Wait a minute... when I heard this on the radio I genuinely thought Joey was playing the solo and singing too. Hahaha. Hooray for the magic of live radio! (Plus I love The Milk Carton Kids, I don't care who plays what as long as it sounds as good as it does.)
Those reviews and comments are ridiculous, you two are my favorite and always will be! ♥️ Keep bestowing is with incredible heartfelt music please! 😊♥️
Kenneth is actively trying to break Joey. Half of this band is purposefully trying to sabotage the performance, and it's just the best thing I've ever seen.
@@giovanna722 Sure! In the second song Joey is trying very hard to keep up with Kenneth, guitar-wise. Kenneth delights in pushing the song faster and playing his part as creatively and unpredictably as possible. It all plays into the bit they're doing in the banter about Kenneth being a better guitar player. 'Purposfuly sabotage ' is a bit of hyperbole, but Kenneth is really very gleefully challenging Joey. And it's all payback for all the silly jokes Joey makes at Kenneth's expense. I just love seeing Joey try so hard to play his (supporting) part, while also trying to keep up his deadpan quips and composure. It's all part of the antagonistic comedy that these guys do, which is so entertaining to me!
@@ljm792 LOL I love the Milk Carton Kids' antagonistic solos. There's a video somewhere where Kenneth trolls Joey in the solo to their song "Heaven" and Joey has the biggest grin when he gets to sing "Go to hell!" at the end of it.
anonymously offering my opinion: great stand up comedy between some nice songs
“ I’ll go ’round again “
🔥
Beautiful performance 👏What have I been doing all this time - I’ve only just heard of this fantastic festival. Better start saving the air fare 🎶🤣

What joy! Makes me glad to be alive. Thanks brothers.
They're so funny (not to mention talented)
I love the wind blown hair flick at 3:58 (especially effective in 144p for some reason)
Most excellent band ❤️
Joey is rocking that solo!
Haha!
I love these two :)
Kenneth solo's so quickly, it looks like he isn't even putting his hand on the strings, just picking.
Love those guys!
Perfection!
Brilliant

The framerate of this video can't even keep up with Kenneth's right hand!
Absolutely beautiful 😊❤️🌹
Hilarious and lovely!
man, I miss this show.
First time I've seen/heard them plugged in. Sounds great as always, but I prefer the mic(s).
Anyone know what guitar pickups they use? It sounds amazing.
i fucking love this performance

Could you explain what you mean?

10:33 his big solo
Kenneth is a walking solo. I don't think his hands allow him to play rhythm.
Actually Joey has to do a real effort to follow Kenneth's rubato.
Hi anybody out there with better eyes than me figure out the tuning? Open D, but is it dadgae?
Joey's usually tuned down a tone, so DGCFAD
Not like S&G to me. Joey reminds me of Gene Clark or Gram Parsons, sounds of the Byrds....
They remind me of the Milk Carton Kids :-)
