Do smallpipes have all the same drone configurations? Two tenors and one bass OR one tenor, one baritone, and one bass

Great question! Most 3-drone sets, like Gibson Firesides, Walsh Smallpipes and most smallpipes with drones in front, have a baritone. McCallum Folk Pipes have a bass and 2 tenors. 2-drone sets, like MacLellan Studio Pipes and Walsh Retro Pipes have a bass and a tenor.

I was thinking about a McCallum bellows blown set in A, how long of a wait time is there to get them ?

Thanks so much. Unfortunately, we just sold the last set this week. Product time is 5-6 months. We do have sets already on order, but won't have any in stock until 2018. The McCallum Bellows sets are very nice, with top-notch reeds, and an excellent bellows unit. We do have mouthblown McCallum smallpipes in stock. Please contact us if we can be of help.
