Hands down one of the most beautiful and bad to the bone sportster builds I have seen. Amazing work!
Hideya gets it. These new bikes are a challenge for anyone in love with choppers or the classic Harley Davidsons, but seeing Hideya's work brings me some hope that some soul and romance can still be injected into these machines. No shade on the designers, I understand that times change and what people want changes. The sporty has just traditionally provided such a good, simple platform for garage builders, cheap choppers and easy customization beyond risers and bars.

I just watched the film again. All of the customs are cool but I have to say Hideya’s design seems to have the greatest flow to my eyes. A piece of art! When he fires that beast up it has the most aggressive bark and sounds like a Harley. I can envision my younger self riding the snot out of that beast!

Looks kinda like the Indian FTR. I'd throw a skinnier rear wheel on there to make it look even more like a flat tracker. Sweet build!

@@gigi9467 Oh stop. Japan has had a long fasciation with custom motorcycles, and harley davidson. They are the ones that keep alive the spirit of the crazy oldschool styles of the 1960s and 70s. Without them many of the oldschool designs would have faded away. Look up Aso Chopper.
Japan views Harleys the same way they we view them, as bikes with more soul and character.

No one has bought a motorcycle from the "reasonable" side of the brain. If they insist they did, it was probably a Suzuki V-strom or a stack of magazines. Great bike and craftsman.
Easily over a billion people in the world right now have bought motorcycles specifically as an economical means of transportation. Look around on streetview in Bangkok or Phnom Penh and you'll see.

Nice build, what race tuner was used for these pipes?
the curved lines of the front panel and the low set left sided gauge, that's the type of stuff that makes you feel like player 1.

I bought a complete running 95 1200 sportster for $200.00 dollars with title and bill of sale! It was a great deal and plan on doing something radical with it, I want it looking mean !

Up until the last Buell made, it was a Harley-Davidson evolution engine that was used.

Again, they will only show the right hand side of the bike. Apparently HD doesn’t want anyone to see the left side of that engine which looks like crap!

not a bad looking bike. personally, I’m not a fan of these “grandpa bikes” (as I call them), with the multiple mirrors, huge saddlebags, big front windshields, and just an overall chunky build. It seems like that’s what most Harley riders are on now. Im more into the stripped down look. The less on the bike, the better.

Harley should've hired this guy. The new Nightster would've had some soul. Instead, it looks terrible with its fake gas tank and exhaust that looks like they had a kid design it.
