Got the same problem . and then some. The HUD broke -pivot point on mirror . Turn signal indicator and bright light indicator not working. But left signal decided to. I had installed year ago the by-pass for separating the flasher from the turn signals . I suspected that . New flasher switch arrived to Advance store that I had ordered that morning. Before it did I pulled HUD and cluster. Fixed the HUD and pulled T5 bulbs and checked with 9 volt battery - all lite . Part came -installed -12 hours later all back together , HUD fixed turn signals and bright light working. Still no panel lights. To confirm -you suggest a replacement high voltage inverter. And the mileage will not change? thanks great video.
If you only change the high voltage inverter the mileage will not be affected, the mileage is stored on the cluster. If everything went out all at the same time it may be something else
@@HTPJay When I separated the high voltage inverter from the cluster there was a rattle inside. I opened it up and found 2 broken off pieces of nonmetallic material that surrounded the yellow transformer (?) It is seen in your video when you opened yours. I put the fractured piece in their appropriate place and thin strips of duct tape holds them in place. Being that they were not magnetic , I don't think their laying across a circuit would affect any thing. Putting them in their proper place couldn't hurt. I think my after market install of the hyper flash cure .could have caused the blinker/ bright problem. When that was first marketed it was to cure turn signals not working . And in my case it did fix that.Hard to tell when all this happened .Hadn't driven at nite for 15 years to notice Hud or panel lights. Turn signal was just recent however. thanks for your time ,Tim
have the exact same problem thank you man!!
Did you end up buying a cluster and replacing the inverter?

Did this stay fixed? I have the same issue
My gauge cluster has a short that comes around every now and then. I have to smack the dash to get it working again. Very annoying
I carry floss everywhere I go. No joke. Lol. But yeah, my dash lights are all dim, although I don't drive much at night , i gotta fix that shit.
Feel free to use my cars to make how to’s lol
