The Paint Shaker
If you are interested in the paint shaker, I use it to mix my paints. So much better than by hand. The three links below will take you to various vortex mixers and paint shakers for miniature painting on Amazon. These are affiliate links and are labelled as such. If you buy from an affiliate link, a small portion of the sales price goes to Must Contain Minis as a commission, which I do appreciate. That commission comes at no extra charge to you. It is a way to get something you like while helping me out. Here are those links.

What a beast of a case, i have the 2.0 case and love it as a portable painting station, but this thing really feels like an entire portable hobby shop!
It really does!
Great system here. Thanks for sharing. One of the better systems I have seen for storage
Thank you so much for commenting. It is a good system.
To be honest, other than the portability aspect, I liked your previous setup better. Everything was more accessible. But being able to throw it all in, close it up and go is a very nice bonus.
Just ordered it. Can't wait for it to arrive 😁😍
Thanks so much for the comment. I hope you end up liking yours. I really like mine.
@@MustContainMinis I got it and I love it. Finally I have more order in my chaos 😅 and also can take everything with me. Thanks for your coupon code btw 😁
I just got my FG mini case. I love the finish and hardware. It’s a beautiful box and will be perfect for camping trips. 🏕️
This looks amazing. I've been looking for a storage/organization system for a few weeks and just found this. It's crazy how this was exactly what I was imagining my ideal setup would be. It's just that it's really overkill for my current needs. I wish the Paint Case 2.0 opened like this, with the hinge running vertically. I'm not a fan of the wood cover. It looks like it'd get in the way.
I am happy that you liked the video. This is a great chest. The Paint Case 2.0 I have as well and like it too. I don't mind the way it opens as it doubles as a work area that you don't need to worry about minor spills on. Thanks so much for leaving a comment!
A very impressive storage case ideal for limited space nice review jacob
Thank you The Miniature Painter.
The only thing they could add to it space wise is a compartment for the air compressor lol. Though you could fit one of theose portable recharge airbrush kits in this thing and they work well for quick jobs. Great review.
Thanks so much Animalyze71!
well good stuff a look in to may be i can get my logo on my box if get one and thats a big if but all in all will see more as more is posted
Thank you for commenting Red Green. It is a nice case.
I wanna askHi, I want to ask, if you should only take one of these cases, which one would you take? I have about the same number of colors as you, but the work proch is not completely settled. I had two motivations to buy. Transportation to coloring meetings and a complete workspace at home. I wonder if the big package won't be heavy to transport with all the colors. Please, I would like to get some advice from you.
What I really want to know is if an Army Painter wet palette can fit in one of these…
Army painter pallet is longer than the opening, but if you leave it open, it will overhang by around an inch. Width wise, it is smaller, so it fits on the bottom shelf but not on the teeth for the other levels.
I think if you sacrifice two of the slots on the bottom on the left or right side, the army painter wet palette would fit then,if you get my meaning. As you open the case it would be sticking out a bit.
On the magnet trays do they require the magnets on the minis have certain polarity facing to work? I just bought the Paint chest with a magnet tray. I want to magnetize some minis that I am starting to work on and make sure I don't get an unwelcome surprise. Thanks ahead.
My understanding is that it is a metal sheet on the bottom and not necessarily magnets. In my test, I used magnetic sheets of photo backing from the dollar store. For light plastic figures, that works okay enough, but I wouldn’t want to go over major bumps with it. I use the same on my metals. Those stick, but I have to be careful if they are in there. The magnets I used on them are too weak for metal minis. As for polarity, I don’t know. My assumption is it is a metal sheet so it shouldn’t matter.
In the past, I used too strong of magnets in a metal tool box and that was a whole different problem I didn’t expect. The minis didn’t want to stay in cohesion because the magnets repelled each other. I didn’t expect that. That was years ago. My next experiment will be small magnets instead of photo sheet magnets. Not sure when I will get that done though.
@@MustContainMinis thanks for the helpful information.
@@MrCaptbear42 You're welcome.
My paint chest arrived early! Arrived a lot quicker than I thought. I have yet to see it yet I’m currently at my boat for a time but excited to see it. I bought it so I can bring my painting to the boat. Best of both worlds painting minis and sailing. Thanks again!
@@MrCaptbear42 That is really awesome. Good luck painting on your boat. That is actually the first time I heard of anyone doing something like that. I hope the seas remain calm for you. :)
I want one but I'm scared it won't fit the height of my paints. I don't want to accidentally waste that much cash on something
Fair enough. Don't get one unless you are sure it fits your needs. I only measured GW paint pots and Army Painter / Vallejo dropper bottles. If you are using other brands, I am not certain how many of them will fit into this case.
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!
@@MustContainMinis you haven't ever happened to see if 2oz/60 ml bottles (like createx) fit in it, have you?
I have not.
