Hello, I am in the UK now, but later I won't be. These reeds are specific to bagpipes or can I use a basson reed, for example? I don't think I will find chanter reeds in my native country. Thank you.

feel I made a mistake with my purchase. Bought a Practice Chanter secondhand, purchased new reeds, I just cant get the G note from it, not to mention the finger holes aren't even. their alignment is off. Think I may have been had.

ITS4390 Would you like to give us a call to talk about your chanter? We're here to help at 800-931-5010. The good news is, if needed, you can get a new Poly practice chanter of great quality and at a reasonable price to get started out right. It certainly makes learning easier, more fun, and less frustrating to be able to get a consistent sound and to hear each note clearly. I'm sorry you may have had a bad experience, but there's lots of success and enjoyment to be had with this instrument. Don't let it discourage you.
