that they are over now.

I remember the first time my sister and I watched this MV. We were relatively new to kpop and Infinite and couldn't understand how a boy in a group could go solo or be in a subunit and still be part of the group. So my sister though that they had disbanded. And we were like "wow they must be really good friends because even though they disbanded this L guy everybody mentions in the comments appears in the MV". (Although my first thought was "who the hell is L? Why everybody talks about L here? Are Sungkyu and L the same person?")

I see a lot of people with the same theory (of how he is imagining the story), but I just can't see it....
How I see it is as follows:
L is walking happily when he sees his ex-girlfriend. Everything stops and he just looks at her longingly; he slowly moves his hand towards his heart indicating that his heart is beating fast (he remembers that he still likes her). When time starts again, the girl does not notice him and goes back inside; L wants to stop her but decides not to (he double thinks it), hence why he didn't say anything and just followed her. Once inside he sits where he can see her and he slowly starts remembering the good times they had together; while working she is smiling, which triggers his memories of them being happy (and her smiling at him). After some flashbacks, he starts getting uneasy. For those who say that his ring appeared after they showed it in the "other timeline”, we see his ring at 1:57 (before its shown in the flashback). He then remembers the day he proposed to her and he continues looking and touching his ring. Since he didn’t want to be seen just yet, he slightly bows his head while still looking and touching his ring (coz he is still thinking of their time together) when the girl comes with his order. Once she leaves, he looks up; while looking at his ring he remembered that she left him (and then we see the flashback of her giving him the ring back, thus breaking up). So, he puts down his ring then gets up (his facial expression shows that he knows it was a bad idea to have come in the cafe because he was just reliving the painful memories). The girl notices he left his ring (she didn’t really look at the ring, so she didn’t recognize it) and thinking the customer forgot it, she hurries to stop L from leaving without the ring. Once she sees who the ring belongs to, she stops smiling and is taken aback. L is still shaken by the rush of emotions, hence he moves slowly and awkwardly. He closes her hand with the ring in it silently “saying" to keep it. Now this can either mean that he no longer wants the memories of them together because it is just to painful and that that ring will only remind him of them, OR that he wants her to keep it as a gift of their time together (he is thankful he meet her) and to show that he still loves her but knows that she doesn’t (or it can even mean both). We then see the clock turn counterclockwise (returning to the past) while showing flashbacks of them together; when the clock finally stops we see them when they first meet and how they fell in love with each other (L being a gentleman and her being a damsel in destress (LoLz)). After that rush of memories, she looks up at him: L is crying because the emotions are way to strong for him to hold in anymore. The girl is sad (in the flashback when she broke up with him she seemed mad, thus my conclusion is that they had a fight but she still loves him). By giving his ring he is also saying that it is over for reals, which makes her sad and she starts to tear up. They continually show them when they first meet (in the past) and in the present: by doing so they are showing the contrast of their first and final encounter (they left together on the first encounter, the lighting is warmer and brighter (happy) - L left alone and she stayed at her work, the lighting is darker and greyer (sadder). The finale scene with L shows that he is gathering himself together and leaving their past together at the cafe (He is determined to move forward). THE END
We can tell a lot about the story with just their body language. Anyways, everyone has their own interpretations.. If I ever meet Sunggyu, the first thing imma ask (and say) is for the real meaning of the mv Lmaoo
2018 is coming soon I hope he has another album soon. His voice and performances are always perfect. If not, even better. Sunggyu's album was never a fail, and will never be. Sunggyu, Inspirits will always support you!❤️

15 march kim myungsoo's birthday. I remember turning off the light to celebrate his birthday with some soup and a cake (lol)...while I was dancing along to a birthday song the soupwater spilled all over my right leg. ROBLOXmidnight storyline: L saw the girl in the coffee shop and fell in love with her. then the time stopped for 60 seconds and he saw his entire relationship with her in the future right until they broke up. since this is going to be the end of their relationship, he decided to left the ring on the table and leave. the girl saw the ring and tried to give it back to L but he told her to keep it because he already saw that they would break up. when the girl looked into L's eyes, she was able to see what happened between them as well. this reversed everything and reset everything. L offered his umbrella to the girl the first time they met, but because he chose not to do it after he knew what would've happen, he ended up walking alone.
