Hey, just wanted to tell you guys that was a very good instructional type video. It helped me considerably. I changed over my Coleman Mach unit to a thermostat on the wall and works great so thank you very much.
Just upgraded mine today. Watched a couple of videos before starting the install and I am very thankful I found your video. Saved me a lot of time troubleshooting and trying to understand why there was no 12v power shown to control unit. Thanks again for the incredibly useful information.(My new control unit came with zero instructions by the way!)
Hey you did really good on this it did help me install mine I got it fixed however I was going to ask you if you could tell me what part number was the old control knob box that turned on and off manually because I'm trying to install one in the bedroom in my camper I need to buy one like the one you took out
The switch where you found the thermostat wire what was that to? I have a small trailer with only one air condition. The other wires were not in the first video where you installed the air unit. Do they come with the thermostat?
Thank you for this question. A lot of RVs have the thermostat wire behind the switch where you could install a second AC (if your RV is equity for a second RV). That is the thermostat wire that runs to the area for the AC. If it doesn’t have one you can add one. Hope this helps.
Thanks for the video. Just tried to install mine and realized I did not have 12V+or- either. So basically I need to source 12V+/- from the camper and get the 12V+ to the new thermostat and the 12- to the controller and thermostat right?
😮 This is great! My mach 3 is older with the control knobs on the end, but the guts are the same. I gotta see if maybe i have thermostat wires in the wall
my switch has 1234 and then it has one other one down below it says L I need a color code to hook up my RV in 1978 Econo Winnebago there’s two knobs one on the left one on the right I need it facing it on the left and it’s called the control knob
Great video music very loud 😮
Thanks for watching. My apoligies. the video was released then we noticed it, thank you for your patience and ear drums. lol. Safe travels.
You guys did a good job on your videos. Very instructional and very informative. Thanks for your time.

Made it very simple to understad covered all questions thank you great video
Love the new addition T! Now I realized why I I’ve been having this problem of it not working. So. I will try again your way!
Let me know it it works.
Wait. Ahhhhhh. I get it!!!! So neutral on both ends.
THANK YOU for explaining the power to the thermostat! Airexel needs to start writing in English!!
What switch is the wire behind? I have the exact Coleman Mach with the knobs. My camper is a 2021 Wolf Pup FQ. Thanks for the great video.
It should be behind the switch on the bedroom where you are placing the AC in. If not you have to run a new one. Hope this helped

Great video, but you definitely answered the question of ‘is it worth it?’ … NO! Seems this should be much easier 😢

Try finding the source at a light or even try a 12volt switch. Hope this was helpful.
Where does the control box go?

I think your talking about this control box that runs the thermostat? Here’s a link of where we put ours.
You’re dealing with DC power, it’s not a “neutral”!! 🤦♂️
What was the control box you ordered have the same unit and need to buy one.

Does the nobs shut the ac when it gets to a certain temp? Or is it just turn on and stay on?
They have a temperature knob. But it does not turn off at a certain temperature. Hope this was helpful.
Everything works on the ac on low but the thermostat and unit turn off when turned to high. Any ideas of how to fix?
Ok. First. Love the hair flowing. NOT! Lol. Nice video. I currently have knobs. But I may try this. Thanks guys.
