Great to see this mod. Thanks for providing the clip in the rain/snow…lights up everything! I was thinking of something similar, perhaps using a magnet on my ROPs bar on my JD 950
I was skeptical at first given it is a Harbor Freight light, but it is very durable, heavy duty and bright. Gives me plenty of light off the back and front. Glad this was helpful.
The OEM light switch is a 2 stage switch, with the first click turning on the head lamps. Is the roll guard not pre-wired for additional lighting, or what is the second stage of the OEM light switch for? Just curious...
Great question...the first click turns on my headlights and "rear roll guard red lights". The second click does not do anything. Any thoughts or suggestions here would be greatly appreciated. The second "click" just clicks but nothing changes in lighting. .
@@stonehouseacres looking at the electrical breakdown online there may be an un-used terminal connection on the harness at the left rear below the seat? This is where the pigtail plugs in and runs up to the warning lights on the ROPS
@@stonehouseacres Hey, found a vid for the work light option on the oem switch. There is a purple wire on each side of the harness at the base of the ROPS. That is the "work light" option on the oem light switch.

@@ericlineberger2299 found it. Thank you. I’m going to see if I can connect my light bar to this? You think that works?
