40 years later? you might have confused with the w124 the 74 w123 isn´t 40 years , not even 3 years ago by my counts it´s 50 years old and 3 years ago 47 ,but you´re doing a hell o0f a nice work all the thousands of w123 still on the roads should be cared
Greetings, it looks great. Did you use body filler? I ask because it is porous, letting moisture in and holding it. It works better if sealed with something front and back. One of my 123 sedans was full of it and the result isn't good. Also, beware of the chrome fender trim you installed. It can harbor moisture and will destroy your work over time. My first thought is to remove them, it was beautiful without them. If you keep them, remove them periodically and inspect them underneath. No matter how well attached, dirt, and moisture will find their way under there. The color is beautiful and the aluminum rims set it off perfectly. These are truly amazing cars. How many miles do you have on it? How were the mechanicals?
Thankyou after the welding. .abit of fuller was invetable.. happy to have sorted out the rust situation early before it was too late... happy with car now

Great work guys !
Thankyou! Appreciated
Even though a fair bit of body filler was used...not a bad end result. Use some rubber dressing for the grill and bumpers.
