Last, a fun story. I saw you by accident in 2013 when you opened for Punch Brothers at the Rio Theater in Santa Cruz and I was blown away by the quality of the sound. It was like a holy moment of sonic reverence. Years later I found out the secret to that sonic wonder was the little microphone between them, and I bought one. Now it’s just about the only thing I use for recording. ❤
I love the addition of the banjo, and I think Joey may have a real future in murder ballads. Also fun to watch an audience that fires back ... 🤣 I am very much looking forward to the new album!

'One True Love' is making me wear out the rewind button, and making me want to get a goddamn banjo.
Listen to the light inflections Kenneth puts of the words 'feel' in the second verse during "I mostly feel like hell" and 'slowly' in "the pain will slowly fade". Just gorgeous. These two continue to show why they are my favorite singer songwriters working today.
Finally get to see these guys in July after years of listening to their amazing music. Can. Not. Wait.
There comes a catch in my throat with the songs. The snarky humor brings such laughter that my grin breaks into genuine giggling and my shoulders shake.
My emotions are indeed that strong, as is my gratitude for all your talent and gorgeous presentation in sharing it.

We drove four hours one way to see them the previous night in Minneapolis. Now I'm kicking myself for not adding another night and 5 more hours to the trip to see them at Codfish Hollow too. Hauntingly beautiful

Hi guys been watching for a few months I really enjoy your art it takes me back to when I was a young boy my father joined a club called something like Columbia Record’s it was big at the time (mid 60’s) I was born in 1960 so I was 5 or 6 and dad in infinite wisdom let me choose my first album ever it was an album that still soothes my mind and yet haunt’s me just a little knowing after all this time nearly my whole life the same couple of tunes still brings tears to my eyes not because I’m sad or happy rather because I feel those couple of tunes I don’t hear them exactly like every other song rather I am moved perhaps my life is a string of moments that I remember fondly from time to time
