Utterly sensational performance, harmonies, lyrics and talent, as ever. I never tire of their songs, their humour (missing here, sadly) or their amazing live performances. This recording is an absolute treat with a stage full of outstanding musicians and some top-notch mixing, filming and editing.

@@willardfarkwark835 Conversely, I adored the mixing. For me, it gave a perfect blend of all of the musicians on the stage, and gave new dimensions to the songs as compared to when they've performed them as a duo. But, music is art, and art is subjective, and people are all different, which is what makes it all so magical. So, to each their own.

This is so beautiful. I've followed Milk Carton Kids as a duo. This concert is 2019. They were thriving as new musicians rising! They've been around, but finding their crossover niche here.
I hate COVID! Let there be live music again. Let those rising, like the Milk Carton Kid rise again! This is so good...

This tour's version of "As It Must Be" with the full band playing held me so spellbound at the Clearwater, FL show. I could hardly move or take take a deep breath while they played it. I really hope MCK release this song again with all the additional musicians playing. It adds so much depth to the tapestry of sound. It may be my new favorite MCK song!

Yes, as much as I adored the full band of Queen Jane, As It Must Be left both numb and on fire simultaneously. That's why I was so excited to find this video, was for a performance of that song. Between it, and the encore of Promised Land, I still get chills thinking about the show.

  • @vratyadeleon1928

This live version of "The Promised Land" strikes me as so much deeper and more touching than the one on the album. The Milk Carton Kids are for me the most beautiful musical discovery of the last weeks - and I discover a lot all the time.

@@jaybharti4610 While I understand the want to avoid the ads I don't mind them if they are placed in between the songs. If it wasn't for the ads, small bands and other small artists wouldn't get paid and therefore, we wouldn't get to see this. I can suffer through a short commercial in order to support things that I enjoy. In that respect, I hope Jaden doesn't get an ad blocker and others with them perhaps think about removing them.

I have followed TMCK for about 6 years. Iv e loved them so much and I love that they changed their style abit but the full band on every song was not a good thing, what I loved about TMCK is the simplicity of their music. on this setlist queen jane was just butchered, one of my fav songs and the new jazz thing they tried with it was not good. i thing the band for some songs is fine but not for the entire show (P.S where is all of the amazing banter we are used to?!)

I saw them about a day or two after this was posted, they had plenty banter, I don't remember what they were wearing but there was the backing band. They still sounded amazing, were very nice and stayed to talk to everyone after the show. The lack of banter was probably because it's PBS, or maybe it was edited out.

the kids shoulda just stuck to the duo. It was magical, inviting, intimate, forgiving. The band has killed this band IMHO. Joey just always looks distraught compared to his usual amusing sarcasm. Kenneth looks and sounds strange without the 52 Martin O-15.
