    For what it's worth, double uni knots instead of the swivel or tippet ring works wonders even on super dis-similar diameter lines, and is easy to tie on the river. Thanks for uploading, really a neat sounding trick to run the high vis line under the butt section as a quick way to confirm what's happening, gotta give that a shot.

      True. But the advantage of the swivel is that it does add a bit of weight. If it's legal (not in BC rivers obviously), replacing the swivel with a second fly is a good option too.

    Do you use that settep with two flies? If so do you put the flies inline or on dropper loops?

      I can't really answer that unfortunately as in BC, we legally cannot use two flies at once. Hopefully others can answer the question.
