SHL is sadly an underrated house, notwithstanding just an outstanding fragrance brand. The fact that he only has released 21 perfumes in 8 years is a testament of how special & artistic his creations are. I have had the good fortune of sampling most of his works of art & Mortal Skin is a unique & gorgeous concoction, much in the same manner as his entire 777 collection…Black Gemstone is superb, O’Hira is a great homage to ambergris, and Soleil de Jeddah is one of my signature scents. Great stuff!✌️

I am not sure why this scent doesn't get more love. This was my first SHL fragrance. My eyes literally rolled back in my head when I smelled it. I was in a trance. I blind bought off of the name and bottle and I was not disappointed. 💕❤️
"Mortal Skin" is one of the finest and most original fragrances I have ever experienced. You are the only reviewer I've seen who fully appreciates the genius of SHL. Have you smelled "Une Nuit a Doha"? Yet another completely excellent review. Bravo. So well done.
Still waiting for your ROJA Haute Luxe review. It is my number one fragrance of all time. It is the richest and most opulent fragrance of all time... It has everything in it. Waiting for your review.
If im not mistaken Black Gemstone was the first one. I think the reason SHL is so underrated is because I remember when they first came out they were hyper expensive for the time. Obviously now they arent, but back then it was like Roja before Roja if that makes sense. There was hype around black gemstone but they just didnt have the mass distribution.
Another great recommendation from you sir. Blind bought this and God of Fire on your review, love it. Was confused by this one the first few sprays but loving it now, only wish it stayed longer on my skin!

Anyway, my problem with mortal skin is that on my skin lasts 3-4 hours, which is something i can’t stand considering the price. yes some of the rojas are weak as anything. Always try before you buy esp at these prices
