Hearing you mention 131k miles like it’s surprising it actually surprising to me. I have an 03’ c240 with 250k miles on it, everything factory, runs and drives like it’s fresh off the lot. everything works, it’s quiet as a 2023 smooth shifting, no rough idle, even the leather seats are completely in tact, if I wouldn’t have told you how many miles I had on it you would think it was garage kept with less than 100k. these cars last forever with the proper maintenance
I'm a BMW guy myself, but I've always loved the look of these S classes. Just so classy looking. If you want a luxury car, Mercedes is tough to beat honestly.
I like how you're doing more used cars to go along with the new ones, and I love the variety as well. You'll review everything from Corollas and Sparks to McLarens and S-Classes. I still love the POV test drive format too, it gives a nice idea of what it's like to drive each car. Keep up the great content!
130K miles for that beauty is nothing , it didn’t even have a time to warm up yet … these cars will easily go over 500K miles with proper maintenance… key word being here “MAINTENANCE “
I drove the 2023/2024 EQS450 suv and I enjoy this MUCH MORE! Maybe if I drove the more powerful one it would have been different?! But I’d still go for the gas model any day.
@@kanob6440 bought a 2015 with 95kmiles looks great. Use it twice a week. Out about 4500 miles on it the first year so barely any use. After 1 year, the car started throwing codes about engine misfire, airbags, O2 , electrical cluster failures, air suspension went Brought to an actual Meecedes dealership and after diagnostic , some electrical clusters had to be changed, changed both from air suspension, the instrument cluster board had to be changed and there was a boot leak . Total $6700
@@ROSE-vt5ez yes. That was in 1 year and I barely use it that is why i only put about 4500 miles on it. Did couple of trips back and forth from Connecticut to DC 3 times in that year, then it sat and i drove it to the grocery store about 15 times that year and that was it.
Actually I got it .. been driving it for about 3mo now. First 1k miles catalytic converter and ignition coil went bad. Mercedes replace it (no charge) due extended warranty... otherwise cars is running great now for a 2 mo. I love it
Im lookin at one now at 125k miles for $33k. I already have one at 60k miles for $55k. I wanna put the one at $33k on Turo and make money off that. I made $3k off the one i already have… what u think???? Only had it 3 months
131,000 miles!! Wow you have to be crazy to buy this money pit. Electronics won’t last too long and let’s not talk about the engine which will give problems regularly. These cars need the warranty to be more worth it

These cars go to 500k miles, respect. No matter how high the mileage, you still get the respect.
Facts
how is the cylinder scoring? I've seen a few comments about it.

Without warranty, these S classes are money wormholes.

If it has a 130,000 miles on it and it's 8 years then it should sell for $29,000-$32,000.
