Mainstream Media refused to acknowledge Jalen Hurts as an elite. Since 22 Mahomes and Jalen are the most winning QBs.
I'm a Jalen fan and die hard Eagles. But That Jalen vs Mahonmes comparison is heavily tilted by Jalen's rushing prowess. And nearly half of Jalen's rushing TDs he is being pushed in from the 1-yd. If we can be real as Eagles fans, Jalen brings a ton ability and versatility to the QB, but more often than not, he's just adequate as a passer. And that's OK with the team we have around him. He's not going to pick your defense apart with quick reads quick decisions and pinpoint accuracy on a regular basis. He makes good throws to an outstanding receiving corps when he is given time in the pocket. More often than not, he's checking down, or hitting short safe throws. His tendency is to throw the ball away rather than force a throw into what he feels is tight coverage. Again, this is OK for the team around him. He plays risk averse football, and makes plays that lead to winning by not hurting the team.
Not sure why you’re calling him “Nick Bayless”. Skip was one of the few people who had the Eagles going to the Super Bowl. He’s also one of the few people in the mainstream media that gives credit to Hurts.
Bro it’s gonna be for nothing u do know chiefs are not the commanders lol eagles are gonna lose again unfortunately buddy save the hope and all they will lose pin this comment and come back so I can tell u I told u so

Yes, he’s great.. how about the Eagles Defense and Saquon PUNKED an over achieving team that didn’t even belong in the NFC Championship. I like the Commies. They are fun and young. They are no where near in the Eagles class.
@@itsintheword230I say all of this as a 9ers fan. They beat them, with their starting QB out for the majority of the game. One team is rebuilding and well ahead of expectations and the other is the best they've been since their SB window opened. The eagles have the best roster in the league, and definitely the most healthy heading into the playoffs. Having said all that, I'm sure they'll find a way to lose to KC.
If Jalen didn't play for the eagles he wouldn't be constantly undermined, psychoanalized, and disrespected. The media and most of FTF hate the eagles and by proxy disrespect Jalen.
Jalen Hurts has to win two conference championships for the media to consider giving him his respect smh. Ridiculous. If this were Allen or Burrow yall would be singing
Weapon X in the Eagles offense is Goedert. And he’s virtually never talked about by the national media because untimely injuries keep interrupting Pro Bowl level seasons. So he never gets the credit his game by game production deserves going back 5-6 years. For all the deserved talk about Saquon, AJ, Hurts, and DeVonta, Goedert has 57 catches on only 70 targets (81.43% catch rate) for 684 yards (12.0 YPC) and 3 TD’s. Not to mention 15 catches on 18 targets (83.33% catch rate) for 188 yards (12.53 YPC) and 1 TD in the playoffs. The Eagles literally run over 2 yards more per designated run when Goedert is on the field. He’s that dominant as a run blocker. As shown by his massive block on Saquon’s first TD where he nearly blocked the Commanders defender into the sidelines. Goedert not only has the most catches in Eagles postseason history but the most receiving yards as well. Injuries seriously have hidden how elite he actually is. And national media continue to sleep on him big time and virtually never mention him.
@JamieHoxter I have nothing but respect for Ertz. But Goedert is the better all around tight end. Goedert is elite at both receiving and blocking. Ertz is essentially a wide receiver and a very good one. But today reminded me a lot of his 116 catch season. The stats look great for him personally. But it’s actually a sign of an offense that’s not running effectively overall. Goedert offers more utility than Ertz with the major caveat of when healthy. Goedert’s injuries have hidden how overall elite he is. But he’s better than Ertz.
@@HaalandFCTVCurrently Goedert is better, but I dont think Ertz 2015-2018 is as respected as it should be. He was very very good those years. Goedert is really good too.
The eagles are ok i wouldn't say threat they had a cupcake schedule losing 2 of the 4 playoff teams they had on their schedule other than that nothing but bums they played against.

Yep.....i think he is going to get Philly the championship. But KC DC is good because they held McCaffrey in check last year with my 49ers and he was considered for MVP
Nick just can’t wrap his head around the Eagles being the most dominant team in the NFC and probably NFL. They are so insanely talented in every facet of the game it’s hard to see how they ever lose. If they are clicking like this in N.O., KC is in trouble.
@@gunslingershane8837Who has been more dominant then? Commanders beat on the Lions who then got 55 hung on them by the Eagles. There one of two teams left so its almost a fact at this point.
😂 Commanders weren't ever in the Eagles league. Jayden played mid and his teammates didn't "let him down", the Eagles are just WAY BETTER and took it. All season it's been the same story where people downplay how much the Eagles control every game.
eagles fam here. Yes we controlled the "game" but jayden was frying us. Our defense just forced fumbles on their wrs/rb multiple times. Jayden is an amazing player tho
Man, they’re all just saying “Eagles didn’t win well, commanders just lost poorly.” As if every fumble was forced through pressure or direct contact, the offense was putting up crazy stats, and the offense was capitalizing on all possible opportunities. This philly team deserves a million percent more credit than what’s being given. Except Wildes, love that guy.
how can nick possibly say this was Jalen's first good playoff game? he put up 300+ in the super bowl with an amazing QBR, arguably outgunned Mahomes despite losing.
Super Bowl LVII was 38-35. Yes, the Chiefs have won more games than in 2023, but the Eagles only rushed for 115 yards in the Super Bowl loss. Saquon Barkley can realistically put up those numbers on his own.
Yeah but Jalen threw for a lot. So if Saquon rushes more, Jalen passes less and the score still ends up as 38-35. Yes, the recipe for an Eagles win might be foor Saquon to rush for 200yds, but y'all forget that the Eagles played as well as anybody could have played those chiefs and still lost. The Chiefs defense is also like 10x better than it was in that SB
@@Mike7064 yeah and they had McCaffrey at his peak. My point is that it seems like whatever you might have as the other team, it never seems to be enough. The eagles could score 35, saquon 200 yards, just for the chiefs to score 36 and win. But I think the eagles have the best chance out of all teams to beat them
@@mugiwarasan23 bc our 2022 team was pass first offense. Also our defense was mid-grade so we had to put up 30+ to win. This time around we can hold teams to 25 or lower and have a balanced offense to drop 30+. If the 2022 team had this defense, Cheifs would be looking for a repeat rn and not a 3 peat.
@@KSATSpotting this chiefs defense is also 10x better than the 2022 chiefs defense. The eagles in 2022 (although not as good as now) had the advantage over the chiefs in every single category except for QB, TE and Coaching. I don't think that has changed
How Jalen was talked about, word for word was called their "Weak link" on the show is absolutely disrespectful. Especially for what he's accomplished in his entire career. It was always a uphill battle, he's playing in Philly which is not an easy place to play, he has been constantly torn down in the media and criticized, and he still continues to get very little credit. When you have to start your point with, "I'm not taking anything away from Philadelphia", that is exactly what you are doing.
Am I blind...... In the second game they played wasn't Philly up 24 to 3 in the first half before Jalen got a concussion.... That should've given them a sneak peek of what Philly can do with all cylinders pumping

Dont put Jalen Hurts in the same sentence with Patrick Mahomes. They arent the same.
@@merloc91 when it comes to wins yes they. qb doesn't just mean throw the ball..learn the game
@@merloc91🤡
@@merloc91 When Jalen outplayed Patty Star in the Super Bowl yes
Nick Bayless predicted EAGLES would miss playoffs !!! EAGLES/HURTS HATERS all over these FS1/ESPN streets are still embarrassing themselves
Not sure why you’re calling him “Nick Bayless”. Skip was one of the few people who had the Eagles going to the Super Bowl. He’s also one of the few people in the mainstream media that gives credit to Hurts.
As an Eagles fan I have to be fair to Skip Bayless here as he actually did pick the Eagles to go to the Super Bowl since the start of the season
Bro it’s gonna be for nothing u do know chiefs are not the commanders lol eagles are gonna lose again unfortunately buddy save the hope and all they will lose pin this comment and come back so I can tell u I told u so
yeah, not a Skip supported but he was almost always fair to Hurts and especially fair to the Eagles this season. I'd say Nick is acting more like classic Skip when his cowboys glazing was at it's peak during Daks first few seasons 🤣
Skip has the Eagles winning the Super Bowl since preseason! Skip loves Jalen Hurts
Lmao you guys sound crazy. It was close??? Stand on business and admit y’all were glazing JD. Yes, he’s great.. how about the Eagles Defense and Saquon PUNKED an over achieving team that didn’t even belong in the NFC Championship. I like the Commies. They are fun and young. They are no where near in the Eagles class.
But they did beat the Eagles in Washington.....so they are definitely in their class
I don't agree with you they let JD down you can't win if your teammates giving the ball to the other team in your own territory
@@itsintheword230the Broncos beat the Chiefs as well.. a lot of “decent” teams can pull off upsets. Doesn’t make them equal.
@isaachenrique10 ... When you go head-to-head and you split with a team. They are definitely equal.
Eagles are absolutely a special team 53 man roster is amazing that defense is legit. When they win the Super Bowl maybe the media will realize
Nick trying to manifest problems in the Eagles organization is just pathetic. What a clown.
Jalen was being entirely sarcastic right there. The whole discourse has been the Eagles are keeping Jalen under wraps so he doesn’t mess the game up.
“Big Dom has a mess on his hands” lmao like literally MAKING stuff up
Exactly!! 😂
Wow.. I😮 think you're the only one who sees through Jalen's sarcasm there. These 🤡 🤡
“ Brou, you wanna go first?” Then typical Nick continues to interrupt and talk over him.
Narcissistic behavior as always.
Jaylen Hurts is the most underrated quarterback in the NFL
I love him but the problem is he’s a bit brittle and Hurts avoided his area of the field for a lot of the year.
Zach Ertz is weapon X. He was killing da birds!!
@JamieHoxter
I have nothing but respect for Ertz.
I know he is a factor. He won me some money yesterday.
It took the eagle 18 seconds to score💚🦅.
Nick trying his best to discredit the Eagles and downplay the threat they are to the Chiefs

Jalen is one of 8 QB's to be in two Super Bowls in his first five seasons.

Most dominant 😂..
@@gunslingershane8837Who has been more dominant then? Commanders beat on the Lions who then got 55 hung on them by the Eagles. There one of two teams left so its almost a fact at this point.

Jalen Hurts is going to have WHATEVER game he NEEDS to have to win the game.
And Eagles disrespect still continues saying Eagles won because commanders made a lot of mistakes....
You thought they had a chance until they didn't.
😂 Commanders weren't ever in the Eagles league. Jayden played mid and his teammates didn't "let him down", the Eagles are just WAY BETTER and took it. All season it's been the same story where people downplay how much the Eagles control every game.
Speak the truth.
lol how did he play mid? He made no mistakes his team let him down tf was you watching
No sh!t idiot. They picked #2 for a reason and they were 150-1 to make the Super Bowl.
He played good based off what he was working with
eagles fam here. Yes we controlled the "game" but jayden was frying us. Our defense just forced fumbles on their wrs/rb multiple times. Jayden is an amazing player tho
All games are close until they’re not.

Nick Wright absolutely hates the Eagles. First things First as a whole hates the Eagles 🏈🏈🏈
Imagine trying to downplay a 55-23 loss on the second biggest stage. Thats exactly what Nick tried to do.
y'all keep lying Jalen literally had better stats and played a better game against the Steelers when Saquon had a less than stellar game.
Guys i know it hurts to say this so ill say it for you, ready....." The Eagles are elite "! It's that simple!

They would rather spontaneously combust than give credit to the Eagles.
“I don’t know think we’ve been disrespectful to Jalen…” media will lie directly into your face with zero shame.
Jayden Daniels had 20 incompletions. The media wanted him to pull the upset so bad. 😂😂😂
I can't help but feel that if the Chiefs had had a game like that against the Bills Nick would be drinking all of it
how can nick possibly say this was Jalen's first good playoff game? he put up 300+ in the super bowl with an amazing QBR, arguably outgunned Mahomes despite losing.
@@mugiwarasan23 49ers almost beat them last year, Eagles have a great chance
"Other then a few plays, we almost won"
How Jalen was talked about, word for word was called their "Weak link" on the show is absolutely disrespectful. Especially for what he's accomplished in his entire career. It was always a uphill battle, he's playing in Philly which is not an easy place to play, he has been constantly torn down in the media and criticized, and he still continues to get very little credit. When you have to start your point with, "I'm not taking anything away from Philadelphia", that is exactly what you are doing.
