Monstrum Tactical now has a lifetime warranty on all their products. I have a couple red dot sights, a couple 3x prism sights and the SFP 1-6x24 Spectre lpvo. Had good luck with everything so far. I'm thinking about buying this 3-18 for an LR308 build.
Yepp. They switched to a lifetime warranty not to long after I made this video. Great choice on their end as about all of the major brands out there offer a lifetime warranty now.
@bradkiewiet4268 check out the Panzer 1-10x (it has better glass ED glass) Or for a little more Discoveropt makes good optics that are a higher quality for a little but more (they also have good ED glass)
I do have the same scope that I mounted on a Ruger 308 with a FDE stock. The rings that came with it were extra high and I decided to buy lower ones before shooting the rifle. I purchased some Monstrum rings in FDE that blend in better with the rifle and scope. It is best not to order rings until you see how the rings that come with it line up. After you see that it is better to choose the right height of rings if you need others. Monstrum has a large selection of scope ring heights, and you can get them in the color of the scope if you wish. This is a 30mm tube and you need to make sure you get the right rings. They also come in two different styles you have to also have the correct base type Piccinnini or Weaver Style. The ones that come with the scopes are Piccininni and extra high.
I’ve used several Monstrum scopes out to 1000 yards. Glass is OK, adjustments are mushy, tracking is about OK. I can tell you that their customer service is nonexistent. If anything goes haywire after the warranty, just toss the scope, they won’t respond.
Does this model have zero resetable turret or turrets ? Does this model have zero stop on one or both turrets ? I appreciate your time spent in responding, thanks n' God bless brother
My 1-4x24 is good to at least 500 yards. Everyone thinks they have to have very high powered scopes. We didn’t have scopes when I was a kid we’d shoot several hundred yards just iron sights.
Nah… I have owned the 6-24 variant of this scope for a couple years. Its a good scope for the money. If they improved the turret accuracy would make it a fantastic scope for the money.
I wonder if he thinks it's "Nice" lol. These seem to be well made. I saw another video where it was mounted on a .50 cal. Held up with no issues. Seems nice lol. thanks for the video brother 😎
Do they track perfectly and reliably and any problems whatsoever? How's the center dot at maximum magnification how big is it at 300-600 yards is it small enough for precision target shooting?
Have one of these inbound. But, I have to say, I’d much rather see them come with a sunshield than a flash hider. Unless going against a human adversary, the flash kill is pointless. And face the facts, how many purchasers of this scope will be using it in combat? On the other hand, as a target shooter, or hunter, a sun shield can be a useful accessory and is likely to be the same overall cost, or close, to the manufacturer. For 99% of real world applications of a scope in this price range. A sun shield’s ability to offer better image clarity trumps the dubious ability of making the shooter less visible to an “enemy”, or prey animal. Tools for the task at hand, and all that. And if actually putting my life on the line, I won’t be looking at budget end scopes. 🤷♂️. With that said, nice scope for what it does. Just keep it real…🎉
@@commonsense5709 I suppose it depends on your application. For my uses (precision rimfire) I found the reticle center dot aiming point too large. I think I commented on this elsewhere as well. Unfortunate, as otherwise the scope seemed decent for the money. And if the center dot isn't unreasonable for your needs, it may be a decent budget scope. Didn't work for me so I upgraded to an Arken soon after, and the Monstrum sits in a box. So, I can't comment on longer term use or how well the Monstrum does over time. Sorry. The Arken is a WHOLE other level of optic. Perhaps a bit more money, but worth every extra penny spent for my uses.
Not likely. At the very least you will need a scope with an etched reticle. I don't believe this one is etched and will probably fail due to the recoil.

I just bought this scope 😮
I love my G3 scopes! I have this one too, its on a 308 PA-10. Mine has been awesome 👌
Good to hear since I been looking at this scope to put on the ar-10 6.5 creedmoor that Iam building

I think I’m going to order one of these for a 18” 5.56 spr build I’ve got going, for $200 and a lifetime warranty seems hard to go wrong
Thank You very much for this video! I just ordered one in black! I’m gonna put it on my Ruger precision bolt 17hmr…. Excited about it! 👊🏼
@LaFamiglia How'd that work out for you? Regretting buying a $500 vortex instead of this one. I have a RPRimfire.
I have this same model, same color and mine didn’t come with the glare shield but it did come with the long sun shade.
I have bad experiences with low profile sights, but my budget isn't for a Leupold, does this thing keep the zero point on .223 caliber?
I ran one for 1000 rounds and held zero never had an issue . Only took it off to run a red dot 🤦🏼♂️🤷♂️ vary much considering putting it back on
Monstrum Tactical G3 3-18X50 Rifle Scope
SME presentation and very detailed and professional. Appreciate it.

This one is available

Reset to zero and lock, no zero stop tho

I have a Remington 270 cal model 4 automatic will this be a great scope for this rifle
Got an update on this scope? How has it been performing?
I 2nd This! "Need more input..."
Probably broken by now so no response.

Great vid, and I’m a fan of Monstrum…
This still lasting? Looking to buy a scope for my ar too.
Great video!

Thanks for not showing the reticle. Would have sucked if you did 👍
there don't seam to be very many reviews out there on this scope
I have two of them.

@@commonsense5709 I haven't tried it past 300. Yd. Sorry. All I know is. I like it.
Nice review!
Hi, will this work on ar15 or ar9?
Is it possible to buy in Europe?
Wish it had a Christmas tree reticle
Good stuff here thank you.

Just got one of these in today. Mine came with a sunshade!
He showed a sun shade
How is it working for you? Any problems at all? Is the tracking accurate and reliable?

Just wondering what bino harness are you wearing

Not likely. At the very least you will need a scope with an etched reticle. I don't believe this one is etched and will probably fail due to the recoil.
Buy a Leupold or a Japan made scope for reliability and durability instead. Stay away from anything made in China especially for a .50 cal.
