randomly walked into a boot barn a few months back and got my first western wear in the form of a cody james hat and some ariat boots. There's something special imo about buying your first pair of boots and a hat. It's a lot like getting your first tailored suit: the tailor measuring you and trying on different styles until you find the one that fits you just right, it almost feels like a rite of passage

This is some great and skilled worksmanship.My grandma and grandpa were one of the only three producers of top hats, cylinders, hunting hats in slovenia. They started in the mid 60’s and worked till 2009. Nowdays we dont make them anymore, we produce protective clothing and also personalise chlotes, also my dad and his brother never learned the hat making craft, but i can remember my grandparents working and shaping the hats when i was a little kid.
