Incredible vid! I was able to see the difference on camera! The detailing backgrounds & tips you give are real gems to aquire! As for what type of vids I’d like to see, more “step by step” types, with all of that great background info you give as to what, how, why you do what you do to correct & repair paint issues! Love the channel!!
Coleton, if you lived in WI, I would bring all of my cars to you. The problem is you make them look so good that I would never want to drive any of them again!! Great video. Thanks.
I got a brand new white model Y December 1. had 50 miles on it when I started washing, decontaminating, polishing and ceramic coating it. Came out great.
Coleton just wanted to say Thanks Again for the meticulous ceramic detailing you did on our R1S Limestone. Your attention to detail is superb. You're the best in the USA!. We had a wonderful time in Colorado and returned safely back to Sunny Southern California. After 2 weeks of ceramic curing we had a detailer that uses Gyeon products comment on your impressive workmanship. Thanks Again!
Incredible vid! I take delivery of my performance Y ON 12/26 so you gave me some extra areas to inspect! THANK YOU., I might need a chair with wheels for this inspection.
You can tell Coleton really cares about the quality of his work! Also, you can tell by the inflection in his voice that he's really frustrated with Telsa paint job quality. $1100 option for that paint.
Sorry, i was not trying to be rude. Its hard to convey tone over the Internet. I was just curious. Its amazing that you are living your dream regardless. Hope you have a good day.
Just recently acquired a Model Y LR and I'm curious what product did you use to coat the black trim? Thank you so much for your informational videos! I definitely was influenced by your glass cleaning technique on the model 3 and made sure to do it on my model Y thank you thank you!
customer told me he didn't want it polished so I did everything except polish. I told him he should do it but he insisted not to. It looked decent and i coated it with Gyeon Pure Evo. one month later... last week, he contacted me and asked if I could polish it now. he doesn't want the scratches 😅. booked to compound and polish out the coating scratches and reapply.
@OutofSpecDetailing yeah and I'm going to share this with every customer who wants a coating I won't do it unless they want at least a 1 step or if they have a brand new car and are ok with the very minor mfg defects before I start. great videos. thanks

@@OutofSpecDetailing Our 2020 Model Y and 2023 Model S have perfectly matched Multicoat Red bumpers. Our 2020 Model 3 didn't even get close to matching. It was like a completely different red. But that was because Tesla misconfigured the paint robots to try to save some money on paint and the body of the car has very little red coat so the primer was showing through and making it lighter. Tesla is definitely below par at manufacturing cars, and I give them no excuse other than stupid and cheap.
I've never cared for the Tesla's Red Multi-Coat paint, because it looks dull and shallow on the cars I see it on. (Perhaps it's a matter of proper detailing!) For $2,000, you should get a paint color that catches your eye every time you see it, and it's never done that for me. I'm interested in seeing the Model X Ultra Red in person to see how it looks.
It just needs to be washed to look great. Most Tesla owners aren't car people, so they don't wash their cars. You know they aren't car people because all 4 rims are fully curbed. Also, Tesla's paint can be soft and easily scratched all over with brush car washes.
I like the outcome of your work. But i dont get it.. why put so much efforts into something thats gonna get dirty, or " contaminated " as soon as you drive it..? I have the 2023 X, and I just: 1/ spray soap on it 2/ Scrub it with carwash cloth 3/ rinse.. and I see no problems at all, for now at least.. Unless someone accumulated all the nasty stuff for months or years.. i dont see why people would need to meticulously detail a car.
It's people that have money to blow that don't care about paying big money getting these services done. Imagine the bill for all that work... In a couple months it will have more scratches and be filthy again... 😆 I'm all for getting a ceramic coating and protection for your car, but one has to factor in that a Tesla has terrible depreciation, and that money will never be recouped! To each his own
Absolutely exhausted after watching you do all of that
Sorry 😬
Coleton doing hard work with one hand. What a stud. Nice job.
People should have no more excuses after watching Coleton.

Great to have you out here! Glad you guys are so happy with it!
Show more of the car after your Done ....... Fantastic Job !
Jescar Correction Compound does an amazing job and leaves virtually no dust and minimal hazing effect.

Wow great job! Can I ask info on the 4 point jack? Seem small and compact but does the job since no need to access the middle on a Tesla.

Hammering away... lol Good stuff man 👍🏻

Do you recommend doing a ceramic coating before or after getting PPF?
my cousin just got a 2006 ferrari in black, which product would you suggest to polish up the paint? thanks

at first glance i thought this was OOS Daves model x 😅
How much should i expect to pay for a service like this? I want to know if im over/under paying for this level of quality
How much does that work You just did cost? I live in Utah, so I need to figure out how I can get that work done too.

Can you fly out to Providence and detail my daughter’s 3?
You can bring it here 😀
Yes, and he will do it for free if you say it's her birthday.
What did u use for the black exterior trims
Gtechniq C4 Trim Coating
that car must have been repainted, even if it was new, some kind of accident that the customer dont now about, great work , keep it up 😀
Nope, just crappy manufacturing by Tesla. They are famous for crappy manufacturing.
Nice work. What does a 40 hour plus job cost?
Whatever it is it ain't cheap 😅

This is why I refuse to take on coating jobs alone. The customer is never happy, 9/10 their expectations are not met with coating only

How did you lose your arm?
Looks like birth defect and not an injury, I could be wrong
Are the other Tesla non-perf. wheels (19”/20”) take the coating any better?
Did he mention the cost of this detail?

Scam
I’ve never seen a Honda that had color matched bumpers. I’ve actually never seen it on a Tesla!! Bet ya that was repainted!
All of them come like this. Tesla struggles like many manufacturers to color match bumpers
It hasn’t been repainted…They all come like this

I better wash mine now it’s manky dirty.

When you look up the benefits of ceramic coating as well as PPF which I also get on the front of my cars because of where I live you’ll understand why
@@shojuswhere are you looking that YOU are finding that Teslas have poor depreciation?🤔
When I look they cost more than a new one.
Home much
Just wash the dang car, it’s new 🙄
