Hello, what is the difference between the first link which looks like it is shipping from Japan and the one sold in America? There is a $70 difference. Will the warranty still work in America? Also, how would this connect to a mic for Xbox, splitter?

I have the DX3 pro+ and thinking to upgrading to these but the fact that they have the same driver as my 560s is keeping me back from doing it. In my opinion these HP's are a lot better than the HD560s. The HD560s sound really thin compared to these HP's. The HD490 have also a lot more bass. So in my opinion it's a big upgrade from the HD560s!
I'm unsure if you'll be able to advise but thought I would ask, I'm currently using the PC38X gaming headset but it is starting to get a bit worn and not work as well therefore I've been looking at headphones the main ones I have been hearing about are the HD 560S, the DT 900 Pro X and the HD 490 Pro Plus my main focus for sound is for gaming, overall do you think these headphones would be a good upgrade over my current headset and if you had to pick from those 3 what would you say are best? Great tonality but the soundstage is pretty bad. Everything is jammed together in a blob. I returned mine. I did like the mixing pads more since they tightened up the bass.
Could you compare these to a hd660s2 & a Dt1990pro , please ?? I have hd660s2 (amasing !!) Was thinking about a pair of Dt1990pro Hd490 OR.. Hifiman Edition XS. My hd660s2 give me bad headaches after an hour...thats why im shopping around now again. They sound absolutly bananas crazy good, i just cannot enjoy them fr longer than an hour, too tight, and have a bad crackle in the mids to highs on certin songs,.. they tire out my brain & my left ear. 🤷♂️.. But... Edition XS or Hd490 or..dt1990pro ????? Appriciate ANY help you could give :) I enjoy your videos :)

Pardon if not mentioned in the video, but will these help prevent the ears from getting warm? I have a problem with my current headphones causing earwax to loosen up while wearing them so I'm looking for a good pair of open backs that won't do this.
Both score the same but have different qualities due to their varying driver tech and use-cases. Nonetheless, 9.5 for the Senn is nothing to sneeze at.

Good question... One end of the cable is mini-XLR, so no. You could detach it altogether and stow it separately.
What amplifier do you recommend for this sennheiser model ?
Anything with decent power would work, even small portable dongles sound great with these.

These are really, really good for FPS-gaming. I think you can compare them with the HD800s for pinpointing footsteps/enemies.

The 900 Pro X, Maxwell, and 490 Pro are great... I also saw that Beyerdynamic launched a new $500 gaming headset similar to the Audeze.

Personally, the Senn. But if you listen to a lot of content mixed with the MM, then the obvious choice is the Audeze.
