You lads are absolutely mental! 🫣 The sound of my knees clapping would echo throughout the valley! Thanks for taking us along for this adventure, what an experience! Thanks for the heart attacks on the go pro drop and the slip shortly after too!
I enjoyed that. Great effort with the voiceover too; you clearly explained the options, route conditions, dangers etc. I've been checking the weather for the last month, looking for a window to do this scramble but seeing it in the wet, I'm sure it would be just as good, perhaps better, in the rain ;-).
I love scrambling, and have ascended many grade three's, and all solo. An Stac and The Inn Pin being my favourites so far. I do it for the thrill and the fun of it. Once you add rain, and slippery rock, it ceases to become fun anymore, and far more risky, and then in my book, completely pointless. I would be absolutely devastated being carted off a grade one scramble with broken bones, knowing that I wasn't even enjoying it in the first place.
Up those sloping slabs, option 1 is dangerous, if you go left, down and up it's easy and reasonably safe. If you slip or stumble on those slabs, that's it!

Cracking video that, trouble is I think you have just psyched me out of doing that route 🤔
