Hello, where did you purchase this? This sounds a lot like Interlude Man by Amouage.

Hello, we’ve bought it in niche store in Riga, Latvia. It doesn’t smell like Interlude, it’s very unique to our noses. Both are amazing middle eastern fragrances.

@@juliscent thank you for your response. It has a lot of notes that Amouage uses so just wondering. It’s unfortunately an expensive fragrance and I don’t see it discounted online.

It’s very dark and mysterious, balsamic, woody oriental fragrance with a touch of light and freshness from lemon. Very unique composition. For me it’s like a meditative fragrance, very comforting in the winter and addictive. I was looking for about a year for discounts on it and ended up buying at a retail price, because I love it so much. Black Gemstone for me is smoother blended and it’s very deep, but original Interlude is a little bit more harsh in comparison.
It feels like Interlude Man is more long lasting, stronger projecting composition with bigger sillage. They both deserve to be in the hall of fame of fragrances for my taste. Highly recommend at least to try them both.

@@juliscent interlude man is smooth, sweet, and addictive to me. I don’t find it harsh at all! I love interlude and jubilation, they are both comforting to me. I just ordered a sample of black gemstone because of the way you and other people have described it. I’m curious to get my nose on it just because you said it’s mysterious haha. Definitely seems intriguing.

I wrote that Interlude feels a bit harsher than Black Gemstone, because BG is incredibly smooth and perfectly blended. I was absolutely blown away when smelled BG for the first time and it’s one of the most amazing smelling fragrances for me.
Agree with you that Jubilation XXV and Interlude Man are stunning fragrances, they were in number 1 and 2 in our top favorite Amouage fragrances.

If you love oriental, resinous, woody, dark and mysterious fragrances than we would say YES, rock it and you’ll stand out from the others. Overall we think this is a serious fragrance for experienced noses and men over 25-30. It’s amazing 🔥

Im curious on what u mean by a very dark fragrance, if its like black afgano or ombre nomade kind of dark fragrance maybe i wont like it.. 😅

Definitely try it before buying. We mean it’s really very dark and resinous with a beautiful touch of lightness from lemon and some sweetness. It doesn’t smell like black afgano, we love Black Gemstone more than BA. But they both are amazing to our nose. Black Afgano was our first niche fragrance purchase, we were blown away when smelled it, like it a lot till this day.

Thanks for the comment) No, we think it’s not a crowd pleaser at all. This fragrance is for true experienced perfume lovers. A lot of people might not like it from the first smell. It’s very dark, resinous, mysterious. It’s an amazing fragrance, but the wearer should live some time with it to understand it better. Black Gemstone definitely will leave an impression on the crowd, but some people might not enjoy it. We highly recommend at least to try it 👌
