❤ Hi. Thanks for sharing. Can I use a simple synthetic string to tie? Or I just need some wax string?
Wax string will definitely give you the best result imo but you can definitely try it with any string but the wax is what helps resist dye and adds detail that isnt obtainable with just synthetic string.

Love the video brother! I’m curious about how you use the soda ash. I’ve been dying for a few years now & always do the pre soak. I can’t stand how it feels on my hands when I’m tying. Do you only apply the soda ash after the piece has been dyed? I would love to never feel the dryness on my hands again lol
Yeah its possible to just do it at the end. I went over step by step how to do it at the end of the video. I hate folding soda ash shirts as well. It dries out my hands too.

Thank you for sharing this process. I'm always hesitate to do these types of shirts because of the issue of getting good saturation of the colors. I've seen others doing it and it seems to be, the chem water, then the use of hot water to push the dyes further into the shirt.
Exactly the pariah method definitely helps with saturation. Have fun

I watched this tutorial, tried it, couldn’t figure out why it came out so bad and was so hard to tie up, rewatched the video, realized I did it completely wrong 🤟🏻😂

You could definitely use a gutter rather than a rack...use whatever works for ya...but like to see if i have full saturation and thats hard to do with a gutter when there is ice still on the shirt.
