- After 2 years of absence, I've decided to come back with this video. As I've gotten better at my artistic skills, expect to see more videos like this to come, with maybe other series like Better Call Saul? With an intense battle between Phoenix Wright & Saul Goodman?
I don't know, I like merging my favourites things together.

I've seen the jokes about Jolyne not going to prison if she had Phoenix as a lawyer, but seeing how it would go was awesome.
That was the intention of this video, seeing the memes made me want to make it real :)
I have a feeling she wouldn’t go to prison for murder, however, she wouldn’t be allowed to leave town and be placed in custody with a family member for her involvement.

The best part about this is that it's not completely out of the question that ace attorney and jojo are in the same universe. If the timelines matched up, the Speedwagon foundation could have realistically found Phoenix if they were looking for defense attorneys with experience dealing with mystical powers, and I find that incredible.
If this doesn't wrap up with Phoenix awakening a stand during a hopeless situation and somehow using it to figure out the final bits of info, c'mon. It's right there... A stand battle with him and Pucci, but with supernaturally-charged courtroom debates instead of punches like a true, ridiculous Jojo-style battle. It also fits with Ace Attorney's constant lean into the supernatural as you pointed out, actually.
Of course he has a stand. It's name is (ザ・ホゥ[The Who]) or in english, "Za Hu?" It's power is to take the distance between two points and figure the most concise and more certain path between them. This is both physical locations and purely conjectural theorems. If there are two points, it can figure out a connection between the two, if there is any. It also has the power to determine if someone is lying by analyzing their soul's aura and to pry off lies and falsehoods with it's main power "Behind blue eyes."
Literally all of the supernatural, including hamon, spin, and folklore/curses are considered stands in JoJo's. He just needs to name it after an archaic pop culture song, preferably by a rock band.

psyche-locks are basically a stand power anyway
Phoenix's Stand: ...And Justice For All. Allows him to spot a guilty soul without the need for context. Can also tell with someone is lying or telling the truth.
Maya's Stand: Just the Two Of us. Allows her to summon Mia and another soul into her so Mia has support while interogating the dead.

*Edgeworth:* *summons his stand*
Phoenix Wright single-handedly preventing the Joestar Bloodline from being destroyed in one trial. Sounds like something Nick’d do.
This actually adds up because Phoenix has an old relative that immigrated and became a lawyer, who became the first line of Phoenix Wright's family bloodline, which makes it entirely possible that there were past Wrights that became lawyers and met people in Jojos family tree

Now THIS was a fantastic video to see! Loved the flow of this video. Hitting the right beats to me. Especially more so in the end. I would be excited to see Saul Goodman and Phoenix duke it out in the court. But I am happy to see more of your videos Zenlaeth.

I came from Reddit, this is really great, not only as a fan's work to both series, but as a way to imaginate how much Stone Ocean would be different with a good lawyer.
i would read an offical jojo what if's a book that has short mangas (I don't know if there's a name for those) that has alternate outcomes like for example: what if jolyne had a good lawyer and what if jotaro didn't get nerfed in part 4 and 6 and beat pucci

After thinking about it, I could make a 2nd/final episode of this (with Enrico Pucci involved), interesting ideas came into my mind. I'm currently working on the script, I'll see where it goes!

As a fan of both of the series’, something just struck within me and it was the exact feeling I had when watching the portals scene in endgame for the first time. Keep up the great fucking work dude

seeing the judge from Stone Ocean in Ace Attorney artstyle felt so natural
I can't say anything less than "I am amazed." The fact you were able to capture the energy of both universes and meld them together to where they both made sense in their own weird way, this was incredible. The fact that Jolyne, Jotaro, Romeo, heck even the judge just look so good in this pixelated format is another thing.
Then there's all the subtle stuff like Maya's comments, Nick being hesitant but resolved, abd finally the fact that while we learn later on in Stone Ocean that Romeo truly loves Jolyne and she forgives him then, it's an unfortunate yet subtle truth that had she learned of his involvement during the trial, she would have 100% done this like she did it to the corrupt lawyer. Nice way of showcasing her early-part personality.
Overall, amazing work and I'd love to see you do a part 2 with Edgeworth as the main character while Pucci is on trial (mainly since I don't want to see Nick defending Pucci). Kudos!

I like to think Phoenix Wright defended Jotaro when he beat the shit out of those criminals.
In reality, this could not have taken place even if Ace Attorney was canon to JoJo, due to Part 6 playing in 2011, which predates Phoenix's Lawyer debut by 5 or so years, and i think it even predates Mia's debut by a year, not sure about that though.
Edit: it is totally possible that Mia could defend Jolyne here, as her first case was in 2007-2008

Pucci would probably move on to a new plan as per his motivations. Yes, it would require baiting Jotaro with another thing, but Pucci is really patient.

The 2 year comeback is real. Your art has improved a lot since Jojo: Ace Attorney Part 2. This video is great. Also yes please make Phoenix Wright vs. Saul Goodman. I actually just finished BCS. Seeing Nick's bluffing vs. Saul's chicanery would be amazing.
It would be interesting to see a follow-up regarding the already dead body and Pucci's plans to make Jolyne appear as guilty. Which would be pretty impossible as I doubt Pucci didn't use his Whitesnake because he isn't a dumbass to leave evidence at plain sight, but still would be interesting how far the trial could get.
Exactly, I've wrapped my head a lot around that :
The intended idea of this video was to get more in depth with the involvement of Johngalli a's henchmen that threw the victim (possibly manipulated by Pucci's DISC?) -> that will lead us Johngalli -> then to Pucci
I wrote a lot of different case scenario, in vain. Building a case with all of these characters involved was a little too hard for my small brain sadly
@@zenlaeth Don't worry too much. This would certainly be a multi day case, and probably the actual main arc of the game. So you would have 5 cases to lay the ground work.

I really enjoy the fact that these universes were combined and make sense. wright has seen his fair share of wacky stuff and it would make sense that he would instantly believe Jotaro about his daughter. This edit is amazing and I can't praise it enough. well done!

Seriously tho everything about this was amazing. Phoenix being hired by Jotaro and the SPW foundation, Jolyne partially awakening her stand from sheer betrayal (Jolyne please if he dies that’s accidental manslaughter and we gotta do this whole song and dance over again lmao. Thank goodness stands are invisible to normal ppl so no one saw the strings leading to Jolyne lol), the color shifts were perfect and everyone’s sprites are amazing! Looks like I gotta subscribe so I know when the second part drops ;)

Excellent video my friend. You used all elements from Part 6 accurately, even Jolyne's effort to protect Romeo and her strong hate towards her father. Good Job! This video must have taken days or a whole month to make! Currently it has only around 3k views but I hope it reaches at least 40k in the end of October. Also I hope there is a Part 2 with Pucci or Johngali A involved

@@zenlaeth I would really appreciate a Part 2 with this kind of scenario. Pucci had the goal of cornering Jolyne in GDS prison in order to bring Jotaro to him and take his discs. This is why he wouldn't let Jolyne escape imprisonment this easily. You also kinda teased a second court in the future. You could continue the story from that.
Idea: Pucci could even use discs as commands on Mr. Wright to make him evil and prove Jolyne guilty

I especially liked how in the court, to resolve a plothole of (how would jolyne awaken her stand if she didn't go to the prison?) with her awakining to Stone Free due to the rage she felt against Romeo was just *chefs kiss*

I love Phoenix, and I can 100% see him succed on this case, but there is absolutely no way he isn't getting his brain crushed like a watermelon by one of Pucci's henchmen after singlehandedly destroying his whole plan to get rid of Jotaro and obtaining his Stand Disc and the information to go to heaven.
Yes, this first case would pretty much go down like this, but unless he develops a stand strong enough to be able to fight back against the assassin's Pucci is gonna send, he probably won't be there to defend Jolyne on the second case.

The way you wrote out the characters felt so natural to the story, and really put a smile on my face when we got to see Phoenix break down the evidence. Jolyne's reaction to seeing Jotaro and her talking about how she'd rather be found guilty. I mean, the writing is just simply spot on! And to top it off, the sprites we're amazing! I adore the color changes and details you've added into them! You've outdone yourself!

@@zenlaeth bro I totally get it! The long haul process of producing these kinds of videos is stressful, but is really satisfying once you have it done. I've had my own experience in that field many times. With me, the most challenging thing to structure is the writing. I'm trying to make my own Phoenix wright murder case, and I am having an incredibly hard time figuring out how exactly to structure the murder in a way that makes sense. Adding the layers to build the incorrect perception people have is really challenging.
